This study was conducted based on the facts about the lack of maximal outcomes of learning English in almost all levels of education, especially in vocational school. Although English has been studied for many years, but the majority of students can not master English well, especially speaking. Many factors cause this phenomenon, and all parties should concern to work together to formulatebetter system and process of English learning at vocational school.The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Pacitan, by taking the students of class XII as subjects research. The sample of this research consists of 94 students of Business Travel and Tourism,Network Computer Engineering, and Engineering Software classes. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. It is used to describe the students’ speaking competence, particularlyin presenting final task report. This research also identifies the internal and external functions to formulate a strategy to improve the students’s speaking competence. The results showed that based on the analysis of English speaking competency of SMK Negeri 1 Pacitan students, it can be concluded as follows: a). Based on the students absorption analysis of presenting final project report, shows that English competency level of students is in the category of “pretty”, with evidence of the studentsvalue average in presenting final project report is more than the passing grade value (7.50),it is 79.5. While the number of student, who passed the presentation test,is 66 students.So it can be obtained the percentage level of mastery learning students on the presentation test of final report is only 70.21%, and it is categorized “less”, because the percentage of students who passed this exam is still under 75%. b). While the analysis of the questionnaire can be scribed that the average overall score of 3.44 speaking competence components are categorized “pretty”, and it can be concluded that the level of competence of English speaking students generally categorized “enough”. Based on the level ofstudents’ English speaking competence , it can be formulated the strategies to increase its competence. They are: a). Maximizing the use of English as a language instruction and reducing the use of Indonesian, especially in the learning process, to improve English language competency, so that students can have the ability to explain the sequence of events and the students can pass the exam well. b). Having more English presentation activitiesin other topics to encourage the students’ bravery and self-confidence in speaking English, so that students have good Englishcompetence as preparation to getjobs or to continue their study at university.c). Having more exercise of using body language to improve the mastery of speech, and smooth attitude, so that students have good English competence,and they are able to compete in the global world in obtaining employment. d). And maximizing the use of school’s facilities by using various methods of learning, and focusing on the students’ center method to improve the studentsEnglish competency so that they are able to compete for educational scholarships in this country and abroad.

The designs of automotive suspension system are aiming to avoid vibration generated by road condition interference to the driver. This final project is about a quarter car modeling with simulation modeling and analysis of Two-Mass modeling. Both existing and new modeling are being compared with additional spring in the sprung mass system. MATLAB program is developed to analyze using a state space model. The program developed here can be used for analyzing models of cars and vehicles with 2DOF. The quarter car modelling is basically a mass spring damping system with the car serving as the mass, the suspension coil as the spring, and the shock absorber as the damper. The existing modeling is well-known model for simulating vehicle suspension performance. The spring performs the role of supporting the static weight of the vehicle while the damper helps in dissipating the vibrational energy and limiting the input from the road that is transmitted to the vehicle. The performance of modified modelling by adding extra spring in the sprung mass system provides more comfort to the driver. Later on this project there will be comparison graphic which the output is resulting on the higher level of damping system efficiency that leads to the riding quality.

We are a group of engineering students, in our first year of undergraduate study. We have been selected from one thousand first year students and have competed and won the PACE competition. All engineers share a common general first year, but we have been accepted into Civil and Mechanical engineering. This project was assigned as the final project in the Design and Graphics course. The project we are tasked with, called the Cornerstone Design Project, is to first dissect a product, discover how it works, dimension each part and create a fully assembled model using CAD software (Solid Edge V20 in our case). As part of discovering how it works we must benchmark it so the device can be compared with competing products. The goal of the project is to develop a full understanding of part modeling and assembly in Solid Edge, learn proper measurement techniques, and learn the process of reverse engineering and product dissection. All of these tasks were stepping stones to help us fully understand how the device, and all its components, work.

The 2013 APSA RBSI Program has received funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to continue the RBSI for 2013. Additional program funding is provided by Duke University and APSA. Each summer, the Institute gives 20 students a look at the world of graduate study with a program of two transferable credit courses, one in quantitative analysis and one in race and American politics, to introduce the intellectual demands of graduate school and political science research methods. For a final project for both courses, students prepare original, empirical research papers, and top students are given the opportunity to present their research at APSA's Annual Meeting. Named in honor of the 1950 Nobel Peace Prize winner and former APSA President, Ralph J. Bunche, the Ralph Bunche Summer Institute (RBSI) program goal is to encourage students to pursue academic careers in political science. Abstract Mechatronics is the synergistic combination of precision mechanical engineering, electronics, control engineering, and computer science in the design process. This paper describes a new elective course entitled Mechatronics which has been developed and was taught for the first time at Rensselaer during the fall 1991 semester to 45 senior-undergraduate and graduate students. The key areas of mechatronics which are studied in depth in this course are: control sensors and actuators, interfacing sensors and actuators to a microcomputer, discrete controller design, and real-time programming for control using the C programming language. The course is heavily laboratory-based with a two-hour laboratory weekly in addition to three hours of classroom lecture. The laboratory exercises include computer-aided control system design using MATRIXx, various analog and digital sensors, hydraulic actuators, DC and stepper motors, and computer control of a variety of physical systems. The unifying theme for the course is the integration of these key areas into a successful mechatronic design. Students are required, as a final project, to: identify a problem or need, analyze the problem, and write a problem statement; perform a state-of-the-art review; develop a list of specifications and identify the key specifications; generate an outstanding mechatronic-system conceptual design; and finally perform a detailed design of the system which may include model building and hardware development. Examples of student projects are described. This course should significantly enhance our design education program in the Mechanical Engineering Department and lay the foundation for the students to become mechatronic design engineers.

The current research aims to know (the effect of Bayer's strategy on developing divergent thinking among second-grade intermediate students in the subject of Arab-Islamic history) . In order to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher puts the following null hypothesis : 1.There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students who study according to the Bayer strategy and the average scores of the control group students who study in the traditional way in the dimensional divergent thinking test . The researcher chose an experimental design with two groups, one experimental and the other a control, and the two research groups (experimental - control) were rewarded with the following variables : (Chronological age in months, grades of the previous year, IQ test, pre-branched thinking test ) . The current research was limited to second-grade intermediate students in (Al-Furat Intermediate School for Boys), which is one of the schools affiliated to the city of Baghdad / Directorate of Education Al-Karkh First. (32) students, and the second represented the control group who were studying the same subject in the traditional way, and they numbered (31) students. Thus, the number of the research sample reached (63) students. 2017-2018 . The researcher prepared the divergent thinking test in light of the steps and main questions of the Sheikhly test (2001) in measuring the ability of divergent thinking of the students of the research sample . : The search results showed .The experimental group students who study history according to the Bayer strategy outperformed the control group students who study history using the traditional method in the dimensional branched thinking test .
