ABSTRACT Objective: to carry out translation, cross-cultural adaptation to Portuguese and assess the reliability of the four versions of the Coronary Revascularization Outcome Questionnaire - adapted. Methods: a methodological study of translation and cross-cultural adaptation into Portuguese, as proposed by Beaton et al., and reliability analysis, by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient and item-total correlation of the four versions of the Coronary Revascularization Outcome Questionnaire - adapted. Results: the adaptations made facilitated the understanding of the items. All domains had Cronbach's alpha above 0.70, except two in the post-percutaneous coronary intervention version and two in the post-myocardial surgical revascularization version. All items had item-total correlation values greater than 0.20, except two in the post-percutaneous coronary intervention version, one in the pre-coronary intervention version and six in the post-myocardial surgical revascularization version. Conclusion: the cross-cultural adaptation to Portuguese was considered satisfactory. Pre-procedure versions were considered reliable, while the post-procedures require other psychometric analyses.

Abstract Introduction and hypothesis The Prolapse and Incontinence Knowledge Questionnaire (PIKQ) was developed and validated to assess women’s knowledge regarding etiology, diagnosis and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and urinary incontinence (UI). We aimed to translate and validate a Thai version of the PIKQ to use as a tool to evaluate knowledge of POP and UI among Thai-speaking women. Methods The English PIKQ, which comprises the PIKQ-POP and PIKQ-UI sections, was translated into Thai. Psychometric properties of the final version of the Thai PIKQ were tested for content validity, construct validity, internal consistency and test-retest reliability among 168 women attending a gynecology clinic and 150 nurses. Results Regarding content validity of the final Thai PIKQ, the number of missing items was 0. Participants in the nurse group were more likely than those in the patient group to select the correct answer for all items for the POP scale and UI scale (P < 0.001). For internal consistency testing, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.745 for the PIKQ-POP and 0.754 for the PIKQ-UI scales, suggesting that the items had relatively high internal consistency. The item-total correlation values ranged from 0.204 to 0.539, showing an adequate correlation of each item with the scale overall. The correlation coefficients between the test and retest for PIKQ-POP and PIKQ-UI were 0.685 and 0.735, respectively (P < 0.001). Conclusions The Thai PIKQ is a simple instrument which shows good validity and high reliability and could be a useful tool for assessing knowledge regarding POP and UI in clinical practice.

Abstract. In this work, it is experimentally shown that the weak oscillating magnetic field (known as the “radiation damping” field) caused by the inductive coupling between the transverse magnetization of nuclei and the radio frequency circuit perturbs remote resonances when homo-nuclear total correlation mixing sequences are applied. Numerical simulations are used to rationalize this effect.

Abstract Background Advances in technology and the expansion of nursing roles have led to complex ethical issues in nursing. Nursing students are the future clinical nursing workers and practitioners. The ethical sensitivity of nursing students is very important to the professional development of nursing students, which can strengthen the ethical cognition of nursing students, improve the ethical decision-making ability of nursing students, and is beneficial to the development of nursing students in the process of clinical practice and nursing education. However, there are no instruments to evaluate the ethical sensitivity of nursing students in China. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Chinese version of the Ethical Sensitivity Questionnaire for Nursing Students (ESQ-NS). Methods After obtaining the authorization of the author of the original scale, the study used the Brislin back-translation method for translation. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were performed to examine the underlying factor structure of the translated questionnaire. The Cronbach alpha coefficient, the test-retest reliability, and the corrected item-total correlation were calculated to verify the internal consistency of the scale. Results The Chinese version of ESQ-NS retained 13 items. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) extracts four common factors, and the cumulative variance contribution rate is 62.479%. The CFA reached the adaptive standard, and the discriminant validity of the scale was good. The Cronbach alpha coefficient of this scale was 0.821, and 4 dimensions were between 0.708 and 0.738. The results of the test-retest showed that Pearson’s correlation coefficient of the overall ESQ-NS was 0.814. Corrected item-total correlation ranged from 0.337 to 0.542. Conclusions The Chinese version of the ESQ-NS has good reliability and validity, which can be used to evaluate the level of ethical sensitivity of nursing students in China.

Robotic mobile fulfillment system (RMFS) is a new type of parts-to-picker order picking system, where robots carry inventory pods to stationary pickers. Because of the difference in working mode, traditional storage assignment methods are not suitable for this new kind of picking system. This paper studies the storage assignment optimization of RMFS, which is divided into products assignment stage and pods assignment stage. In the products assignment stage, a mathematical model maximizing the total correlation of products in the same pods is established to reduce the times of pod visits, and a scattered storage policy is adopted to reduce system congestion. A heuristic algorithm is designed to solve the model. In the pods assignment stage, a model is established minimizing the total picking distance of the mobile robots considering the turnover rate and the correlation of pods as well as the workload balance among picking corridors. A two-stage hybrid algorithm combining greedy algorithm and improved simulated annealing is designed to solve the model. Finally, a simulation experiment is carried out based on the historical order data of an e-commerce company. Results show that the storage assignment method proposed in the paper significantly improves the efficiency of order picking.
