O presente artigo apresenta os efeitos gerados a partir da concepção e implantação de um planejamento estratégico de tecnologia da informação no Poder Judiciário do Estado do Espírito Santo(PJES). Para coleta dos dados e análise de resultados foram realizadas pesquisas documentais em relatório de auditoria realizado pelo Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ). O artigo buscou evidências no relatório que corroborem com as possíveis melhorias apontadas por autores da área que tangenciam a Governança de TI. Essas melhorias não foram constatadas documentalmente e as razões e consequências foram explicitadas no artigo, que apesar de ser um estudo de caso interno ao PJES, aponta resultados e fatores geradores aparentemente comuns e que podem possibilitar ao estudo servir de referência para aplicação de melhores práticas de Governança de TI em outros tribunais do judiciário brasileiro. This paper analyses the impact from conception and implementation of a information technology strategic plan in the Court of the State of Espírito Santo (PJES). For data collection and analysis of results were conducted documentary research in the audit report conducted by the National Council of Justice (CNJ). The article had sought evidence in the report to corroborate with possible improvements as pointed out by IT governance area authors. These improvements were not found by documentary evidence and the reasons and consequences were explained in the article, which despite being a case study only in PJES, points out results and organizational characteristics seemingly ordinary what may allow the study serve as a reference in application of IT governance best practices in other courts of the Brazilian judiciary

Relatively new in Romania, IT governance is defined as procedures and policies established in order to assure that the IT system of an organization sustains its goals and strategies. This bundle of policies and procedures, following the best practices in the area, intends to guide and control the IT function in order to add value to the organization and to minimize IT risks. The purpose of the research is to identify the measure in which the IT governance practices are implemented to the level of the financial institutions in Romania. The goal of this paper is a comparative analysis for implementing IT governance using data offered by the IT Governance Institute. This institute makes every year a study (IT Governance Global Status Report – 2006) to determine a sense of priorities and to develop actions for implementing IT governance, using data which acknowledges once more the need for all organizations to have tools and services to assure an efficient IT governance. In this way, the research will analyze, in the field of Romanian financial institutions, the most serious IT problems pointed out by the respondents from the last year, the most efficient measures considered by top management for resolving problems pointed out, the best used practices in IT governance and the most used frameworks for implementing IT governance practices.

In accordance with the Design Science percepts, the authors present in this paper an approach that aims to give a holistic unifying framework that ensures consistency and coherence between the existing IT governance approaches and mechanisms. It considers the advances and best practices suggested by COBIT ITIL, etc. Therefore, it proposes an operational implementation and instantiation of information system of IT governance based on SOA architecture. It meets the requirements posed by gaps in the research on IT governance, which have been proven by the literature study. as well as the managerial problems highlighted by a two-year in-depth case study conducted inside one of the largest telecommunication operators in Europe. The relevance and feasibility of this approach have been proven by the implementation of this approach in a another two-year in-depth action research case study inside another large European telecommunications operator.

Neste artigo relata-se um estudo que buscou compreender em que medida a participação de estudantes da graduação como mediadores nas diversas atividades de um projeto extensionista da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES), o Show de Física, impactou em seus respectivos processos formativos. Trata-se de um projeto de extensão universitária que tem o objetivo de despertar o interesse e a curiosidade dos estudantes e promover a divulgação da ciência Física. Entende-se essa pesquisa como sendo de cunho qualitativo e de caráter exploratório. Para a produção dos dados, os mediadores que participaram da atividade extensionista foram convidados a narrar suas experiências no Show de Física. A partir do retorno de 21 participantes, utilizou-se os pressupostos da Análise Textual Discursiva para interpretar as contribuições dessa atividade para o desenvolvimento pessoal, profissional e acadêmico desses graduandos. Os resultados apontam aprendizagens do ponto de vista atitudinal (como a importância do trabalho em equipe e das relações interpessoais), profissional (domínio do conteúdo subjacente aos experimentos e a criação e valorização de uma identidade profissional), de enculturação acadêmica (como o desenvolvimento da escrita acadêmica, a coleta e análise de dados e a participação em congressos) e ainda uma satisfação pessoal em participar do projeto Show de Física. Palavras-chave: Divulgação Científica; Experimentos; Atividade Extensionista; Aprendizagens Atitudinal e Profissional   Physics Show: contributions to personal, academic and professional formation of mediators Abstract: This article reports a study aimed at understanding to what extent the participation of undergraduate students as mediators in the various activities of the extension project “The Physics Show” at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), impacted their respective formative processes. It is a university extension project that aims to arouse the interest and curiosity of students and promote the dissemination of physical science. This research was qualitative and exploratory. For the obtaining data, the mediators who participated in the extension activity were invited to narrate their experiences at the Physics Show. The assumptions of Textual Discursive Analysis were used to interpret the contributions to professional and academic development, from the response of 21 participants to the survey. The results suggested learning from an attitudinal point of view (such as the importance of teamwork, interpersonal relationships), professional (mastery of the content underlying the experiments, and the creation and valorization of professional identity), academic enculturation (such as the development of academic writing, data collection and analysis, participation in congresses), and personal satisfaction in participating in the Physics Show Project. The goal of the study was to analyze the effect of granting financial incentives to teachers in relation to the performance of students from full-time schools of Espírito Santo. A method of matching was used by means PSM (propensity score matching) and then a Tobit regression to analyze the exam scores of the SAEB (National Basic Education Assessment System) in 2017. The results found showed that there is a positive association and related between the BD (Bonificação por Desempenho) program and the Portuguese and mathematics grades of third-year high school students from full-time schools in Espírito Santo. The work concludes by explaining that the success of the program to the reduction in absenteeism and the decrease in teacher turnover.

Analisa a ambiência da Biblioteca Universitária e as percepções em torno de sua concepção no Sistema Integrado de Bibliotecas da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo - UFES. Para tal, o estudo busca para estudo de caso o sistema de bibliotecas do multicampi da UFES no Estado do Espírito Santo. Utiliza pesquisa do tipo exploratório-descritiva com abordagem de natureza descritiva. Os resultados indicam que a política de indexação é fundamental para a rentabilização do fluxo de informação, por meio da organização e da representação da informação. Conclui que a biblioteca poderá e deverá estabelecer a sua política de indexação com base na necessidade do seu usuário a fim de permitir uma recuperação em menor tempo e com nível de precisão adequado ao usuário.Palavras-Chave: Biblioteca universitária. Recuperação da informação. ABSTRACT: It analyzes the ambience of the University Library and the perceptions around its conception in the Integrated Library System of the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo - UFES. To this end, the study seeks for a case study of the UFES multicampi library system in the State of Espírito Santo. It uses exploratory-descriptive research with a descriptive approach. The results indicate that the indexing policy is fundamental for the profitability of the information flow, through the organization and representation of the information. It concludes that the library can and should set its indexing policy based on the needs of its user in order to allow faster retrieval and user-specific accuracy.Keywords: University library. This paper uses a case-study approach to describe how organizational characteristics may influence program outcomes in humanitarian aid situations. Organizational structure and human resource management are discussed as organizational factors that influence the vulnerabilities of clients and employees. Interview and archival data from a program on reintegrating refugee and internally displaced women and girl survivors of sexual violence in Sierra Leone and observations based on the author’s experience with the organization provides a relevant basis for isolating the firm as an important context within which refugee programs are embedded.
