Objective: A survey was conducted for patient satisfaction (PS) in a private hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam using the Tools of Victorian Patient Satisfaction Monitor (VPSM) 2012.Methods: The study obtained feedbacks from patients from December 2013 to Jan 2014. After patients finished their outpatient care at the hospital, they were asked 25 questions following the VPSM. Each question can score from 1-5.Results: In total, 420 patients were interviewed and 396 patients completed the survey. Levels of customer satisfaction about service quality (SQ) were influenced by the VPSM with 6 items (25 score) and Cronbach alpha coefficient’s 0.938, including: (1) Access and Admission, (2) General Patient Information, (3) Treatment and Related Information, (4) Complaints Management, (5) Physical Environment, and (6) Discharge And Follow, with highly Corrected Item-Total Correlation of six constructs of PS (from 0.749 to 0.885). Overall, the level of highly PS in the hospital was explained almost 77.347% what could be achieved. There is no difference in the assessment of the SQ for medical examination under the “Gender” and the “level of education”, but there is a difference in the assessment of the SQ between the “monthly income level” with the model of research.Conclusions: Adjusted research model for the hospital has six constructs of levels of customer satisfaction about SQ is influenced by the VPSM with 6 items (25 score). The VPSM provides feedback on the SQ for medical examination of a private hospital experience from the adult outpatient’s perspective at the developing nation as Vietnam country.

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of service quality, perceived value, and corporate image of the hospital toward inpatient satisfaction of private hospitals in Jabodetabek.  This study is categorized as a survey research, where researchers distributed questionnaires to 155 respondents who had been inpatients in private hospitals in Jabodetabek area. The method that used in this research is quantitative method and descriptive analysis. The method used in this research is simple and multiple linear regressions using SPSS v20. The results of this research showed that service quality, perceived value, and corporate image of Private Hospitals in Jabodetabek have significantly affect patient satisfaction on private hospitals in Jabodetabek.

For any private hospital to retain most of their patients they should be able to provide their patients with quality service quality that will convince their patients that the hospital is not just about only the shareholders benefit only. The main aim of this research paper is to examine the impact of extrinsic mechanism of service quality by choosing one of the constructs of the original HEALTHQUAL model (tangible) and add two additional constructs that are corporate social responsibility and collaborative network will have on patient retention in private hospitals in Ghana. The study will also assess the mediating role of trust and patient satisfaction between the extrinsic mechanism of service quality factors and patient retention. The sample size of the study was 880 patients. Data collection was done among inpatient and outpatients of four selected private hospitals Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. The questionnaires used for the study were made up of 26 items that include 13 items on extrinsic mechanism, three items were service quality, two items on trust and 4 items of patient satisfaction were use as mediators of service quality factors and patient retention, lastly, 4 items on Patient retention. The validity and reliability of the data was confirmed. WarpPLS software was use to analysis the data. The study revealed that there is a positive relation between the three of the extrinsic mechanism and service quality. The study also shows that there is significant association between service quality and patient retention. The mediation role of Trust and patient satisfaction also showed positive and statistically significant between the factors of service quality and patient retention. This study recommends that if private hospitals involve themselves in corporate social responsibilities and collaborative network activities they will win more patients to their hospital and even retain them. This study also suggest that in order to retain most of your patients at your private hospital, the hospital should be equipped with modernizes medical equipment and also the environment of the hospital should be very attractive. This paper further stress that trust and patient satisfaction should be the benchmark of every private hospitals to retain their patients.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to examine the formation of wellness perceptions and satisfaction from antecedents that explain various attributes regarding service quality perceptions about doctors by patients. The topic is of contemporary relevance as health-care firms are reengineering their competencies to deliver personalized health services to for unmatched experience to develop long-term relationships with patients.Methods: Responses from 280 patients about service quality attributes of doctors, wellness perceptions, and their satisfaction are collected using a structured questionnaire. An exploratory factor analysis was performed using SPSS. 20 to identify significant dimensions of doctor’s service quality. The theoretical model developed with these dimensions, wellness perceptions, and patient satisfaction was estimated using partial least square-based structural equation modeling approach to test hypotheses about linkages among these constructs.Results: The dimension structure of doctor’s service quality contained constructs such as “price affordability of medicines,” “quality of diagnosis,” “interaction quality of doctor,” “appropriateness of tests prescribed,” and “quality of usage prescriptions.” These service quality dimensions of doctor significantly develop wellness perceptions and satisfaction among patients. Wellness perceptions act as a mediator in satisfaction development.Conclusions: Patient satisfaction and wellness perceptions are of primary importance in improving service quality in health care and to remain competitive. The health-care firms should train their professionals to interact with the patients more efficiently by adhering to the philosophy of patient centeredness in their service process.

Hospital is a comprehensive form of health service institution, includes aspects of promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitation, as well as a public health referral center. Demand on healthcare service theory consists of revenue, visit cost and  service quality. Anuntaloko Regional General Hospital Parigi Moutong Regency is a referral center and regionalization hospital in Central Sulawesi Province, which the number of visits in 2016 to 2018 in a row were 19.186, 10.971 and 12.954. The study was purposed to determined Relation Between Requests for Use of Health Service and Patient Satisfaction on Inpatient Care Unit at Anuntaloko Regional General Hospital Parigi Moutong Regency. This was a quatitative analysis research with the cross sectional study approach. The population was patients on Inpatient Care Unit of Anuntaloko Regional General Hospital which amounted to 12.954 sampels and through purposive sampling technique. Data was analyzed univariate and bivariate variables using Chi-Square Test. The results showed that there are relation between revenue (p=0,002), visit cost (p=0,002) and service quality (p=0,000) with patients satisfaction on Inpatient Care Unit at Anuntaloko Regional General Hospital Parigi Moutong Regency. The Anuntaloko Regional General Hospital Parigi Moutong Regency is expected to observe routinly so that maintaining the service quality of the good things and improving the service quality of the lack variabels.
