This study aimed to describe the strategy DinKop UMKM in empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises ( UMKM) which focused on the trade sector. In this case, the marketing mechanism which became one of the benchmarks in the development of UMKM. Moreover, empowerment conducted by DinKop UMKM should be maximized to increase the capacity of human resources in order to produce innovative products. In empowering micro, small, and medium-needed three phases which initials, participators phase, and phase emancipatory. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection instruments are interviews and observations on location and also based on documents/ records/reports and legislation relating to the matter being investigated. The focus of this research is based on the initial phase, the phase of the participatory, emancipatory phase. These results indicate that the empowerment strategy DinKop UMKM in empowering Small, Mikro, and Medium Enterprises is not running optimally. Empowerment undertaken by the government in the initial phase is quite a role in providing training and counseling. The next step of participatory society and government have collaborated in developing UMKM. While the government is still constrained emancipatory phase of the provision of facilities and infrastructure in the development of UMKM.

This research is to find out the perceptions of micro, small and medium enterprises to modern stores, MSME partnerships with modern stores, constraints, and the role of the government in overcoming the problems of modern shops and MSMEs in Padangsidimpuan City. This research is a descriptive qualitative study by conducting in-depth interviews. The results showed the perception of MSMEs towards modern stores had a negative and positive impact. The negative impact, the income of MSMEs has decreased. The positive impact, the presence of modern stores motivates MSMEs to evaluate themselves from modern stores. The partnership established by MSMEs with modern stores is the use of business locations provided by modern stores. The constraints of MSMEs are business capital, human resources, business legality, business permits and products, while the constraints of modern stores are business permits, human resources and partnerships with MSMEs. The role of the City Government of Padangsidimpuan is for modern stores, namely to give an appeal not to add to modern store outlets and to call for partnerships in terms of marketing local MSME products. For MSMEs, facilitate MSMEs with banking institutions in terms of providing venture capital, training and guidance to MSMEs, and making packaging houses.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the international business strategy, key driving factors and the major barriers that may hinder the internationalisation progress of Malaysian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Design/methodology/approach – Based on the aims of the study, the paper encompasses both quantitative and qualitative data. For quantitative data, structured questionnaires were used, and a total of 216 SMEs that engaged in international business participated using purposeful sampling, covering all the states in Peninsular Malaysia. For the collection of qualitative data, the study involved in-depth interviews with 25 owners/managers of SMEs. Findings – The findings indicate that the motives of SMEs for international expansion are varied, and that SMEs still face many institutional challenges, which have prevented them from making a greater contribution. Research limitations/implications – Due to lack of resources, firms from West Malaysia were included. West Malaysian firms may well possess characteristics concerning the challenges and issues to internationalisation that are unique to their region. Originality/value – The paper addresses a knowledge gap in respect of the internationalisation process of SMEs in the context of Southeast Asia. The findings of this paper will have relevance for policymaking and supportive measures at the government level to create an environment that will stimulate the competitiveness of SMEs in their attempts for internationalisation.

Along with the times, the existence of traditional culture began to be displaced and replaced with western culture. Preservation efforts continue by the government and also the local cultural community so that the existence of traditional culture is not only a historical trail but can be seen, felt and also enjoyed by generations of children and grandchildren. The writing of this article aims to illustrate the tangible form of gratitude to God for the favors that have been given and the traditions of the people that have an impact on life. The research method used is descriptive qualitative data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Sedekah Bumi must have positive values for life such as religious values and social values. Sedekah Bumi can be used as a medium of learning in social and cultural life that can maintain the characteristics of the indigenous people of the area.

ABSTRAKPengelolaan dan manajemen bisnis dalam usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) masih menjadi permasalahan yang seringkali diabaikan oleh kebanyakan para pelaku UMKM. Masalah ini disebabkan karena masih minimnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan manajerial tentang bisnis yang dimiliki oleh SDM di UMKM tersebut. Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan solusi tas masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra binaan, khususnya di UMKM Desa Kerinjing, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan. Fokus utama dalam pengabdian ini adalah memberikan berbagai pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam kaitannya dengan prinsip dasar manajemen bisnis yang baik, diantaranya yaitu tentang pemberdayaan dan peningkatan kompetensi SDM UMKM melalui pelatihan aplikasi marketplace. Disrupsi ekonomi digital dan adanya pandemi Covid-19 merupakan peluang yang seharusnya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh para pelaku usaha kecil untuk beralih ke bisnis online. Hal ini diupayakan untuk seiring sejalan dengan program pemerintah yang berupaya mewujudkan sebanyak 30juta UMKM untuk beralih ke bisnis online pada tahun 2024. Adapun khalayak sasaran yang menjadi mitra dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah para pelaku UMKM di Desa Kerinjing, Kecamatan Tanjung Raja, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Metode dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, tutorial aplikasi, dan diskusi. Kata kunci: manajemen; marketplace; SDM; UMKM; desa kerinjing. ABSTRACTBusiness management in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is a problem that is often ignored by most MSME entrepreneurs. This problem is caused by the lack of knowledge and managerial skills about the business owned by human resources in the MSMEs. The purpose of this community service is to provide solutions to problems faced by partners, especially in SMEs in Desa Kerinjing, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. The main focus in this service is to provide various assistance and training related to the basic principles of good business management, including the empowerment and improvement of MSME human resources competencies through marketplace application training. Disruption of the digital economy and the Covid-19 pandemic are opportunities that should be used by small business entrepreneurs to move to online business. This is in accordance with the program that has been launched by the government, namely "30 million MSMEs go digital by 2024". The target audience who are partners in this community service are MSME entrepreneurs in Desa Kerinjing, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) which are now better known as micro and small enterprises play an important role in the growth of the Indonesian economy. The company carries out a SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, and Threat) in determining marketing strategies. The respondents in this study are tofu producers, suppliers, consumers, governments, competitors and marketing institutions of Tahu Teguh Pribadi. Where this analysis consists of 2 analysis variables, namely an analysis of internal factors consisting of strengths and weaknesses, and external analysis consisting of opportunities and threats. The IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) matrix shows that the strength and weakness factors have a total score of 3.01. The EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy) matrix shows that opportunity and threat factors have a total value of 3.16. Based on the Cartesian diagram shows that Usaha Tahu Teguh Pribadi is in the Growth quadrant where the quadrant is a very favorable situation. S-O strategy (Strenght-Opportunity) then obtained the factor that must be maintained to be able to take the opportunities that are: Improving product quality by utilizing technological developments to maintain consumer trust and forming associations / unions of business entrepreneurs to maintain bargaining positions against suppliers. The W-O strategy (Weakness-Opportunity) obtained results, namely: Increasing sales volume through product diversification by utilizing culinary policies and improving the quality of human resources through programs from the government. S-T strategy (Great Strenght) shows results: Improving quality and maintaining product continuity with good production management to improve competitiveness. And can improve marketing efficiency by establishing W-T (Weakness-Threat) Strategy partnership relationship, namely: Use simple SOPsfor effectiveness and efficiency. As well as increasing capital and promotion networks through product packaging and increasing human resources

This study aims to (1) describe the competence of Human Resources (HR), intellectual capital and the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in the production of Sasirangan, a typical cloth of South Kalimantan (2) Analyze the influence of the level of competence of Human Resources ( HR) and intellectual capital on the performance of Sasirangan MSMEs. (3) Analyzing the competence of Human Resources (HR) and intellectual capital have a dominant effect on the performance of Sasirangan SMEs. Associative research method on 40 respondents taken by total sampling method. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the competence of Human Resources (HR) and intellectual capital had a positive and significant effect on the performance of MSMEs. Between these two variables, intellectual capital has a more dominant influence on Sasirangan MSMEs.

This study aims to describe the meaning of non-compliance with taxes, especially for taxpayers of small and medium enterprises. The background of this research is that there is a phenomenon that is not all taxpayers' fulfill their tax obligations in accordance with the provisions of tax regulations. Resistance that occurs in carrying out tax obligations depends on how tax interpreters interpret non-compliance. This study used a qualitative approach with the Schutz interpretive phenomenology as a research method. The phenomenology method focuses on the object of exploration to gain knowledge. Data was obtained through interviews with small business taxpayers. This study found the motives of taxpayers in carrying out their tax obligations. Which consisted of six elements, namely:  situations those were dilematic, opportunistic, distrust, injustice, not willing, and saving yourself. The motive must be found first, because based on Schutz's interpretive phenomenology method, someone will interpret something depending on the motive in interpreting something. From the motives that have been known, it can be concluded that in order to carry out their tax obligations, taxpayers need trust, both for the government, and for God.

Abstrak: Analisis Dampak Covid 19 Pada UMKM Provinsi Gorontalo. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana dampak covid 19 pada Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah yang ada di wilayah Provinsi Gorontalo. Sejak diberlakukannya kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar oleh Pemerintah Indonesia dan Pemerintah Provinsi Gorontalo khususnya, banyak pelaku-pelaku usaha mengalami kesulitan dalam krisis pandemic ini. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian statistik deskriptif, hasil temuan menyatakan bahwa pandemic covid 19 ini sangat berdampak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi UMKM di Provinsi Gorontalo terutama pada aspek hutang usaha yang meningkat selama masa pandemic, aspek perolehan omzet yang berdampak pada penurunan laba usaha serta dari aspek jangkauan pemasaran yang juga ikut menurun.Kata Kunci: Hutang Usaha; Penurunan Laba; Jangkauan Pemasaran; Covid 19; UMKMAbstract: Analysis of The Impact of Covid 19 On MSMES In Gorontalo Province. Since the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions policy by the Government of Indonesia and the Provincial Government of Gorontalo in particular, many business actors have experienced difficulties in this pandemic crisis. By using the descriptive statistical research method, the findings state that the Covid 19 pandemic has a very significant impact on the economic growth of MSMEs in Gorontalo Province, especially in the aspect of business debt which increased during the pandemic, the aspect of turnover which has an impact on decreasing operating profits as well as from the aspect of marketing outreach. which also declined. The contribution of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is very important in supporting the growth of the Indonesian economy. In the continuity of the business, surely good management is needed. Management should be able to prepare financial statements so the accounting information that contained within it can be beneficial to the business. This study aims to determine the benefits of accounting information for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Padang city. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out by interviews with informants using guidelines for interviews and documentation. The informants in this study are three small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that already preparing financial statements consisting of statements of financial position and income statements. The results of the study showed that accounting information beneficial for SMEs assisting in decision making process and accountability. Keyword: acounting information, small medium enterprises (smes), financial statement
