  Many findings of learning are still less varied, the learning process has a tendency on certain methods (conventional), and do not pay attention to the level of students' understanding of the information submitted. Learners are less active in the learning process, students listen and write more. Therefore, the scientific approach brings out learning centered on the learner. And it can be collaborated with Discovery Learning model. This study aims to find out how the implementation of Discovery Learning model in science learning, as well as supporting factors and inhibiting the process of science learning with the Discovery Learning model. The results of this study indicate that: the implementation of Discovery Learning model in science learning in class V MIN 1 Bantul and SDIT BAIK Bantul shows that overall teachers have implemented the learning steps of Discovery Learning model (a) stimulation, teachers stimulate learners by giving a (b) problem statement, the teacher gives the picture and the learner identifies the problem contained in the picture, (c) the data collection, the learners are given experience looking for alternative troubleshooting, (d) data processing, training the learners to try and explore the ability. And last (e) verification and generalitation, learners discuss and communicate the results of the discussion in front of the class. While the supporting and inhibiting factors; Supporting factors (1) teachers' patience, (2) interesting learning packaging, (3) available learning media that complied, (4) good communication, (5) high learning motivation of learners. While the inhibiting factors, (1) the process of student assessment, (2) attitudes of students who are too active, (3) characteristics of different students.

On science learning at fifth grade SD Negeri 2 Kotayasa showed that learning process still used lecturing method and lack of students’ participation. The research was aimed at improving curiosity and science learning achievement at class V SD Negeri 2 Kotayasa. The research was done in 2 cycles which consisted of 2 meetings for each. The result of the research showed that there was an improvement. The average of curiosity in cycle I was 30,3. Meanwhile, the average of curiosity in cycle 122,2 and for cycle II there was an improvement on which the average was 159 with 81,5% as the classical completeness. Based on the data aforementioned, it could be concluded that make a match learning model could improve curiosity and science learning achievement on land forming material through making a match learning model in class V SD Negeri 2 Kotayasa. This classroom action research improved curiosity and science learning model on land forming through make a match learning model.

<pre><em>The purpose of this study was to improve the critical thinking skills of class V students in science learning with the Discovery Learning learning model. The research undertaken was a Classroom Action Research with 3 cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meeting. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. In cycle I students who have high critical thinking skills are 60%, in cycle II there is an increase to 85%, and in cycle III it increases to 90%. With a level of mastery learning 65% in cycle I, 80% in cycle II, and increased to 90% in cycle III. The final conclusion from the implementation of this classroom action research is that the use of discovery learning models can improve students' critical thinking skills in science learning human digestive organs in SD Negeri Ciwalen 03, Dayeuhluhur District, Cilacap Regency.</em></pre>

The low level of students’ science learning competencies at grade VII in Junior High School 16 Padang is caused by several factors, one of them is the learning process still used teacher-centered, so the students tend to inactive in the learning process. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an innovative learning process in order to improve students’ competencies, in knowledge, attitudes and skill. One of the method that can be used by the teacher is by implementing the Discovery Learning model. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model through students’ learning competencies in science (knowledge, attitudes and skill) at grade VII in Junior High School 16 Padang. This type of research is experimental research with a control group posttest only design. The population in this study were all class VII SMPN 16 Padang registered in the 2018/2019. Sampling was done using technique purposive sampling, which was chosen as the sample of the study was class VII.5 as the experimental and VII.2 as the control class. The instruments used were in the form of questions posttest for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for attitide and skills. The hypothesis was tested using the t-test, can be concluded that the competencies of learners knowledge tcount 5,96 > ttable 1,67, the competencies of attitude value tcount 6,36 > ttable 1,67, and the competencies of skills value tcount1,69 >  ttable1,67. This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. Concluded that the application of model the Discovery Learning has a positive effect on students’ science learning competency of knowledge, attitudes and skills of class VII students of SMPN 16 Padang.

 ABSTRAKLatar belakang penelitian adalah adanya masalah yang dihadapi guru:         (1)Rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik dalam Tema 4 Sehat itu Penting, (2) Peserta didik kurang aktif, (3) Nilai rata-rata kelas dalam Tema  4 Sehat itu Penting masih rendah. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah Penggunaan metode/model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat.Rumusan Permasalahannya adalah Bagaimanakah penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada Tema 4 Sehat itu Penting Subtema 2 Gangguan Kesehatan Organ Peredaran Darah Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kalen?                                                                 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada Tema 4 Sehat itu Penting yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik,diharapkan pula dapat meningkatkan kriteria ketuntasan maksimal (KKM). Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik KelasV SD Negeri 1 Kalen Kecamatan Kedungtuban Kabupaten Blora yang berjumlah 35 siswa yang terdiri dari 18 laki-laki dan 17 perempuan. Data hasil belajar pada peserta didik Kelas V diperoleh melalui Penilaian Pengetahuan dan Keterampilan, lembar observasi yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kegiatan peserta didik di dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran Tema 4 Sehat itu Penting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar peserta didik Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kalen Kecamatan Kedungtuban Kabupaten Blora dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi terhadap proses pembelajaran sehingga dapat mencapai nilai KKM.Peningkatan Hasil belajar siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kalen Kecamatan Kedungtuban Kabupaten Blora dapat dilihat dari peningkatan yang signifikan dari kondisi siklus I ke siklus II,siklus II ke siklus III. Data yang diperoleh pada siklus I yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 47,00% dengan rata-rata kelas 69,42 sedangkan pada siklus II memperoleh ketuntasan maksimal mencapai 100% dengan rata-rata kelas 99,14 dan pada siklus III memperoleh ketuntasan 100% dengan rata-rata kelas 99,71.                                                                                Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatan hasil belajar siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kalen Kecamatan Kedungtuban Kabupaten BloraKata Kunci : Peserta Didik, Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning, Hasil Belajar  ABSTRACT The background of the research is the problems faced by the teacher: (1) The low learning outcomes of students in Theme 4 Healthy is Important, (2) Students are less active, (3) The class average score in Theme 4 Healthy is Important is still low. The problem statement is How can the application of the Discovery Learning model improve student learning outcomes in Theme 4 Healthy is Important Sub-Theme 2 Health Problems of Circulatory Organs in Class V SD Negeri 1 Kalen?This study aims to apply the Discovery Learning learning model on Theme 4 Healthy is Important which is expected to improve student learning outcomes, and it is also hoped that it can improve the maximum completeness criteria (KKM). This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kalen, Kedungtuban District, Blora Regency, totaling 35 students consisting of 18 boys and 17 girls.Data on learning outcomes for Class V students were obtained through the Knowledge and Skills Assessment, observation sheets used to collect data on student activities in following the learning process. Healthy Theme 4 is Important. The results showed the learning outcomes of Class V students of SD Negeri 1 Kalen, Kedungtuban District, Blora Regency could increase interest and motivation in the learning process so that they could achieve the KKM value.The increase in student learning outcomes of Class V SD Negeri 1 Kalen, Kedungtuban District, Blora Regency can be seen from the significant increase from the conditions of cycle I to cycle II, cycle II to cycle III. The data obtained in the first cycle that reached the KKM as much as 47.00% with a class average of 69.42, while in the second cycle the maximum completeness reached 100% with a class average of 99.14 and in the third cycle it obtained 100% completeness on average - grade average 99.71.The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Class V students of SD Negeri 1 Kalen, Kedungtuban District, Blora Regency.Keywords: Students, Discovery Learning Learning Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract                     The objectives of this study were: (1) to determine the application of the discovery learning model in science subjects with soil types in class V SDI Ende 12 students. Soil types after the inquiry learning model was applied at SDI Ende 12.                    This study used a classroom action research model (PTK) which consisted of two cycles. Each cycle had one meeting and consisted of several stages, namely the planning stage, the action stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. The subjects of this study were 27 students of class V SDI Ende 12, Ende Utara District, Ende Regency with details of 15 boys and 12 girls. Data was collected using a science learning outcome test for each cycle. In addition, to determine the activeness of students in teaching and learning activities through the inquiry learning model, teacher and student observation sheets were used during teaching and learning activities.                    The results of this study indicate that the application of discovery learning methods can improve learning outcomes in class V SDI Ende 12 students. This can be seen from the increased learning outcomes of students from cycles I and II. The average science learning outcomes for Soil Types at the end of cycle I was 65.18 and in cycle II increased to 88.51. Keywords: Discovery learning model, Activities, learning outcomes  Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery pada mata pelajaran IPA dengan materi jenis-jenis tanah pada peserta didik kelas V SDI Ende 12.  (2) untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kelas V pada pembelajaran IPA materi jenis-jenis tanah setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inquiri di SDI Ende 12.Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus.Setiap siklus masing-masing dengan satu kali pertemuan dan terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yakni tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahapan observasi serta tahap refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas  V SDI Ende 12 Kecamatan Ende Utara Kabupaten Ende yang berjumlah 27 orang dengan perincian 15 orang laki-laki dan 12 orang perempuan.Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar IPA untuk tiap siklus. Disamping itu, untuk mengetahui keaktifan peserta didik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar melalui  model pembelajaran inquiri digunakan lembar observasi guru dan peserta didik selama kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran discovery dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada peserta didik kelas V SDI Ende 12. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya hasil belajar peserta didik dari siklus I dan II. Rata-rata hasil belajar IPA untuk materi Jenis-Jenis Tanah pada akhir siklus I sebesar 65,18 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 88,51. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran Discovery, Aktivitas, Hasil belajar

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in science muple class V elementary schools through the application of the Discovery Learning learning model. The research conducted was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of three cycles, with each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The implementation of the action uses the Discovery Learning model with a systematics of initial activities, core activities, and final activities. The results showed that the application of the Discovery Learning model resulted in a successful increase in learning outcomes. The percentage of completeness of science learning outcomes has increased which in the pre cycle was 33%, then in the first cycle it became 58.3%, in the second cycle it reached 83.3%, and in the third cycle it reached 92%. Based on the learning outcomes, it can be concluded that applying the Discovery Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade V SD Negeri Ayah students.</em></p>

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to improve the science learning outcomes competency in analyzing the relationship between ecosystem components with the Discovery Learning model. The subjects in this study were students of class V SDN 02 Sarwodadi, consisting of 14 boys and 6 girls. Classroom Action Research Methods implemented in 3 cycles. The research design starts from the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The learning outcomes of students with the application of the Discovery Learning model have increased in each cycle. In cycle I (75%), cycle II (87.50%) and cycle III (100%). Completeness of learning in cycle I (70%), cycle II (90% and cycle III (100%) while the class average in cycle I (76.50), cycle II (83.00), and cycle III (85, 50) The conclusion that can be drawn is that learning with the use of the Discovery Learning model can improve science learning outcomes competence in analyzing the relationship between ecosystem components in class V SDN 02 Sarwodadi students.</em><em></em></p>

Making concept map homework is expected can improve students’ learning activities in science. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model  preceded by making concept map homework through students’ learning competencies in science (knowledge, attitudes and skill) at grade VII in Junior High School 16 Padang.  Based on the hypothesis, it is known that the knowledge competency tcount  >  ttable (5,96 > 1,67), the attitude competency tcount > ttable (6,36 > 1,67) and the skill competency tcount  >  ttable (1,69 > 1,67). The result of the study show that the hypothesis is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model preceded by the making concept maps homework can improve students’ science learning competences (knowledge, attitudes and skill) at grade VII in Junior High School 16 Padang.

The process and student learning outcomes in science learning material properties of light is a problem faced by class IV SD Negeri 3 Mengwi. Student activity and learning outcomes have not been maximized because the teacher delivered science learning materials using the lecture method. This is the background of the researchers to conduct research with the aim of improving the process and learning outcomes of science with material properties of light with learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning. This research is a type of classroom action research conducted in SD Negeri 3 Mengwi. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students, amounting to 27 students consisting of 14 female students and 13 male students. The implementation of this study used 2 cycles. Instruments used to collect data are observation sheets, interviews, documentation and test questions. The results of this study indicate that science learning outcomes with material properties of light using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in SD Negeri 3 Mengwi have increased in two cycles with quite satisfactory values. There was an increase in learning outcomes from cycle 1 an average value of 68.51 to 75.37 in cycle 2. In addition, there was an increase in the learning process of students in science learning carried out by teachers using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model.
