Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver due to a viral infection that attacks and causes damage to cells and the function of the liver. Many methods are currently used in building expert systems, including Certainty Factor and Dempster Shafer. The selection of both Certainty Factor and Dempster Shafer methods is very suitable for expert systems. In the previous study there was the Certainty Factor method used to diagnose hepatitis but there was no accuracy, whereas in Dempster Shafer there was an accuracy rate of 90%. This study aims to find out the suitable method to diagnose hepatitis by comparing the method of Certainty Factor and Dempster Shafer. In this study the application is in the form of a mobile base using Android Studio and database storage with MySQL. After that, do the Application Validation Test with experts and accuracy testing is carried out using samples from expert diagnosis results. The results of the test obtained the accuracy of the test using the Certainty Factor method is 95%. While the accuracy of testing using the Dempster Shafer method is 90%.

The low production of smallholder rubber is caused by various factors, one of the causes is interference from various diseases. Building a system (computer) that is intelligent to analyze problems, observe the work system of an expert or expert. Expertise comes from the development of knowledge of someone who is competent and directly provides instructions to solve a problem. Certainty Factor is a method to prove whether a fact is certain or not certain in the form of metrics that are usually used in expert systems. This method is very suitable for expert systems that diagnose something that is uncertain. To apply the Certainty Factor method to the expert system, data is needed that will be input into the system, processed and display the results of the diagnosis of rubber plant diseases.  Input: rubber plant disease type data and disease symptom data. Process: carry out analysis and calculation to get the diagnosis results using the Certainty Factor method. Kepribadian adalah sifat dan kebiasaan seseorang yang membedakannya dari orang lain. Identifikasi gangguan kepribadian penting untuk semua orang. Kondisi kepribadian yang mencerminkan kondisi mental yang sehat. Namun, tidak bagi manusia untuk tidak bisa menerima tekanan pada diri sendiri. Dalam beberapa kasus, banyak orang ingin melakukan pengujian dengan sumber daya yang cukup dan verifikasi yang sesuai. Untuk mengatasinya, diperlukan tes validasi untuk metode deteksi cacat. Metode yang mendukung validasi adalah Metode Dempster-Shafer dengan Metode Faktor Kepastian.Analisis validasi dilakukan pada metode Dempster-Shafer dengan metode Certainty Factor karena menimbang nilai kerusakan kedua metode ini diperlukan dari data hipotesis atau perubahan dalam bentuk data simptom. Analisis validasi dilakukan pada nilai bobot yang dihasilkan untuk setiap metode yang diterapkan. Dari hasil analisis validasi, nilai bobot yang diperoleh dengan metode Demp-ster-Shafer dapat menghasilkan nilai bobot yang lebih akurat.

Diseases in plants are something that can happen to many plants either caused by pests or other factors, the disease in plants can be detected based on the symptoms that appear on the plant before spreading to all plants, to recognize the symptoms and types of diseases contained in plants require plant experts or also by applying expert systems with expert knowledge base applied to the system by using certain methods such as certainty factor method. Expected results with the availability of this expert system to the user can help many users to detect diseases in plants.

  Abstract— Central nervous disease is a group of neurological disorders that affect the structure or function of the brain or spinal cord, which collectively form the central nervous system. Society in general there are still many lay people who do not understand nerve health, so many of them ignore the symptoms experienced and may be a symptom of central nervous disease. This may be due to the high cost of consultation, and not to mention doctors who are difficult to find due to time invoices. In various fields the use of technology has developed rapidly, one of which is in the field of health, one of which is the use of expert systems. Expert systems are computer programs that present and reason with the knowledge of several experts to solve problems or provide solutions. The development of technology such as expert systems is of course also supported by methods of diagnosing, such as the Certainty Factor Method. Elephant foot disease or filariasis is a contagious disease caused by filarial worms that are transmitted through the type of mosquito. This disease is chronic and if not get treatment will result in permanent disability in the form of leg enlargement, genitals both women and men. Elephant foot disease is generally detected through blood microcopy examination. Until now it is still felt because microfilaria only appear in the blood at night for several hours (nocturnal perioicity). In addition, various methods of examination are also performed to diagnose elephantiasis diseases such as those known as membrane crawl, knott concentration method and deposition technique. This study identifies elephantiasis and its causes, and applies certainty factor methods and designs expert systems to diagnose elephantiasis. To diagnose elephantiasis by using certainty factor method. Patients will be given questions to obtain probable values and then the values obtained will be solved by certainty factor formulation, so that the diagnosis and percentage is likely to develop elephantiasis.

Expert Systems is a computer systems that has been entered the base knowledge and a set of rules used to solve problems like an expert. Methods that can be used in the expert systems which is Naïve Bayes and Certainty Factor. Naïve Bayes method can handle quantitative calculations and discreate data and only requires a little research data to estimate the parameters needed in the clasification and Certainty Factor which is suitable for measuring something whether it is certain or not in diagnosing. Diabetes is one of the most frequent diseases suffered in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is implementation expert systems used Naïve Bayes and Certainty Factor in diagnosing diabetes and knowing the level of accuracyof the systems. Data that is used by researchers as much 100 data medical record, obtained from the medical record RSUD Bendan Kota Pekalongan. The variabels used in this research is age, gender, the symptoms of the desease diabetes and result diagnose desease from expert. The accuracy rate of this system derived from the scenario distribution data 70 training data and 30 testing data that is equal to 100% according to the doctor's diagnosis.

Information technology that continues to grow can be utilized in the service of human life in the world of health. Infectious disease is a disease that is quite dangerous for children. Delay in treating the disease can cause more severe disease. So that a system that has the ability to diagnose diseases is needed. Expert systems are computer applications that try to adopt human knowledge to computer programs like an expert. Many expert systems have been developed including diagnosing stroke and others. In this study, the expert system was used as a tool to diagnose viral infectious diseases in children. In this study we will discuss the making of expert system applications for infectious viral infections in desktop-based children using the certanty factor (CF) method. This expert system was built to diagnose tropical diseases caused by viral infections. This system provides information about diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Methods of tracking the symptoms of each patient, matching them with existing rules, and producing a diagnosis based on the knowledge base. Knowledge based from this expert system was obtained from several pediatricians and reference books. This expert system application is designed based on desktop and MySQL database as data storage. The resulting output is the value of the possibility of child disease based on the symptoms that have been given by the user. The magnitude of the probability value is the result of calculations using the certainty factor method.

Technological development is growing rapidly among with the increasing of human needs especially in mobile technology where the technology that often be used is android. The existence of this android facilitates the user in access of information. This android can be used for healthy needs, for example is detecting dental disease. One of the branches of computer science that can help society in detecting dental disease is expert system. In this research, making expert system to diagnosis dental disease by using certainty factor method. Dental disease diagnosis application can diagnose the patient based on griping of the patient about dental disease so it can be obtained diseases possibility of the patient itself. This application is an expert system application that operates on android platform. Furthermore, in the measurement accuracy of the system test performed by 20 patients, there were 19 cases of corresponding and 1 cases that do not fit. So, from system testing performed by 20 patients resulted in a 95% accuracy rate.

The skin, which is the largest part  of the human body, is the body's first defense against bacterial and virus attacks. When the skin is exposed to the sun, dry weather, or bacteria, the reaction will spread to other parts of the body, and can even result in death if it is too late to be handled especially if the sufferers are children who are very vulnerable to disease. In this study an expert system was implemented to diagnose skin diseases in infants using the certainty factor method. certainty factor method is very suitable for expert systems that diagnose something that is uncertain. This system makes a diagnosis based on the symptoms felt by the user and then calculates certainty factors based on existing symptoms. Based on the test results by making comparisons between manual calculations and the one carried out by the system it is known that 90.22% of the diagnosis results get the same results so that the system is said to be suitable for use.
