Anchovy (Stolephorus spp) is a main target of lift-net fishery, and it is a main income for the fisherman for long time in Saramaake Village, East Halmahera District. Production in a large number with bulky marketing system and a limited processing activity affect a limited economical value for the community of the village. This community empowerment activities had been done for 6 months, from June–December 2017, aimed to develop the anchovy product and the certification. Methods used in this activity were training and mentoring. Objective targets of the activity were fishermen and fisherman’s wife which are members of Common Business Group and cooperation. Some activities have been done for product development (chili sauce packaged anchovy and labelling) and product certification (certification of halal from the Institute Assessment of Food, Drug and Cosmetics Indonesian Council of Ulama and certification of food of Household Industry from Public Health Service Office in District of East Halmahera). Based on the result of training and mentoring, the object community had gained a knowledge and technology related to the fish processing and certification. Certified marine product have a wider market and marketable in some shops in Ternate and Buli.

The potential of the economic sector of the community in the village of Buluh China, Siak Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar which has potential fisheries. The system of processing fish into salted fish products carried out through fish preservation by drying methods has long been practiced by fish preservative entrepreneurs. In particular, fish drying activities have long been a livelihood for salted fish processing communities in Buluh China village, Siak Hulu Sub-District, Kampar. However, in general, the process of preserving fish through drying methods by relying solely on sunlight is not optimal. The process of drying fish in Buluh China village, Siak Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar is still traditionally carried out, which is dried in the sun. This process takes a long time, it takes time in drying fish 2 to 4 days and that too depends on the sun. The purpose of this activity is to apply biomass-based drying technology for salted fish production. The method used is to make a dryer, biomass burning furnace, drying room (box). The results of this service show high enthusiasm from the community where salted fish production can be obtained in just 1.5 hours with temperatures in the drying chamber reaching 35 to 40 degrees Celsius.

Real Work Lecture Program-Community Empowerment Learning (KKN-PPM) STIKES Bhakti Pertiwi Luwu Raya Palopo is one of the community service activities carried out routinely by universities. The KKN PPM concept is intended to change the concept of "working for the community" to "working with the community". In addition, to improve its contextualization, KKN-PPM is carried out by changing the development paradigm into an empowerment paradigm. Purpose: The KKN-PPM activities are aimed at empowering and fostering the community to live healthy so that the health status of the village community can be fulfilled. The KKN-PPM implementation program is carried out using two models: the eco-e-development model, and the Center for Environment and Societal model. KKN-PPM activities have produced simple air filters in each hamlet in the village of Loeha with basic materials that can be obtained by residents in the village of Loeha. The incidence of diarrhea decreased or was not included in the list of most diseases in the working area of Bantilang Public Health Center. Increased knowledge and skills of the community about clean water sanitation management technology. It is expected that the level of public health in the village of Loeha can improve. Increase the soul of clean and healthy life, so that they can utilize a larger air source than a clean air source to save community life. The people of Loeha Village are very responsive to this activity, specifically, in making simple clean air filtration, this is evidenced by the considerable number of people present.

Institutional Local Communities are local community institutions that are built andstrengthened according to the needsof the community in a process of social transformationthat is rooted, acknowledged and accepted by the community. The process of information dissemination is a strategic study in information and communication science since a successful information dissemination process will enable to provide significant multiplying effects. This research aimed to identify community empowerment activities in the dissemination of health information to improve the quality of public health in Margajaya village, Ngamprah, West Bandung Regency. The study used a qualitative case study method, by collecting data through observation, unstructured interviews, and literature review. The dissemination of health information used an education strategy in its activities, namely the behavior change through means of education or health promotion, which are efforts or processes to foster awareness, willingness and ability to maintain and improve health. There was involvement of community empowerment agents who received training from relevant agencies, joined voluntarily and committed to participate in health development. The ex-tattoo community is a community that engages in the dissemination of health information. In addition to disposing of its negative image in the village, the community seeks to become a part of empowerment in improving the quality of public health.
