Background: Nutrition issues in students mostly happen is a life changes phase that affected by lifestyle, so it could affected the behavior that tend to be unhealthy such as smoking, alcohol consumption, hyper-consumption, lack of physical activities and sleepless. This Unhealthy lifestyle potentially caused disease such as metabolic disorders. Therefore this research aim to find out the consumptions, nutritional status and chemical clinical profile and it correlation between nutritional status, anthropometry with chemical/clinical variable in UKSW students with Dayak ngaju ethnic background. This research used cross sectional observational design. Method: The number of respondents were 30 dayak ngaju ethnic students who lived in Salatiga. Data collection techniques using anthropometry measurements, chemical/clinical examination. Food frequency and food recall. Results: The result of anthropometry measurement and metabolic the 30 students showed, underweight 1 respondent (3,3 %), overweight 4 respondent (13,3%) low diastolic pressure (33,3 %), uric acid levels of 30 students is normal (100 %). 3 students with high cholesterol levels (10 %) and 6 students with high momentary glucose levels (20 %). Students nutritional intake using food recall 24 hours showed average energy consumption ±1527.44 kcal, protein ±51.09 gr, Fat ±46.27 gr, carbohydrate ±238.63 gr. Fulfillment of nutrient intake by category adequacy mostly fit in either category, but there were respondents who fall into the category of medium and light the deficit of protein (10%; 0% of respondents), carbohydrate (3.3%; 3.3% of respondents). The Pearson correlation test shows that there is a correlation between cholesterol and supraliaca with a p-value of 0.002 (p≤0.05).

Introduction: Work Fatigue is the common condition experienced by most worker but if this condition occured continously, it will affect of the worker’s health condition. Work fatigue can be affected by several factors, some of which are energy intake and nutritional status. Objective: The aim of this research was to analyze the correlation between the adequacy of energy intake and nutritional status with the level of work fatigue. Methods: This study was an analytic observational, used cross sectional study with 33 sample from 48 workers of cocoa powder production PT. Multi Aneka Pangan Nusantara Surabaya selected by simple random sampling. Data were collected by food recall 2X24 hours for energy intake, measuring weight and height for nutritional stastus and Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire for the level of fatigue. Data were analyzed by ranks spearman correlation test. Results: Most of workers were <25 years old (42.4%), the adequacy of energy intake were deficit (66.7%), the nutritional status were normal (54.5%), and the work fatigue were moderate (63.6%). The result of this research showed that there were corellation between the adequacy of energy intake (p-value=0.001) and nutritional status (p-value=0.018) with the level of work fatigue. Conclussion: In conclusion, lower energy intake and high BMI would increase the level of fatigue.ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Kelelahan kerja menjadi keadaan umum yang dialami hampir semua tenaga kerja, namun jika hal ini terjadi secara terus menerus dapat mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan pekerja. Kelelahan kerja dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, beberapa diantaranya yaitu asupan energi dan status gizi pekerja.Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan kecukupan asupan energi dan status gizi dengan tingkat kelelahan kerja pekerja.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan sampel sebesar 33 pekerja dari 48 pekerja bagian produksi cocoa powder PT. Terdapat hubungan antara kecukupan asupan energi (p=0,001) dan status gizi (p=0,018) dengan tingkat kelelahan kerja pekerja.Kesimpulan:. Semakin kurang asupan energi dan semakin tinggi IMT maka akan semakin tinggi tingkat kelelahan kerja pada pekerja.

Abstract: One of the causes of low hemoglobin is inadequate nutrition. Nutrition obtained from various foods and drinks we consume such as: rice, meat, vegetables, fish, and water. Nutritional intake is one of the determinants of nutritional status can be measured by anthropometric status. This study aimd to find the relationship between hemoglobin levels with daily nutritional status in teen aged 12-14 years with an analytical study design using cross sectional approach. Samples of this study were a part of the population who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were 45 people. Data collected through anthropometric measurements and measurements of hemoglobin, then analyzed using Pearson Correlation test. The results showed that the nutritional status (BMI/U) that was normal 48.89%, overweight 22.22%, obesity 28.89%, and there was no respondents with malnutrition, while non-anemic 82.2% and anemic 17.8%. Conclusion: There was no correlation between nutritional status (BMI / U) for hemoglobin levels with a p-value is 0.343 > α = 0.05.Keywords: hemoglobin, nutritional status, teenAbstrak: Salah satu penyebab Hb rendah adalah nutrisi yang inadekuat. Nutrisi didapatkan dari berbagai makanan dan minuman yang biasa kita konsumsi seperti: nasi, daging-daging, sayur-sayuran, ikan, dan air. Asupan gizi adalah salah satu indikator penentu status gizi yang dapat diukur melalui status antropometri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar hemoglobin dengan status gizi sehari-hari pada remaja usia 12-14 tahun dengan rancangan penelitian bersifat analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan potong lintang (cross sectional). Sampel dari penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari populasi yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi berjumlah 45 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran antropometri dan pengukuran hemoglobin, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Pearson Correlation. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa Status Gizi (IMT/U) yang normal sebesar 48.89%, overweight sebesar 22.22%, obesitas sebesar 28.89%, dan tidak ada responden dengan gizi kurang maupun sangat kurang, sementara nonanemis sebesar 82.2% dan anemis sebesar 17.8%. Simpulan: Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara status gizi (IMT/U) terhadap kadar hemoglobin dengan nilai p yaitu 0.343 > α = 0.05.Kata kunci: kadar hemoglobin, remaja, status gizi

Abstract BackgroundThough evidence about the magnitude of malnutrition is well established in Ethiopia, the evidence is scarce about the association of nutritional status with academic performance among adolescents. Thus, this study aimed at determining the association of nutritional status with academic performance among adolescents attending secondary schools in Wolaita Sodo town, Southern Ethiopia.MethodsA facility-based cross-sectional study was conducted among 670 systematically selected adolescents in secondary schools of Wolaita Sodo town from April to June 2019. The academic performance of the adolescents was measured using the average mark score of two consecutive semester's results of the overall subjects. Data were analyzed with STATA software Version 15. Descriptive statistics, Pearson Correlation, and linear regression were used in the statistical analysis, and p-value < 0.05 was considered as statistically significant.ResultsThe mean academic performance of students was 69.21 ± 0.42 (95% CI: 68.34%-70.02%). An average mark score of students increased by 1.89 (β = 1.89; 95%CI: 1.14, 2.64) for a unit increase in BMI for age z-score. Being female decreased an average mark score by 2.63 (β=-2.63; 95%CI: -4.28, -0.98) and being from a separated parents decreased by 4.73 (β=-4. 73; 95%CI: -6.73, -2.74). An average mark score of students from the lowest wealth class decreased by 9.92(-9.92; 95%CI: -12.79, -7.04) as compared to students from the highest wealth class. Attending private schools increased the average mark score of students by 4.18 (β = 4.18; 95%CI: 2.46, 5.90).ConclusionInterventions targeted at adolescents’ nutritional status should be designed and implemented. The town education office and concerned bodies should launch a school feeding program for government schools. Development and income-generating activities should target households with the lowest wealth status. Schools should give tutorial classes for female students.

Nutrition college students as a representatives in society is required to have ideal and healthy body. Besides aff ected by those demands, body image is also aff ected by nutritional status and energy intake. A good knowledge of nutrition is not always followed by appropriate practices as well as normal nutritional status and average energy intake. This research was aimed to analyze the relationship of energy intake and nutritional status with body image of nutrition college students of Universitas Airlangga. This research was an observational analytic study using cross sectional design. The sample size were 71 nutrition college student, taken by proportional random sampling. The observed variables were body image, energy intake, and nutritional status. Datas were analyzed used the Pearson correlation test, Spearman correlation test, and Chi Square. The results showed that 54.9% of nutrition college students had negative body image perception, normal energy intake (52.1%), and normal nutritional status (67.6%). There was correlation between body image with energy intake (p = 0.007) and nutritional status (p = 0.001). It is concluded that high intake of energy and overweight may leads to negative body image. Nutrition college students should make the right eff ort in achieving their desired ideal body weight through manage their food intake and doing weight monitoring routinely

ABSTRACT According to World Health Organization Health Organization (WHO) in 2005 showed 49% of deaths occur in children under five in developing countries. Nutritional problems can not be done with the medical and health care approach alone. Causes related to malnutrition that maternal education, socioeconomic families, poor environmental sanitation, and lack of food supplies. This study aims to determine the relationship between education and socioeconomic status of families with nutrition survey using a cross sectional analytic approach, with a population of all mothers of children under five who visited the health center in Palembang Keramasan Accidental sampling Sampling the number of samples obtained 35 respondents. Variables include the study independent and dependent variables and univariate analysis using Chi-Square test statistic with a significance level α = 0.05. The results from 35 respondents indicate that highly educated mothers earned as many as 16 people (45.7%), and middle and upper income families as many as 12 people (34.3%) and bivariate test results show that highly educated respondents toddler nutritional status good for 81.3% (13 people) is larger than the less educated respondents balitanya good nutritional status 26.3% (5 persons) as well as respondents who have middle and upper socioeconomic families with good nutritional status of children at 91.7% ( 11 people) is larger when compared to respondents who have family socioeconomic medium with good nutritional status of children at 30.4% (7 people). Statistical tests show that education has a significant relationship with nutritional status of children P value = 0.004 and socioeconomic families have a meaningful relationship with nutritional status of children P value = 0.002. Based on the results of the study suggested the health professionals in the health center should further improve the education, information about the importance of nutrition to the development of the child in the mothers through the selection and processing of good food and a good diet through health centers and integrated health.   ABSTRAK  Menurut badan kesehatan World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2005 menunjukkan 49% kematian yang terjadi pada anak dibawah umur lima tahun di negara berkembang. Masalah gizi ini tidak dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan medis dan pelayanan kesehatan saja. Penyebab yang berhubungan dengan kurang gizi yaitu pendidikan ibu, sosial ekonomi keluarga, sanitasi lingkungan yang kurang baik,dan kurangnya persediaan pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pendidikan dan sosial ekonomi keluarga dengan status gizi balita dengan menggunakan metode survei analitik pendekatan secara Cross Sectional, dengan populasi semua ibu yang memiliki anak balita yang berkunjung ke Puskesmas Keramasan Palembang dengan pengambilan sampel secara Accidental Sampling diperoleh jumlah sampel 35 responden. Variabel penelitian meliputi variabel independen dan dependen serta analisis univariat menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari 35 responden didapatkan ibu yang berpendidikan tinggi sebanyak 16 orang  (45,7%), dan keluarga yang berpenghasilan menengah keatas sebanyak 12 orang (34,3%) dan hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan bahwa responden yang berpendidikan tinggi status gizi balitanya baik sebesar 81,3% (13 orang) lebih besar bila dibanding responden yang berpendidikan rendah status gizi balitanya baik 26,3% (5 orang) serta responden yang mempunyai sosial ekonomi keluarga menengah keatas dengan status gizi balita baik sebesar 91,7% (11 orang) lebih besar bila dibanding responden yang mempunyai sosial ekonomi keluarga menengah kebawah dengan status gizi balita baik sebesar 30,4% (7 orang). Uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna dengan status gizi balita P value = 0,004 dan sosial ekonomi keluarga mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna dengan status gizi balita P value = 0,002. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan pada petugas kesehatan di Puskesmas hendaknya lebih meningkatkan penyuluhan-penyuluhan tentang pentingnya gizi terhadap tumbuh kembang anak pada ibu-ibu melalui cara pemilihan dan pengolahan bahan makanan yang baik serta pola makanan yang baik melalui kegiatan Puskesmas dan Posyandu.

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang : Keberadaan kader di posyandu sebagai salah satu sistem penyelenggarakan pelayanan sangat dibutuhkan. Mereka adalah ujung tombak  pelayanan kesehatan yang merupakan kepanjangtanganan puskesmas Jawa Tengah tahun 2011 jumlah gizi kurang 5,35% dan gizi buruk 0,10%. Untuk Kabupaten Semarang dari 23.562 balita yang ditimbang pada tahun 2011 gizi lebih 1,13%, gizi baik 93,51%, gizi kurang 4,86% dan gizi buruk 0,49% (DepKes Prov Jateng, 2011). Tujuan Penelitian : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan peran kader posyandu dengan status gizi balita. Metode Penelitian : Desain penelitian ini adalah survey analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh balita di Posyandu Mawar di Desa Gedangan sejumlah 40 responden, dengan teknik total sampling dan analisa data chi square. Hasil Penelitian : Hasil perhitungan chi square di peroleh X² hitung 10.644 pada df=4, P.value 0.031 dimana probabilitas lebih kecil dari level of significant 5 % (0,001 < 0,05) berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. At present, the incidence of injuries in Indonesia is quite high, as seen from data on traffic accidents in the general public. There are several factors that affect wound healing, one of which is nutritional status. Based on the preliminary data retrieval conducted by researchers in the seruni surgery room in the last 1 month namely in March, it was found that the number of wounded patients was 109 patients, where the number of men was 78 (71.56%) while the number of women was 31 ( 28.44%) The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and the wound healing process in RSUD. H. Andi. Sulthan Daeng Radja Kab. Bulukumba. This research uses the type of design of this research is quantitative research. This type of research uses analytic observational research with cross sectional approach. The sample of this study were 41 respondents taken by purposive sampling method. Data analysis in this study used the chi-square test (chi square test). The results of the analysis used the chi-square statistical test with a confidence level (α = 0.05). Based on the results of this test, the p value is 0.001, thus p <α (0.001 <0.05), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between nutritional status and the process of wound healing in RSUD. H. Andi. Sulthan Daeng Radja Kab. Bulukumba. Researchers suggest that this study be used as a material consideration in the fulfillment of nutrition in wound care patients in RSUD.H.A. Sulthan Daeng Radja Kab. Bulukumba and this research can be continued by conducting research related to the wound healing process and linking it with other variables.

Objective: Despite being an important predictor of morbidity and mortality, routine screening for malnutrition in dialysis patients is not a common practice in Pakistan. Modified Subjective Global Assessment (SGA) is a convenient, inexpensive and practical method to assess nutritional status particularly in resource limited setup. Methods: This cross sectional study was conducted in The Kidney Center Post Graduate Training institute (TKC-PGTI). Patients on maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) were included through non-probability consecutive sampling. A one-time SGA score was calculated based on the history and physical examinations using modified SGA or Dialysis Malnutrition Score (DMS). Chi square test was applied to find association between variables, while to observe the amount of effect of factors on SGA score; binary logistic regression analysis was run. P value of ? 0.05 considered significant. Results: Mild-Moderately malnourished patients were the most frequent in our study 96(64%).None of patient had severe malnourishment. Females were 2.6 times more prone for malnourishment (p value=0.009). More than 5- years on hemodialysis also increased the risk of malnourishment by 12.5 times (p value <0.001). Overweight patients had 85 % less chance of being malnourished as compare to patients with normal weight (p value=0.004). Conclusion: Malnutrition is quite common in hemodialysis patients, which necessitates its regular assessment and monitoring. There is a need to assess the reasons of more malnourishment in female as compared to male. This research used cross sectional design. The population was 194 respondents and the sample was 54 respondents which are taken by using simple random sampling technique. Independent variable in this research was demographic status that was measured by questionnaire and nutritional status that was measured based on Body Mass Index (BMI). Meanwhile, dependent variable in this research was the occurrence of anemia that was measured by using spectrophotometry. Data analysis used Fisher's Exact test and Two-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (α = 0,05). Result of Fisher's Exact test was obtained that p value = 1,000 > 0,05, which meant that there was no significant correlation between demographic status and the occurrence of anemia. Meanwhile, result of Two-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was obtained that p value = 0,017 < 0,05, which meant that there was a significant correlation between nutritional status and the occurrence of anemia.
