Media refers to the channels of communication through which we distribute news, education, movies, music, advertising messages and other information. It includes physical and online newspapers and magazines, television, radio, telephone, the Internet, fax and billboards, are a dominant force in lives of children. Although television is remaining the predominant medium for children and adolescents, the new technologies are become more popular. We have to concern about the potential harmful effects of media "messages and images"; however, the positive and negative effects of media should be recognized. Parents have to establish the plan for all media in family home. Media that are influences on children should be recognized by "schools, policymakers, product advertisers, and entertainment producers".

BACKGROUND Due to the religious proscription, it was found that Arab youths acquire information and view pornography secretly. The internet exposes them to contents that contradict religious and cultural taboos. There are few studies about viewing habits of sexual contents among Arab adolescents and about the way they discuss sexuality. OBJECTIVE to characterize the barriers and difficulties that prevent sexual discourse in Arab society and enable pornography viewing, according to the perceptions of adolescents and mothers. METHODS phenomological qualitative research methods, in-depth interviews with 40 participants. 20 Arab adolescents, sampled by two age groups: 14-16 and 16-18. In addition, 20 mothers of adolescents from both sexes were interviewed. RESULTS The findings indicate that mothers “turn a blind eye” to porn viewing and sexual activity by boys, versus a sweeping prohibition and denial of such behavior by girls. The boys reported viewing porn routinely, whereas girls denied doing so, but admitted that their girlfriends watched porn. The study also found that the boys have guilt feelings during and after the viewing as a result of the clash between modernity and traditional values. CONCLUSIONS It is necessary to find a way to encourage a significant sexual discourse to prevent the violent consequences of its absence in Arab society. A controlled, transparent and critical sexual discourse could help youth make more informed decisions concerning the search for sexual contents, porn viewing and sexual behavior.

Abstract The Internet Archive curated a 90-terabyte sub-collection of captures from the US government's public website domain (‘.gov’). Such archives provide largely untapped resources for measuring attributes, behaviors and outcomes relevant to political science research. This study leverages this archive to measure a novel dimension of federal legislators' religiosity: their proportional use of religious rhetoric on official congressional websites (2006–2012). This scalable, time-variant measure improves upon more costly, time-invariant conventional approaches to measuring legislator attributes. The authors demonstrate the validity of this method for measuring legislators' public-facing religiosity and discuss the contributions and limitations of using archived Internet data for scientific analysis. This research makes three applied methodological contributions: (1) it develops a new measure for legislator religiosity, (2) it models an improved, more comprehensive approach to analyzing congressional communications and (3) it demonstrates the unprecedented potential that archived Internet data offer to researchers seeking to develop meaningful, cost-effective approaches to analyzing political phenomena.


The Internet has become the backbone of remote communications, networking, and computing. It offers an incentive platform for many services and applications. People’s lives have been dramatically changed by the fast growth of the Internet. However, it also provides an easy channel for distributing contents that are unwanted by users. Unwanted traffic includes malware, viruses, spam, intrusions, unsolicited commercial advertisements, or unexpected contents. This chapter discusses applying trust management technology to automatically conduct unwanted traffic control in the Internet, especially the mobile Internet. The authors propose a generic unwanted traffic control solution through trust management. It can control unwanted traffic from its source to destinations in a personalized manner according to trust evaluation at a Global Trust Operator and traffic and behavior analysis at hosts. Thus, it can support unwanted traffic control in both a distributed and centralized manner and in both a defensive and offensive way. Simulation-based evaluation shows that the solution is effective with regard to accuracy and efficiency for Botnet intrusion and DDoS intrusion via reflectors. It is also robust against a number of malicious system attacks, such as hide evidence attack, bad mouthing attack, on-off attack, malicious attack of ISP, and combinations, which are playing in conjunction with various traffic intrusions. Meanwhile, the solution can provide personalized unwanted traffic control based on unwanted traffic detection behaviors. A prototype system is implemented to illustrate its applicability for SMS spam control.

<p><em>Today’s Indonesian youth consider Pancasila a history and a foundation. It effect to the reducing sense of nationalism in their souls, moreover with the lack of effectiveness in learning and understanding the values of Pancasila. Young Generation is a translation of young generation instead old age. Youth means the population of teenagers or young people who are still developing. Generation Z are those who are born after the internet era- generations who enjoyed the technology after the birth of the internet. This generation can be said as people who have grown up or have jobs and other things that can affect the economy, politics and social life in the world today. Generation Z as stated by Aulia Adam, 28 April 2017, in this world, there has never been a generation that was born familiar with technology. This is the cause of the rapid influence of today’s  technological globalization, So, as the solution is through cooperation between government, parents and educational institutions to continue to oversee the actions and behavior of the younger generation accompanied by providing understanding and directing to the values of Pancasila.</em><em> </em><em>The writing method in this study is literature method.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong><strong><em>:</em></strong><em> Young generation, Deviations of the Pancasila values, the fading of the Pancasila, gadgets, the Millennial Era.</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p>Saat sekarang ini pemuda bangsa Indonesia menganggap Pancasila sebuah sejarah dan Dasar negaranya sehingga menurunkan rasa nasionalisme dalam jiwanya, ditambah lagi dengan kurangnya efektifitas dalam pembelajaran dan pemahaman akan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Generasi Muda adalah terjemahan dari young generation lawan dari <em>old age</em>. <em>Youth</em> mengandung arti populasi remaja atau anak muda atau pemuda yang sedang membentuk dirinya. Genersi Z adalah mereka yang lahir setelah generasi internet – generasi yang sudah menikmati keajiban teknologi usai kelahiran internet. Generasi ini dapat dikatakan sebagai orang yang sudah beranjak dewasa atau sudah punya pekerjaan dan hal-hal lain yang bisa mempengaruhi ekonomi, politik dan kehidupan sosial dunia kini. Generasi Z dikatakan oleh Aulia  Adam, 28 April 2017. didunia belum pernah ada generasi yang sejak lahir sudah akrab dengan teknologi. Ini merupakan penyebab dari pengaruh derasnya globalisasi teknologi saat ini sehingga solusi yang dapat kita lakukan yaitu dengan adanya kerja sama antara pemerintah, orangtua dan lembaga pendidikan untuk terus mengawasi tindakan dan perilaku generasi muda yang diiringi dengan memberikan pemahaman dan pengarahan akan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Generasi-generasi baru inilah yang dapat menyebabkan adanya penyimpangan nilai-nilai Panacasila dan sekaligus lunturnya kristalisasi Pancasila. Pada penulisan ini, metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci</strong> : Generasi muda, Penyimpangan nilai-nilai Pancasila, Lunturnya Pancasila, gadget, Era Millennial.</p>

On the Internet, many commentary styles take place on various forums, and abuse is not uncommon. We investigated the personality traits related to individuals’ behaviors on Internet forum posting. The Dark Short Tetrad (SD4) were used to predict (N = 212) three types of commentary styles: Trolling (malicious posting), Lurking (reading/not posting) and Posting (reading/posting). The results showed that Trolling co-varied with Sadism (r = .38) and Machiavellianism (r = .28). The results also showed that people high on dark traits are Trolling the Internet. Exploratory mediator analyses further revealed that various aspects of anonymity trivially moderate personality traits and behavior (indirect effects β ≈ .10). The overall take-home message is that personality traits, especially dark traits, play a role in how individuals express themselves online. This provides well-needed insight in abusive behaviors in forums on the internet.

Online shopping behavior (also called online buying behavior and Internet shopping or buying behavior) refers to the process of purchasing products or services via the Internet. E-commerce has been growing very fast because of many advantages associated with buying on internet because of lower transaction and search cost as compared to other types of shopping. Through online shopping consumers can buy faster, more alternatives and can order product and services with comparative lowest price. Therefore, in this paper, the researchers have carefully analyzed the consumers’ attitude and behavior towards online shopping. This paper gives a comprehensive picture of the awareness and attitudes of consumersin using internet for online purchase. A sample size of one hundred and five respondents is selected for the research from Thoothukudi district. The study quantitatively analyses the awareness of consumers in using internet, attitudes and behaviors of the consumers in buying various products from internet, hours of using the internet and the like using primary data. Appropriate findings and suggestions are given in the paper.
