Snowball throwing method is one method to improve student’s motivation to learn and student’s achievement in mathematic. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of the research is the class VIIIA SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta. It is conducted in two cycles, each cycles consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The data revealed from observation, questionnaire, test and documentation. The result of the research was there are increasing student’s motivation and student’s achievement. Suggestions researchers , teachers can use the learning model as an alternative to snowball throwing in an effort to improve learning motivation and student achievement in math.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Genting 01 pada pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek semua siswa kelas IV melalui II siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Rata--rata nilai motivasi belajar siswa pada kondisi awal 43,15, Siklus I 60,7 dan Siklus II 83,95.Rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa pada kondisi awal 54,15, pada Siklus I 75,75 dan Siklus II 89,25. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Genting 02. Abstract: The main purpose of the research is to increase student’s motivation and academic achievment of fourth grade at SD Negeri Genting 01 of mathematic using Numbered Head Together of cooperative learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research with the subject all of students at fourth grade through 2 cycles. Data collection is done by using test and non test techniques. An average of learning motivation at initial condition  showed 43,15, in cycle I 60,7 and cycle II 83,95. An average of students academic achievment at initial condition showed 54,15 in cycle I 75,75 and at cycle II 89,25. It was concluded that used Numbered Head Together cooperative learning model can increase students motivation and academic achievment of fourth grade at SD Negeri Genting 01.

Collecting the data in this study using sheets of observations made every meeting. he background of this study is the low learning outcomes of English students. Of the 22 students only 9 studentsreached KKM. On this basis researchers do research by applying cooperative learning model type NHT toimprove English learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research conducted in SMPN 1 Inuman,the subject of this study is the students of class VII with the number of 22 students. The results suggest that thelearning outcomes of English have increased in each cycle. This is evidenced by: In the basic score of thenumber of students who reached KKM or complete is 9 students (40.90%), the UH I has increased with thenumber of 17 students (77.27%) and in UH II increased with the number of 20 students (90.90%). In the basicscore of the learning result of the students get the value of 51,25 with the low category, at UH I experiencing theincrease of learning result with the acquisition value of 65,76 with the medium category, and at UH II studentlearning result again increase with the acquisition value equal to 79,25 with high category.

Teacher has a very important role in creating an exciting and enjoyable learning environment in math lessons.Learning atmosphere is not exciting and fun for students usually to create learning activities that are less harmonious.As in SD 06 Perawang Barat is still low learning achievement of mathematics students, especially VD class with the number of students 32 people.Based on the mathematical repetition value of grade VD students contained in table 1 can be concluded that most students have not reached the established KKM that is 60 in 2012/2013           Another effort that teachers do is to provide practice questions (PR). Then the teacher also repeats the material that the students have not understood. But the effort made by the teacher has not achieved the expected result; low student learning achievement to mathematics is a material for researchers, that the need for mathematics learning that can improve the results of learning mathematics.               The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student achievement on the subject matter of the fractional matter in the VD SDN 06 Perawang Barat class in the even semester of the academic year 2012/2013?       The form of this research is collaborative classroom action research, in collaborative classroom action research involving teachers, principals, and outsiders in one team simultaneously, with the aim of improving learning outcomes, the development of theory and teacher performance improvement. This team relationship is a partnership, meaning that the position of team members with each other is the same that aims to think about the issues to be studied in classroom action research. In this case the researcher serves as a teacher. Action will be done is in order to improve the results of teaching mathematics at class VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat.               The data in this study were collected with observation sheet and mathematics learning result test. Observations were made to the activities of the students and teachers during the learning process for each meeting by filling out the observation sheets that have been filled in by observing the observation sheets of each teacher and student behavior on the observation sheet. While data is about mathematics learning result collected through daily test (UH1) and daily test (UH2) which contains problem based on indicator that will be achieved based on lattice test result of learning.               The data obtained in this research is then analyzed through descriptive analysis.Descriptive data analysis aims to describe data about student learning outcomes on subject matter using in problem solving.               Based on the results of research and discussion concluded that the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student learning achievement at VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat class on the subject matter using fractions in problem solving.

This study aims to determine whether the type cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) can improve mathematics learning creativity in students of SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Medan in particular on the subject of Perimeter and Area of Rectangle class VII T.P second semester 2014/2015. The research is a classroom action research (PTK) using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). The instrument used was a test as much as 5 about the shape of the description and in the observation is the creativity of student learning. The subjects were students / student of class VII-C SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Medan totaling 38 people consisting of 21 male students and 17 female students. The object of this research is the creativity of mathematics learning using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). Obtaining the average value of the creativity of the students at an early test of 41.26% (Less), the first cycle increased to 59.15% (Enough), and the second cycle increased to 79.10% (Good). It can be concluded that the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) on the subject of the circumference and area of a rectangle increased creativity of mathematics learning in class VII-C SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Medan T.P.2014 / 2015.

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning result and activities by using the cooperative learning model of Talking Chips type on the subject matter of Biodiversity in class X MIA1 MAN 1 Medan T.P. 2018/2019. The research method is classroom action research and the subject of this research are students of class X MIA1 as many as 35 people. The instrument that used in the study are test of student learning result namely pretest and postest as many as 30 questions and observation sheets of student activities. The results showed that based on the learning result of the first cycle, the average score of pretest was 40.6 increased to 68.6 in the postest. At the second cycle, there was an increase from 62.8 in the pretest to 74.5 in the postest. In this study, the data of individual and classical learning completeness criteria are obtained as follows: as many as 30 out of 35 students or 85.72% who scored above 70 or equal to 70, and 5 other students or 14.28% got a score below 70. Based on observations of student activities, the percentage of students who were active in the first cycle was 48.2% with total of students 17 out of 35 students, and students who were active in the second cycle was 80% with total of students 28 from 35 students

ABSTRACTThis study aims to improve students' mathematical communication skills through the application of cooperative learning model Match Mine on the subject of integers in classVII MTs2 Medan. This type of researchis a classroom action research. The subjects were students of class VII-1 MTs 2 Terra in TA 2014/2015 which amounted to 42students. The object of this research is the students' mathematical communication skills through cooperative learning model Match Mine on  the     subject of         integers. The research instrument used is th eobservation and test mathematical communication skills. This study consisted two cycles and at the end of each cycleis given test comunication is mathematical ability. Before given, test           first      validated to the  validator. The results showed that cooperative learning model in the material Match Mine integer scan improve students' mathematical communication. It is seen from the results before action is given, the provisi on of diagnostics tests of 42 students only as many as 15 students (35.72%), which reached a value ≥ 65 with an average value of 58.18 class. After agiven action, the first mathematical communication skills tests in the first cycle, from 42 students as many as 25 students (59.52%) reached a value ≥ 65 with an average value of 66.95 class. From theanalysis ofthe test data communication capabilities mathematicalI on the second cycle of 42 people found that the students are 37 students (88.09%) reached a value ≥65 with an average value of 74.38 class. Based on observation, learning management research conducted in the first cycle, including both categories with a scoreof 2.87. Furthermore,in the second cycle, the researcher's ability to manage the learning increased to 3.40 so very good category. Based on the above results, it can be conclude edthatby implementing cooperative learning model Match Mine can improve students' mathematica lcommunication on the subject of integers in class VII MTs 2 Medan. Suggestions submitted to the seventh grade math teacher at MTs Negeri 2 Medan advis able to provide training to students that many require students to provide arguments that students' mathematical communication skills especially in explaining aspect scan be increased, as well asprovide the opportunity for students express ideas/ideas verbally/ writing in the learning process, andusing learning modelKeywords : mathematical communication, communication, secondary school, classroom action                      research, match mine.

<p>One way to improve students' self-confidence is to implement a collaborative learning model. Improving students' self-confidence using collaborative learning models can be done by conducting classroom action research. The subject of this class action research is the students of class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta School Year 2015/2016 consisting of thirty two students. This study consists of two cycles. Technique Data collection used is test and non test. The instrument of this study is the test of student achievement and student confidence questionnaire. Data analysis techniques consisted of the conversion of qualitative data to quantitative and student mastery calculation. The average of student achievement before treatment is 40.3125 with the complete proportion of students is 3.125% and after treatment is 87.9167 with proportion of student which is complete is 100%. The average student self-confidence before treatment was 96.46875 with moderate category and after treatment was 109.2188 with high category. The results showed that collaborative learning model can improve student's self-confidence.</p>

The condition of the covid-19 pandemic that requires applying physical distancing so that face-to-face learning cannot be done and learning is forced to be done online (online) and students' motivation to learn biology is still low. This classroom action research aims to increase students' motivation to learn biology in class XI IPS-1 at SMAN 1 Masbagik and describe the increase in motivation to learn biology at class XI IPS-1 at SMAN 1 Masbagik through Google Classroom-based E-Learning. The research method used is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles of 30 students. Data collection techniques through observation and motivation questionnaires. The implementation of E-Learning based on Google Classroom is stated in the very good, good, quite good, poor, and not good categories, while the motivation to learn mathematics is stated in the very high, high, medium, low and very low categories. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded as follows: 1) the implementation of E-Learning based on Google Classroom in the first cycle in the fairly good category and in the second cycle in the good category. 2) Biology learning motivation of students in class XI IPS-1 SMA Negeri 1 Masbagik in the first cycle is low, the second cycle is moderate, namely in the first cycle the average motivation to learn biology is 66.3% while in the second cycle it increases to 72.4%. Keywords: E-Learning, Google Classroom, Motivation to Study Biology Abstrak Kondisi pandemic covid-19 yang mengharuskan menerapkan Pysical distencing sehingga pembelajaran tatap muka tidak bisa dilakukan dan terpaksa pembelajaran dilakukan secara online (daring) dan masih rendahnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar biologi. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar biologi siswa kelas XI IPS-1 SMAN 1 Masbagik dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan motivasi belajar biologi siswa kelas XI IPS-1 SMAN 1 Masbagik melalui E-Learning berbasis Google Classroom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus terhadap 30 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan angket motivasi. Keterlaksanaan E-Learning berbasis Google Classroom dinyatakan dengan kategori sangat baik, baik, cukup baik, kurang baik, dan tidak baik, sedangkan motivasi belajar matematika dinyatakan dengan kategori sangat tinggi, tinggi, sedang, rendah dan sangat rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan hal-hal sebagai berikut: 1) keterlaksanaan E-Learning bebasis Google Classroom pada siklus I pada kategori cukup baik dan pada siklus II pada kateori baik. 2) Motivasi belajar biologi siswa kelas XI IPS-1 SMA Negeri 1 Masbagik pada siklus I rendah, siklus dua sedang, yaitu pada siklus I rata-rata motivasi belajar biologi adalah 66,3% sedangkan pada siklus II naik menjadi 72,4%. This research is based on the lack of student learning motivation on Civics subjects such as: From 26 students,13 (50%) less active in learning process, this can be seen from the lack of student responses to the materialtaught by the teacher in front of the class. 15 students or 58% of students less serious in following the learningprocess, it is seen from very few students who pay attention to the teacher during the learning process takesplace. Students are less passionate about learning. Based on these symptoms researchers are interested toconduct a classroom action research with the aim of improving the motivation of learning Civics students ofclass V SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru through the application of cooperative learning model of buttoned jingletechnique. This research was conducted in class V SD N 157 Pekanbaru with 26 students. Based on the results ofresearch known that in cycle I after repaired in cycle II turns out student learning motivation increases with theapplication of cooperative learning model of buttoned jingling technique. The increase is seen in cycle II. In thefirst cycle of student learning motivation is obtained low classification with an average of 50.6%, and increasedin cycle II with very high classification with an average of 78.8.
