As mobile communication becomes more pervasive, there is an increasing need to study the potential uses of wireless organizational communication. The difficulty in analyzing information and communication technology (ICT) in organizational communication is the unintentional split between information processes perspectives and human communication perspectives in the discussions of workplace technology. By merging two constructs, organizational informatics and organizational sensemaking, this paper develops a communicative organizational informatics (COI) framework, which provides a robust perspective on how people communicate through the uses of technology in organizational settings. This communicative informatics framework offers a powerful lens to study the meanings, understandings, uses and gratifications, and potentials of technology in organizations and how it can facilitate workplace communication. A COI analysis of a personal digital assistant (PDA), a Palm VII, with a live wireless connection to a company sales database is examined by applying a usability testing methodology.

Nowadays technology is developing very fast, including information and communication technology. For that we need fast steps in following it. Information and communication technology has entered all aspects of life, including the business world. This is because the work assisted by information technology can minimize errors and even losses that will occur. Warna Print is a company engaged in the printing sector, which serves banner designs and banner printing and is currently facing problems in the field of ordering. The banner ordering system used in Warna Print is still done conventionally. For example, in recording orders, making order invoices to taking orders and transaction reports, they still rely on recording on notes. This of course can cause loss or damage to the order data and sales transactions. With the design of this application will be able to help expedite the transaction process on Color Print. The design of this application uses the Netbeans IDE with the Java programming language and the MySQL database program. This application has guaranteed security, because only owners and employees who have a username and password can access this application. In addition, the error rate in recording orders is very small, because each customer receives a different transaction number, so as to minimize errors on the transaction report.

Entrepreneurship is gaining recognition as an important way of attaining a sustainable competitive advantage and positive financial returns. This article compares the entrepreneurial intensity (EI) of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies with that of listed JSE companies (excluding ICT listings). A cross-section telephone survey was conducted. The findings suggest that ICT companies are more entrepreneurial than JSE companies. Additionally, the size of a company shows no relation to EI, but age is negatively correlated to EI. By implication, the older the company, the less entrepreneurial it becomes. The findings suggest that organisational factorsinfluence EI and that EI is industry specific. The managerial implication for companies that want to become more entrepreneurial is that they should create organisational conditions conducive to the development of corporate entrepreneurship.

The rapid development of science and advances in advanced technology have implications for the rhythms of human communication. A very striking implication is that people are increasingly free and easy (easy access) in obtaining information and knowledge, including in the field of education. The global education environment is seen in several ways to provide solutions to other gaps and problems through the soaring distributed learning opportunities. Learning process activities with the help of information and communication technology take place not only applied limited by space, location or level of education such as at school or college, but can be done in many different places and involve a lot of people. Learning methods from learners that are not limited to time and place are called information and communication technology based learning. Learning media that can be used in distance learning are: computers, television, radio, internet, voice recordings, and VCD tapes.

Although virtual organizations and networks have been studied, there is still need for research regarding their inner dynamics and the mechanisms of leadership and governance. This paper investigates micro-political processes i.e. informal actions of individual actors to gain power and exert influence, which is a well-researched concept in traditional organizations with respect to inter-organizational networks. This study investigates structures and strategies of power within virtual networks. Results show that micro-political tactics known from research in traditional organizations are used in inter-organizational settings. Additional micro-political tactics, specific to virtual networks, are identified. The latter are related to the use of information and communication technology (ICT). A second quantitative study surveyed 359 members of inter-organizational networks on their use of micro-political tactics. Results confirm that micro-political strategies are widely used in virtual networks. The degree of virtuality was associated with the use of certain tactics. Possible implications for the structure and governance of virtual networks and the design of the technology that is used to support virtual cooperation are discussed.

This change is when information and communication technology is used to reach the highest point in the use of digital technology. The Industrial Era 4.0 has had a rapid impact on all activities carried out in the industrial sector and company organizational organizations. The higher the information and communication technology used, the faster the information delivery process will be. A fast information process can help the smooth running of administrative activities in a company or organization, especially administrative activities related to correspondence activities. In managing incoming and outgoing letters at the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) at Mohammad Husni Thamrin University, currently there are shortcomings that are still stored and recorded in making correspondence. This can result in information being presented too late. It is that the need for a technology that will help of the smooth running of the administration in making correspondence by writing letters at the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) at Mohammad Husni Thamrin University. Making a letter application is done quickly and easily by using UML (Unfied Modeling Language) as a tool that helps analyze the flow of the correspondence system and makes it easier to build applications that are needed as well as in the development process. With the help of MySQL as a database, Bootstrap Framework and using the PHP programming language. Keywords: Design, Letter, UML, Codeigniter, Bootstrap
