This study aims to determine the use of learning media by civil engineering students during field experience program. This research was conducted at the Department of Civil Engineering, State University of Jakarta. The time period of research is January-June 2011. The research population is Civil EngineeringStudents UNJ Even Semester, 2010/2011 Academic Year. The sample used are 20 PPL students from 35 Department of Civil Engineering PPL students who did field experience program and 60 vocational school students. This research used survey method with descriptive approach. Questionnaire instruments are used in collecting the data. The instruments were tested first before used in research. Test results showed that 21 questions are valid and reliable (rtabel = 0.532). The analysis of data is using qualitative descriptive techniques with percentage. The results showed that PPL students using instructional media in accordance with the learning purposes that are analyzing the concepts and relationships, memorizing, requires higher-level thinking, and implementing physical procedures. In addition, PPL students have usedall learning media such asprinting media, programs (power point), boards, real thing, video with media devices LCD projector and computer / laptop. In this case the largest percentage is to use the board media and the smallest percentage isto use video media. The conclusion of this study is that all PPL students of Civil Engineering were usinglearning media appropriate to the learning objectives

The purpose of this research is getting the data about the level of complacency of User to the alumni of Building Engineering Education Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering State University of Jakarta. The population of this research is formal and informal institutions which use about 30 alumni as the teacher based on the data of IKA – The Alumni of Building Engineering Education Faculty of Engineering State University of Jakarta. A number of 24 educational institutions located in Jabodetabek who had used the alumni between the years 2001-2011 will be the sample of this research. The result shows that the pedagogic competency with the level of appropriateness 79.83% is quite satisfying, personal competency with level of appropriateness 87.55% is satisfying, professionalism competency with the level of appropriateness 83.23% is satisfying, and the business competency with the level of appropriateness 84.83% is satisfying based on the required competency had in the Building Engineering Education Program Faculty of Engineering State University of Jakarta. Level of interest for each competency shows that the personal competency placed in quadrant B which means this competency is the urgent competency to be had for each alumni and it is successfully performed by the alumni to reach the target of the Building Engineering Education Program. Besides, the professionalism, pedagogic, and business competency located in quadrant C meaning that this competency is important to be had for each alumni and it is not wellperformed yet by the alumni. The result of this research shows that the expectation of the alumni measured in this research based on the pedagogic, personal, professionalism, social and business competency is urgently needed to be had for the alumni of Building Engineering Education Department of Civil Engineering State University of Jakarta. The assessment of occupation from the user shows that those competencies have shown by the alumni well.

The article is devoted to the reality of the modern historical city in the totality of the actual values of the valuable heritage, traces of the past, mental codes, archetypal images and the memory of civilization. The place of history in today’s socio-cultural fi eld and in the professional context is not clearly defi ned. Together with the understanding of the need to preserve the heritage, traces and memory of the past, there are global trends that mediate the features of the glocal in architecture. However, even this compromise cannot fully demonstrate the complexity of the historical city viability. According to the author, it is necessary to search for reasons that sometimes appear outside the material reality, but address directly to the spiritual world and mental space of a person, which is the main purpose of the article. The emphasis is placed on the artistic dimension of environmental realities, which allows us to determine the living connections of history and modernity on the basis of the author’s concept of artc integration. The article is illustrated by some results of cooperation between the Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Polytechnic University of Milan (Politecnico di Milano) in the fi eld of reconstruction and renovation of historically valuable territories and author’s photographs.

The purpose of this research is to design, to build, and to test vibration, sound and temperature control devices on Motor on 3-phases motor for damage to a arduino based 3-phase induction motor. The research is conducted in the Motor Installation Lab. 1st floor Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta. At June 2019 until December 2019.This research uses engineering methods. The research subjects used are AC motors. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with data collection techniques namely laboratory observation using testing instruments. The results showed that the device can measure the level of vibration and sound (noise) of the motor through the LOW and HIGH conditions of the vibration sensor and sound sensor, while the device can measure the level of the motor temperature through data from the LM35 temperature sensor. So it can be concluded that the vibration, sound and temperature gauges can function well in motor damage indications.
