Abstract. This research has been made to know skill of student’s concept by using active learning strategy everyone is teacher here (ETH). Beside that this study aims to measure student’s concept understanding with statistical test between Experimental Class (Active Learning Strategy Everyone Is Teacher Here) and control class (Conventional Learning ). The population was seventh grade of SMPN 3 Lirik consist 94 students in three classes. Sample was took randomly, experiment class ( VII.2 ) and control class ( VII.I ) This research was experiment, the form of this research was Quasi Experimental Design with randomized subject posttest only control group design. based on statistic data processing has been retrieved - t hitung -3,159 smaller than - t table was -2,000 and based on t test has been retrieved -thitung < -t table so Ho rejected and Ha received. So that the writer conclude that skill of math student’s concept understanding by using active learning Strategy Everyone Is Teacher Here (ETH) is better than conventional concept understanding.Keywords: Everyone Is A Teacher Here, Concept Understanding

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Topical Review (TR) dan yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Jeopardy Review (JR) pada kelas X SMAN 16 Makassar. Pendekatan penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIA SMAN 16 Makassar. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep peserta didik berupa tes dengan menggunakan soal essay sebanyak 5 nomor untuk pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan uji-t. Dari hasil analisis inferensial diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,614 yang lebih besar dari dari pada α sebesar 0,05 (sig. > α). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Topical Review dan yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Jeopardy Review di kelas X SMAN 16 Makassar.  AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the differences in understanding the mathematical concepts of students who were taught using the Topical Review (TR) type of active learning strategy and those taught using the Jeopardy Review (JR) type of active learning strategy in class X SMAN 16 Makassar. This research approach is a quantitative approach. This type of research is Quasi-Experimental with the research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study was all students of class X MIA SMAN 16 Makassar. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The instrument used to determine students' understanding of the concept was a test using 5 numbers essay questions for the pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with t-test. From the inferential analysis results obtained a significant value of 0.614 which is greater than α of 0.05 (sig.> Α). Thus it can be concluded that there is no difference in understanding the mathematical concepts of students who are taught with the Topical Review type active learning strategy and those taught with the Jeopardy Review type active learning strategy in class X SMAN 16 Makassar.

The aim of this study was to find out (1) To know the influence of active learning strategy video critic to students’ attention on the subject material global warming in grade VII of SMP Muhammadiyah Jayapura. (2). To know the influence of active learning strategy video critic to students’ learning result on the subject material global warming in grade VII of SMP Muhammadiyah Jayapura. The kind of the research is quantitative.The  research design used is Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population is all students grade VII of SMP Muhammadiyah Jayapura. The taking of sample is conducted with the technique of purposive sampling. And class VII D as the class control and VII D as class experiment. The instruments used are survey, observation, and objective test questions. The data is analyzed with the simple regression test. The result of the researchshows that : (1) There is significant influence to students’s attention in following learning process by using active learning strategy of video critic with the score of is bigger than  (2,90>2,045). (2) There is significant influence between the students’ learning result in the class experiment by using the active learning strategy video critic with the score of is bigger than  ( 2,292>2,045).

This research aims to know the effect of group investigation learning on student’s science process skill based on their IQ in SMAN 1 Mataram for eleventh grade students. This is a quasi experimental study using pretest postest control group design design. Pretest was taken to get data of student’s IQ. Posttest was also conducted to measure student’s science process skill. Sample was taken using nonprobability sampling from the population of eleventh grade student in SMAN 1 Mataram.The sample was two group of student each from two class, class XI sains 6 and as experimental group and class XI sains 5 as control group. The average os Student’s IQ on experimental group and control group were equal, both at 112. Learning processes were 12 x 45 minutes long in total. The experimental group showed better average score on posttest where they scored 82.40 on average, while control group only scored 74.83 on average. This value is statistically significant, at p = 0.007, less that 0.005. This result shows that implementation of group investigation can increase student’s science process skill.Keywords: Group investigation, science process skill, intelligence Quotient (IQ)ABSTRACT

This research describes the differences of student’s learning with the application of cooperative learning type make a match in the electrolyte and non-electrolyte at the X grade student’s of the Madrasah Aliya DDI Lonja. This research used quasi experimental with non randomized pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted with two groups: XA as the experimental (n=21) XB as the control group (n=18). The data findings means score of experimental group (X1) is 70,5 with the standard deviation 9,6 and the control group (X2) is 62.0 with the standard deviation is 6. Based on the results, the researcher concludes cooperative learning type make a match has better than control class that used conventional learning model.

This research aims at developing Speaking Skill through Interview. Its method was quasi-experimental research non-equivalent control group design. Its population was the students of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Palu, in which consists of thirteen parallel classes. The experimental class consists of 29 students and control class consists of 30 students. It was done in eight meetings. The variables of this research were speaking skill and interview. The samples of this research were students of grade VIII C and VIII D, selected through cluster sampling technique. Its results indicate that the application of interview has overcome the students’ problem. After analyzing them, the result of t-counted was 10.01. By applying degree of freedom (df) 57(29+30-2), and the level significant 0.05, the value of t-table was 2.00. So,  the value of t-counted was higher than t-table. It means that the hypothesis of this research was accepted. Thus, the interview can be applied to develop speaking skill of students grade VIII  at  SMP Negeri 1 Palu.

This study aimed to answer whether using chessboard technique in responding to short story develops student’s speaking skill or not. The method used in this study was one of the quasi-experimental designs: pretest-posttest non-equivalent comparison control group design. The population of the study was the eleventh-grade student at SMA N 12Palembang and the sample were taken from the population by using purposive sampling. The data were collected by using two instruments, test and questionnaire. The test wasgiven twice to the experimental and control group, as the pretest and the posttest. Thequestionnaire was distributed to the experimental group after conducting the treatment to get more information related to the problem of the study. To verify the hypothesis, thedata from pretest and posttest on the experimental and control group were analyzed byusing paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The result of the study showed that applying chessboard technique in responding to the short story develops student’s speaking skills. Some students (60%) in the experimental group achieve good category compared to only a few students (20%) in control group.

This research is conducted to reveal the influence of Discovery Learning method toward students’ concept understanding improvement on Introduction of Economy and Business subject in SMKN 1 Bandung. The method used in this research is quasi experimental with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The data analysis teknik with parametric statistical,  test of difference (paired samples t-test and independent samples t-test), gain score and effect size calculationused in this research is SPSS v21. The result shown that the use of Discovery Learning method is more effective toimprove the understanding of the concept than the ExpositoryLearning method does.

This research is motivated by the importance of mathematical communication ability. Mathematical communication ability of students is still low. In order that this problem can be solved, a learning model that can enhance mathematical communication ability of students is required. In this research, CORE model learning with scientific approach was selected. This study aims to analyze the enhancement of mathematical communication ability. This research was a quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The population was students in eighth grade in one of the junior high schools in Jambi.  The sample consisted of two classes which were selected by purposive sampling. The instrument of this research is a test of mathematical communication ability. The data were analyzed by using Independent t-test. Based on the data analyzed, it is found that: The enhancement of mathematical communication ability of students who received the CORE learning model with scientific approach is better than the enhancement of students who received conventional learning.

Abstract This study aimed to investigate the effect of the online PhET simulation-assisted using the direct instruction on students’ conceptual understanding of the parabolic motion. It was quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were 10th grade students, consisting of 20 students for each experimental and control groups. The data were collected using a concept understanding test. The research data were analyzed quantitatively by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show that the average score of the experimental class was higher than the control class. The hypothesis was tested using Mann-Whitney (U-Test) with a significance level of = 0.05. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of online PhET simulation assisted learning model on students’ concept understanding on parabolic motion.

The ability of students of SMAN 1 Bukittinggi in studying history, especially in interpreting the facts are still low. To overcome these problems the writer try to applied active learning strategies Three Stage of Fishbowl Decision types (TSFD). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of active learning strategies on learning outcomes of TSFD type in the result of studying history, especially in the interpretation of historical facts. This research is experimental with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research. The results showed that active learning strategies of the type of TSFD were good for interpreting historical fact. However, after further analysis based on the pattern of growth or movement changes, in the process of active learning strategies of TSFD type was suitable to be applied. Furthermore, for the facts are based on royal topics of TSFD strategy that has turned out as good for the material that is repetition. Based on the analysis conducted it is believed that active learning strategies of TSFD type is better used on materials that complete require repetition.
