Since its early days, the Internet has been used by the music industry as a powerful marketing tool to promote artists and their products. Nevertheless, technology developments of the past ten years, and especially the ever-growing phenomenon of file sharing, have created the general impression that the Internet is responsible for a crisis within the industry, on the grounds that music piracy has become more serious than it has ever been. The purpose of this paper is to present the impact of new technologies and the Internet on the three main actors of the music industry: consumers, artists and record companies. It is claimed that the Internet has changed the way music is valued, and also, that it may have a direct effect on the quality of the music produced, as perceived by both artists and consumers alike.

The recent proliferation of global networking has an enormous impact on the cooperation of smart elements, of arbitrary kind and purpose that can be located anywhere and interact with each other according to the predefined protocol. Furthermore, these elements have to be intelligently orchestrated in order to support distributed sensing and/or monitoring/control of real world phenomena. That is why the Internet of Things (IoT) concept raises like a new, promising paradigm for Future Internet development. Considering that Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are envisioned as integral part of arbitrary IoTs, and the potentially huge number of cooperating IoTs that are usually used in the real world phenomena monitoring and management, the reliability of individual sensor nodes and the overall network performance monitoring and improvement are definitely challenging issues. One of the most interesting real world phenomena that can be monitored by WSN is indoor or outdoor fire. The incorporation of soft computing technologies, like fuzzy logic, in sensor nodes has to be investigated in order to gain the manageable network performance monitoring/control and the maximal extension of components life cycle. Many aspects, such as routes, channel access, locating, energy efficiency, coverage, network capacity, data aggregation and Quality of Services (QoS) have been explored extensively. In this article two fuzzy logic approaches, with temporal characteristics, are proposed for monitoring and determining confidence of fire in order to optimize and reduce the number of rules that have to be checked to make the correct decisions. We assume that this reduction may lower sensor activities without relevant impact on quality of operation and extend battery life directly contributing the efficiency, robustness and cost effectiveness of sensing network. In order to get a real time verification of proposed approaches a prototype sensor web node, based on Representational State Transfer (RESTful) services, is created as an infrastructure that supports fast critical event signaling and remote access to sensor data via the Internet.

Today, digital communication has become an integral part of everyday life. Many applications are based on the Internet and communications must be made in secret. This is especially important when confidential information needs to be exchanged. As a result, the security of information transmitted over public channels is a fundamental problem, and as a result, the confidentiality and integrity of the data is essential to protect against unauthorized access and use. This caused the information concealment area to become unstable. Encryption and steganography are two of the most common methods you can use to ensure safety. With encryption, the data is converted to another form of gibberish and the encrypted data is transmitted. In Steganography, the image is transferred to the image, which is embedded in the image without affecting the quality of the image. This article suggests a new way to embed data into images and edit data using common virtual built-in technologies

Numerous studies on heritage violins have shown that there are a number of factors that contribute to the acoustic quality of old violins. Among them are the geometric shape of the violin, the thickness of the tiles, the arching of the tiles, the dimensions and position of the bass bar, the size and position of the acoustic holes. Thus, the paper aims to compare the structural and constructive elements of old violins made in various famous violin workshops (Stainer, Klotz, Leeb, Babos Bela), using nondestructive and noncontact techniques based on image analysis. The violins that were studied date from 1716 to 1920, being in good condition, most of them being used by artists from the Brașov Philharmonic of Romania. In the first stage of the study, the violins were optically analyzed and scanned to identify the structure of the resonant wood, using the WinDENDRO Density 2007 program. X-ray imaging and computed tomography (CT) were also used. Combining the types of analyses, capitalizing on the expertise of violin producers and the knowledge of researchers in the field, valuable data on the geometric and constructive characteristics of old violins were extracted.

Abstract Customers’ complaints represent an opportunity for any organization who wants to improve relationship with customers, to find out the problems existing into organization and the way to solve them, to improve the amount of knowledge and the desire, beliefs, and needs of customers. All those are made in order to increase value for organization and also for the customers. Having objective information, updated, clear and sincere, the organization may improve the quality of their products and services it offers. Thus, any complaints may be regarded as a gift not as a negative feedback from the customers, or as a two-way feedback based on trust and collaboration. A gift which will bring performance on long term based on win-win situations. In this article we will disseminate the literature in the field and also we will analyze the results of a research made on 150 respondents who analyzed 10 institutions, the willingness to recommend them to other customers and the problem existing into these institutions, making a plan to overcome them. The objective of this analysis is to understand the role of customers’ complaints in improving the quality of the products and services and of the value obtained both for customers and organizations.

<p>With the continuous development of Internet technology, its application in all walks of life is deepening, and the scope of application is also expanding. In the field of education, more and more people are exploring how to use the Internet to improve the quality of education, and how to reshape teaching methods through Internet technology and ideas. In sports education, the application of Internet technology is also a reform in many aspects. For example, in traditional orienteering teaching, at first, teachers used mechanical punchers; Later, gradually developed to the application of electronic timing system. Although some progress has been made in equipment[1], equipment arrangement and recycling still take up a lot of time and directly affect the teaching efficiency. The development of the Internet provides a technical means to effectively solve this problem and sets off a research upsurge in the theoretical circle. This paper integrates Internet technology and thought with orienteering teaching and discusses the new teaching mode in the new era.</p>
