ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out the profile of teachers' constructivist practice and it effects on self-efficacy and student cognitive learning outcomes. The subjects of the study are two Biology teachers and a group of first year high school students in Kayen district, Pati. The instrument of data collection is consists of questionnaire, observation sheet, and score document. The data of the research are analyzed with quantitative approach. The results show that both teachers get average score of 3,16 and 3,63. Those scores are classified as high criterion. Based on the N-gain test, the result of students’ cognitive learning has medium to high criteria. The students' cognitive and self-efficacy learning outcomes in all classes before and after constructivist practice on learning by teachers significantly differ (p <0.05). Although the result of student's self-efficacy in N-gain test shows low to moderate criteria, the result of the analysis shows that there is positive correlation in students’ self-efficacy caused by constructivist practice by teachers with cognitive learning outcomes. It can be concluded that a profile of teachers' constructivist practice is classified as high category which has positive effect on self-efficacy and student learning outcomes. Keyword: cognitive learning achievment, constructivist, self-efficacy ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil praksis konstruktivis guru serta pengaruhnya terhadap self efficacy dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Subyek penelitian adalah dua orang guru mata pelajaran Biologi dan siswa kelas X IPA di salah satu SMAN di Kayen Kabupaten Pati. Instrumen pengambilan data penelitian terdiri atas angket, lembar observasi, dan dokumen nilai. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik konstruktivis guru dalam pembelajaran oleh guru A memperoleh rata-rata skor 3,16 dengan kriteria tinggi, guru B memperoleh rata-rata skor 3,63 dengan kriteria tinggi.  Berdasarkan uji N-gain hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas X IPA.1sampai X IPA.5 dengan kriteria sedang sampai dengan tinggi. Hasil belajar kognitif dan self-efficacy siswa di semua kelas sebelum dan sesudah praktik konstruktivis pada pembelajaran oleh guru menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p< 0,05). Walupun uji N-gain self-efficacy siswa masih menunjukkan rendah sampai sedang.  Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa di semua kelas ada korelasi positif self-efficacy siswa akibat praktik konstruktivis oleh guru dengan hasil belajar kognitif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa profil praktik konstruktivis pada pembelajaran oleh guru menunjukkan kategori tinggi, hal ini berpengaruh positif terhadap self-efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : hasil belajar kognitif, konstruktivis, self efficacy siswa

This research was motivated by the learning outcomes of SMAN 5 Tapung students who were under the target (KKM). This research was to intend providing the solutions by applying Bandicam videos in the learning. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes on trigonometric comparison material in right triangles using Bandicam video media in class X Mia SMAN 5 Tapung. This study used a quantitative approach with interview observation steps, survey methods and blended learning methods. The research subjects were students of class X MIA SMAN 5 Tapung and the object of this study was the use of videos recorded with the Bandicam application to improve cognitive mathematics learning outcomes. Data collection techniques used tests, observations, and documentation, while data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive data analysis methods. The average score obtained by students at the end of the first cycle was 67.6 with the number of students who reached the KKM as many as 32 students (43.7%), then at the end of the second cycle the average value of students increased to 77.4 and as many as 32 students scored reaching the KKM (87.5%). By increasing the KKM results obtained after learning using Bandicam video media, the cognitive learning outcomes of students are increased.

The 21st-century biology learning requires technology-based learning which is potential in improving students’ learning outcomes. This research aimed to examine the validity and effectiveness of web-based learning media on Archaebacteria and Eubacteria on learning process. This web-based learning media was structured by using 4-D Thiagarajan model. The research was conducted at three SSHSs of Samarinda. The data were obtained from validators’ (media expert, material expert, and linguist), teachers’, and students’ opinion by using questionnaire; while the effectiveness was determined based on students’ test score and their response. The results showed that the web-based learning media was very valid with the average score from experts as high as 95.27%. Moreover, this media has been proven to improve the student’s cognitive learning outcomes (gain score 0.39) and well responded by both teachers and students.

The aims of this study are to determine the differences in students’  learning interest, to know the differences in the level of students’ learning independence,  to know the  differences in achievements of cognitive learning outcomes of students who learn conventionally and those who  learn  using  blended learning method. The type of this research is quasi experiment with pretest-posttest controlled group design. Control class learn conventionally while experimental classes learn in blended learning, which is a conventional learning process combined with online learning, by utilizing the application of Quipper school. Students’ learning interest in control class before the learning process gets an average value of 118.74 while after the learning process gets an average value of 123.78. As for the experimental class, before the learning process gets an average value of 119.89 while after the learning process gets an average score of 131.21. For the level of students’ learning independence of the control class during the learning process gets an average score of 28.5 while for the experimental class during the learning process gets an average score of 35.1. So there is a difference of 6.6 between the control class and the experimental class. The students’ cognitive learning outcomes of the control class before the learning process gets an average score of 40.3, while after the learning process gets an average score of 58.67. As for the experimental class, before the learning process gets an average score of 42.29 while after the learning process gets an average score of 76.71. So the increase of control class is 18,37 while experiment class is 34,43.

Local wisdom-based science learning modules are one of the science learning models that are oriented to the integration of the values of community local wisdom into science learning material. The aim of the study was to develop a science learning module based on the local wisdom of Sembalun Village to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of junior high school students. The research is a development research with a 4-D model design consisting of 4 stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research instruments included local wisdom observation sheets, expert validation sheets, learning comprehension observation sheets, cognitive learning outcomes tests, and student response questionnaire sheets. Data collection techniques used is local wisdom observation techniques, validation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results of the study stated that the interview results obtained a total score of 62% with good categories. The modules that have been developed are then validated by 2 expert lecturers, with an average score of 3.70 with valid / non-revised categories. Implementation of learning (RPP) with an overall average score of 89.9% with a very good category. Cognitive learning outcomes of students in the small scale readability test with the N-Gain value of 0.36 with the medium category. Response of students with an overall average score of 3.47 in the good category. The results of the study can be concluded that the local wisdom based science learning module can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of VII class Mts Al-Banun students.

 This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of concept attainment learning model to increase cognitive learning outcomes. The research method used is pre-experimental design with intact group comparison design. The research subjects were students of class XI SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru, in which class XI IPA4 was an experimental class and class XI IPA5 was a control class. The experimental class uses a concept attainment learning model and a control class with a conventional learning. The data was obtained from cognitive learning outcomes test which given to students after the learning process was carried out. Data were analyzed descriptively to provide an overview of students cognitive learning outcomes including students absorption and learning effectiveness on indication of global warming material. The research result obtained were the average of students absorption ability in the experimental class was 76,94% and 68,33% for control class. Thus, can be concluded that the implementation of the concept attainment learning model was effective to increase student cognitive learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru on the subject of global warming.

A research has been conducted to develop a physic learning media in form of android-based pocket book. We designed Harmonic Oscillation pocket book and test its feasibility and effectiveness in improving cognitive learning outcomes of students. This study using research and development method adapted from ADDIE model. The results revealed that this software has been successfully developed and is very feasible to be used as a physics learning media. This Android-based Harmonic Oscillation pocket book is effective in enhancing students cognitive learning outcomes and students showed positive tendency response toward the software.

The background of this research is that some teachers only know the term regional potential but cannot explain the exact meaning of dar regional potential-based learning. So that the teacher has not been able to pour it in a learning process that is supported by a learning model cooperative to improve learning outcomes. Hence this study aims to: 1) To develop regional potential-based learning tools through guided inquiry, 2) To find out the feasibility of developing war equipment regional potential-based learning through guided inquiry to improve Cognitive learning outcomes of Biology Science students at SMP Negeri 2 Tenggarong Seberang. 3) For know the effectiveness of regional potential-based learning tools through guided inquiry to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of Science Biology Junior High School Students Negeri 2 Tenggarong Seberang. This development research refers todevelopment steps with the Thiagarajan model. By design The development is grouped into 3 development procedures includes: (a) the define stage (definition), (b) the design stage (design), and (c) the stage development (development). Product testing consists of validation tests that are carried out by learning device experts and linguists as well as device feasibility testing learning. Collecting data using observation guidelines and questionnaires for device experts, languages and practitioners an average of 61,07 with qualifications less worthy to be 89,76 with very decent qualifications, which means this device is very feasible to use. This research resulted in (1) regional potential-based learning tools through guided inquiry, (2) the resulting devices increased the results. students' cognitive learning with the difference in the percentage gain score test of the control class and experimental class with very good category 11%, good 14% and enough well -25%. The average value of student learning outcomes for the control class was 44,78 to be 78,14, while the average value for the experimental class was 54,5 to 82,32. As has been proven that the value of class learning outcomes experiment is higher than the control class can be seen in the independent t-testl sig.2-tailed with a number of 0,030 < 0,05. Comparison of t count to the t table of 2,234>1,70329. This proves a learning tool based on regional potential through guided inquiry to improve learning outcomes Cognitive Science Biology effectively used by students of SMP Negeri 2 Temggarong Seberang
