Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran siswa kelas 5 SDN Sidorejo Lor 06 memperlihatkan bahwa kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kritis saat aktivitas belajar mengajar masih rendah dan juga cenderung pasif. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang mempunyai tujuan memperbaiki kapabilitas berpikir kritis murid kelas 5 SD N Sidorejo Lor 06 Salatiga dengan memanfaatkan metode belajar Discovery Learning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 dengan jumlah 19 orang. Teknik perolehan data memanfaatkan lembar observasi, catatan kaki, serta pengukuran kemampuan pemikiran kritis siswa. Teknik analisis data yang dimanfaatkan pada riset ini yakni analisa data kuantatif yang dianalisis memanfaatkan analisis deskriptif. Hasil observasi pra siklus menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 15,79% siswa termasuk kategori berpikir kritis tinggi, 26,32% siswa tergolong dalam kelompok siswa berpikir kritis sedang, 31,58% siswa tergolong dalam kelompok siswa berpikir kritis rendah dan 26,32% siswa tergolong dalam kelompok berpikir kritis sangat rendah. Setelah dilakukan tindakan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Discovery Learning terjadi peningkatan pada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada siklus I menjadi 26,32% pada kategori sangat tinggi, 31,58% pada kategori tinggi, 15,79% kategori sedang, dan 26,32% pada kategori rendah. Kemudian pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan menjadi 42,10% kategori sangat tinggi, 36,84% kategori tinggi, dan 21,05% kategori sedang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model pengajaran Discovery Learning dapat mengasah keterampilan berpikir kritisi siswa kelas 5 di SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 06 Salatiga yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya hasil penelitian dari pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II.

The results showed that the application of the Discovery Learning model can improve critical thinking skills in science. The percentage of critical thinking skills in the very good, good, adequate, and poor categories. In pre-cycle it was 41%, cycle I was 68%, increased in cycle II to 86%, and increased again in cycle III was 95%.</em><em></em></p>

ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas untuk mengimplementasikan modul IPA berbasis etnosains masyarakat Bengkulu melalui Discovery Learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan IPA FKIP Universitas Bengkulu yang mengambil mata kuliah IPA 1. Kegiatan penelitian ini  dilakukan dua siklus dengan dua kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat langkah penelitian yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Perangkat pembelajaran terdiri dari (1) RPP model Discovery Learning; (2) Modul IPA berbasis etnosains Masyarakat Bengkulu materi Pengukuran; (3) LKPD; (4) instrumen penilaian Aktivitas dan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah adanya peningkatan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis  Mahasiswa melalui pre test dan post test.  Pada siklus I,  rata-rata pretes adalah sebesar 71,92 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 6,01 dan postes sebesar 75,77 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 4,75. Pada siklus II, rata-rata pretes adalah sebesar 80,19 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 4,75 dan rata-rata postes sebesar 83,85 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 4,83. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dibandingkan bahwa peningkatan siklus II  lebih besar dibandingkan dengan siklus I. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada siklus I sebesar 58,69 dan siklus II sebesar 63,45. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Modul IPA Berbasis Etnosains Masyarakat Bengkulu melalui Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Kata kunci: Classroom Action Research, Modul, Etnosains, Discovery Learning, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis. ABSTRACT A Classroom Action Research has been carried out to implement a science module based on the ethnoscience of the Bengkulu people through discovery learning to improve the critical thinking skills of students of the Program Studi Pendidikan IPA FKIP Universitas Bengkulu who take the IPA 1 course. This research activity was carried out in two cycles with two meetings. Each cycle consists of four research steps, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The learning tools consist of (1) RPP Discovery Learning model; (2) Science module based on Bengkulu Community ethnoscience measurement material; (3) LKPD; (4) assessment instruments for Critical Thinking Skills and Activities. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results obtained were an increase in students' critical thinking skills through the pretest and posttest. In the first cycle, the average pretest was 71.92 with a standard deviation of 6.01 and post-test was 75.77 with a standard deviation of 4.75. In cycle II, the average pretest was 80.19 with a standard deviation of 4.75 and the average post-test was 83.85 with a standard deviation of 4.83. From these results it can be compared that the increase in cycle II is greater than that of cycle I. The increase in students' critical thinking skills in cycle I is 58.69 and cycle II is 63.45. Abstract This study aims to determine the application of discovery learning learning models to students of class XII IPS.2 Palembang State High School 13. The research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) or Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve and find solutions to real problems in improving the learning process in the classroom. This research has several cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages of interrelated and continuous activities, namely: planning (planning), implementation (acting), observation (observing), and reflection (reflecting). The results of the study showed that using the discovery learning model of learning completeness of students before the action and after the action, namely; cycle I (60.00%), and cycle II (90.00%). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant change in learning outcomes between before and after being given class action by applying discovery learning learning models to students of class XII IPS.2 Palembang 13 Public High School so that this research is considered to be successful. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada peserta didik kelas XII IPS.2 SMA Negeri 13 Palembang. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau Classroom Action Research (CAR) yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki dan mencari solusi dari persoalan yang nyata dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahap kegiatan yang saling terkait dan berkesinambungan yaitu: perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (acting), pengamatan (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning ketuntasan belajar peserta didik sebelum tindakan dan sesudah tindakan yaitu; siklus I (60,00%), dan siklus II (90,00%). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan terdapat perubahan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada peserta didik kelas XII IPS.2 SMA Negeri 13 Palembang sehingga penelitian ini dianggap berhasil dengan baik.

The purpose of study was to determine the ability in comprehending anecdote text through discovery learning method. The subject of this research is the students grade X MIPA 2 SMAN 3 Bengkulu city academic tear 2015/2016. Kind of the research is classroom action research. The data of this research is the ability in comprehending anecdote text and students and teacher’s abservation sheet. Based on the research that discovery learning can increase ability in comprehending anecdote text for the students grade X MIPA 2 SMAN 3 Bengkulu City. The result can be seen in score action research cycle I with the average score 70,42 it is good category and in action research cycle II 80,85 it is the best category. The classical learning achievement in cycle I 48,39% and in cycle II 87,05%, it means that there is significant increase between cycle I and cycle II.

This research aims to increase the learning outcomes of students and the activity of students and teacher by applying Discovery Learning Model. The classroom action research conducted using two cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings.        This study also equipped with teacher activities and student activities, which are assessed using observation sheets while teaching and learning activities take place in class. Activities of students and teacher assessed by the observer. The results obtained, in test I, in the first cycle, 72% of students have achieved completeness, and fall into enough category. While in test 2, in the second cycle, 92% of students have achieved completeness, and fall into the very good predicate. The average learning activieties of students from the first cycle is 74% with enough category and the second cycle with an average of 96% is in the very good category. The average activities of teacher from the first cycle was 77,6% with a good category and the second cycle with an average of 97,5% is in the very good category. Based on the results of the research, it could be concluded that the implementation of the Discovery Learning Model can improve the activity and learning result of students of class VII A MTs Negeri 2 Bengkalis.

<p><em>The background of this classroom action research is the low learning outcomes of science learning in class VI SD Muhammadiyah Sukorejo. Of the 25 grade VI students only 4 children completed (16%) and 21 other children did not complete (84%) measured by the completeness of student learning outcomes (KKM: 65.00). This classroom action research (PTK) consists of two cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting.The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of improvement in science learning outcomes in electrical circuit material. In this study, the action taken was learning using the discovery learning model in science learning with electrical circuit material in class VI SD Muhammadiyah Sukorejo students in semester 1 of the 2020/2021 academic year. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using comparative descriptive by comparing quantitative data from cycle I and cycle II.</em><em> </em><em>Based on the results of the study showed that student learning outcomes from the initial conditions an average value of 61 with completeness of 16%. This condition experienced an increase in the average score of students in the first cycle, which was 69 and the percentage of completeness was 60%. In the second cycle there was an increase of 82 again with a completeness percentage of 88%, so that the predetermined performance indicator of 75% has been achieved.</em><em> </em><em>Thus it can be concluded that the application of discovery learning models in learning can improve science learning outcomes of electrical circuit material in grade VI students of SD Muhammadiyah Sukorejo semester 1 of the 2020/2021 academic year. </em></p>

The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of vocabulary learning achievement by applying the discovery approach of B2 grade students of Mutiara Insani Kindergarten, Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects were students of class B2 even Semester TK Mutiara Insani Bandar Lampung, totaling 20 students. Data obtained from observer observation sheet notes on the learning process planned by the researcher, learning activity sheet, and test sheet to determine learning achievement. The data were analyzed using simple statistics, namely the percentage. The action was carried out from January to March 2019. The results of the study were 65% active cycle 1 learning activity, 75% active cycle II increased 10%, 85% active cycle III, increased 10%. While learning achievement in cycle I completed 65%, cycle II completed 75%, increased by 10%, cycle III completed 95%, increased by 20%, and records of observers who partnered with researchers showed good average criteria. The conclusion of this research is that the application of discovery learning approach can increase vocabulary learning activity and achievement in class B2 students of Mutiara Insani Kindergarten, Bandar Lampung.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas pembelajaran, sikap rasa ingin tahu, dan peduli lingkungan/kesehatan menggunakan model Discovery Learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau Classroom Action Research yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 siklus. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan IPA Pendidikan Dasar semester I pada Prodi S-2 Pendidikan Dasar FKIP UNIB Tahun 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 33 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian lembar pengamatan (observation) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, sikap rasa ingin tahu, dan peduli lingkungan/kesehatan. Analisis data hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, sikap rasa ingin tahu, dan peduli lingkungan/kesehatan dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu: (1) enam langkah pembelajaran menggunakan model diskoveri learning dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. (2) persentase sikap rasa ingin tahu pada siklus I sebesar 53,54% meningkat menjadi 72,73% pada siklus II, dan meningkat menjadi 90,91% pada siklus III. (3) persentase sikap peduli lingkungan/kesehatan pada siklus I sebesar 57,58% meningkat menjadi 60,61% pada siklus II, dan meningkat menjadi 87,88% pada siklus III. Simpulan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran, sikap rasa ingin tahu, dan peduli lingkungan/kesehatan mahasiswa S-2 Pendidikan Dasar FKIP Unib dalam perkuliahan IPA Pendidikan Dasar. Saran yang diberikan kepada guru dan atau peneliti selanjutnya sebagai berikut: (1) dalam menerapkan model Discovery Learning kunci utama dari sintaks adalah tahap stimulasi karena dapat berdampak pada efektifnya langkah diskoveri learning selanjutnya. (2) Kepada peneliti selanjutnya dan praktisi di SD disarankan menerapkan model diskoveri learning, karena dapat berkontribusi dalam mewujudkan tercapainya tujuan pendidikan IPA di Sekolah Dasar.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreativitas belajar Biologi dengan menggunakan model Discovery Learning pada siswa  kelas  XI MIA-1 SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research).  Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Setiap pertemuan terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu  perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Siswa yang dijadikan subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2016- 2017 pada semester ganjil, dan peneliti menggunakan sampel kelas XI MIA-1 yang berjumlah 38 siswa, yang terdiri dari 20 siswa putri dan 18 siswa putra. Tekhnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi serta catatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan  dengan metode  analisis deskriptif  kualitatif yaitu dengan membandingkan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi pada siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam belajar biologi yang dapat dilihat dari: hasil penilaian kreativitas siklus I pertemuan pertama 51 %, pada pertemuan ke dua 63 %. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama 75 % dan pertemuan kedua menjadi 81,3%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Biologi.

This action research is based on the implementation Guided Discovery Learning (GDL) in the 2013 curriculum (K13) for education in Indonesia. Beside that the minimum completeness criteria, for space analytic geometry in Suryakancana University, has not been achieved yet. The aim of this study was to improve the mathematical conceptual understanding of students who were taking lectures on space analytic geometry. The sample consisted of two classes with many students of 19 and 22 respectively. This classroom action research was completed in two cycles. In the second cycle, the class absorption of each class was 78.95% and 77.27%. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of the GDL model can improve the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts, especially in the analytic geometry of space subject, and in general students provide a positive response to learning with the GDL model.
