Intelligent schools have faced many challenges and little research has been conducted to review the challenges of developing these schools. There are models for solving the challenges and barriers to the implementation and development of such schools, but still the challenge of infrastructure is considered as the most fundamental challenge in the development of intelligent schools. In this paper, a model is proposed to solve the problem of infrastructure in the development of intelligent schools by identifying important features based on the existing features regarding the creation of intelligent schools. This model was evaluated by ten experts in the implementation of intelligent schools. The proposed model can be used to improve the problems of infrastructure in the process of creation and implementation of intelligent schools. Doi: 10.28991/HEF-2021-02-03-03 Full Text: PDF

Purpose – The aims of this paper are: to identify the dimensions of knowledge management (KM), and to propose a model for KM that will be useful for future researchers in carrying out KM measurement. Design/methodology/approach – The paper is based on a literature review of theoretical and empirical contributions to KM. Findings – The results obtained show that the creation, transfer and storage, and implementation and use are dimensions of the concept of KM. On the basis of these dimensions, this study proposes a model integrating these dimensions and operationalizes it using selected items, so that future researchers may carry out measurements using the proposed model. Practical implications – The study implies that companies and researchers use a smaller time in theoretical checks and can devote to measurements which develop improvements. Originality/value – The present model differs from other, previous models in that it integrates various approaches to the study of KM.

Purpose This paper aims to provide an overview of the emergence of resource discovery systems and services along with their advantages and best practices including current landscapes. It reports the development of a resource discovery system by using the “VuFind” software and describes other technological tools, software, standards and protocols required for the development of the prototype. Design/methodology/approach This paper describes the process of integrating VuFind (resource discovery tool) with Koha (integrated library system), DSpace (repository software) and Apache Tika (as full-text extractor for full-text searching), etc. Findings The proposed model performs like other existing commercial and open source Web-scale resource discovery systems and is capable of harvesting resources from different subscribed or external sources replacing a library’s OPAC. Originality/value This discovery system is an important add-on to designing a one-stop access in place of the existing retrieval silos in libraries. This system is capable of indexing a variety of content within and beyond library collections. This work may help library professionals and administrators in designing their discovery system, as well as vendors to improve their products, to provide different library-friendly services.

MicroRNAs are non-coding molecules that play a significant role in the development of the disease. MicroRNAs can act as biomarkers or independently lead to the development of a disease. Due to the large numbers of microRNAs, most of the current works focus on the creation of a new way of microRNA clustering or grouping. Today, there are a huge number of different databases that distribute open microRNAs into groups. The problem is that there is no way to evaluate such databases and created clusters. In this work, we propose a new method for assessing the distribution of microRNAs in a cluster, which in the future can be used to predict new sequential ones capable of causing disease. The proposed method can also be used for a better understanding of the mechanisms of various diseases. Since cardiovascular diseases rank first in terms of the number of deaths, they were chosen as the analyzed ones. The Human microRNA Disease Database was used as an analyzed database in this work. The obtained results show that the proposed method can analyze the created databases and can be used in further practice. The proposed model makes it possible to predict new microRNAs for given diagnoses.

Abstract More and more organizations in various fields apply the principles of the Industry 4.0 philosophy. The result, among other benefits, is the acquisition of a large amount of data. Data can be of great importance to them in terms of decision support, analysis and, last but not least, as a resource for simulations and computer models. Currently, various approaches and software applications can be used to create models. One of the applications that allows the creation of computer models in various fields is Matlab. Diversity of use is ensured by different sets of tools, which are specifically focused on individual areas and thus provide the necessary tools. In the presented paper we focus on the possibilities of using fuzzy approach in the design of a computer model in the field of heating with the tools of the Fuzzy Logic Controller toolbox. The basis for creating the model will be historical data obtained from the real object. The individual tools of the toolbox, the creation and presentation of rules will be described, as well as the connection of the proposed model with the Simulink environment.

The developing trend toward mainstreaming combined with increasing class size and decreasing numbers of teaching positions demands the creation of new kinds of educational programs for troubled children. A model that is based on ecological theory and on community education is described and some significant differences between special education and community special education are noted. Finally, major implications of the proposed model for training, research, and classroom and school operations are presented.

Objective: To analyze phases that involve the process of creating environmentally sustainable enterprises. Method: Qualitative approach with an exploratory and descriptive purpose. A multi-case study strategy was employed, carried out with five micro-enterprises located in the state of Paraná. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and observed under documental analysis. Originality/Relevance: Evidenced by the scarcity of studies investigating how the sustainable environmental entrepreneurial process occurs, the present study can be seen as an initial effort to help fill this gap. Results: The evidence demonstrated that the sustainable environmental entrepreneurial process as a multifaceted phenomenon, admitting different configurations depending on the profile of the individual who undertakes a venture, motivations for business creation, central proposal of the created enterprise and development context. Theoretical/methodological contributions: Proposition of a specific structure in the field of environmental sustainable entrepreneurship that which allows for recursion between the phases and / or the non-coverage of any of them in the creation of an enterprise of this nature. Social contributions: The proposed model can guide new entrepreneurs in the creation of an environmentally sustainable enterprise.

Current popular abstractive summarization is based on an attentional encoder-decoder framework. Based on the architecture, the decoder generates a summary according to the full text that often results in the decoder being interfered by some irrelevant information, thereby causing the generated summaries to suffer from low saliency. Besides, we have observed the process of people writing summaries and find that they write a summary based on the necessary information rather than the full text. Thus, in order to enhance the saliency of the abstractive summarization, we propose an attentive information extraction model. It consists of a multi-layer perceptron (MLP) gated unit that pays more attention to the important information of the source text and a similarity module to encourage high similarity between the reference summary and the important information. Before the summary decoder, the MLP and the similarity module work together to extract the important information for the decoder, thus obtaining the skeleton of the source text. This effectively reduces the interference of irrelevant information to the decoder, therefore improving the saliency of the summary. Our proposed model was tested on CNN/Daily Mail and DUC-2004 datasets, and achieved a 42.01 ROUGE-1 f-score and 33.94 ROUGE-1, recall respectively. The result outperforms the state-of-the-art abstractive model on the same dataset. In addition, by subjective human evaluation, the saliency of the generated summaries was further enhanced.
