<p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong><strong><em>: </em></strong><em></em></p><p><em>Regency of Southwest Maluku is one of the districts in the archipelago region of the State of Indonesia. The area of Southwest Maluku Regency (MBD) is very strategic because it is close to the State of Timor Leste and the Australian Continent. The most dominant tourist attraction in the district of MBD is marine tourism consisting of beaches and natural beauty under the sea. The author is interested in exploring areas that have potential interest in MBD. Research is done by studying the literature by looking for secondary information. The vastness of the territorial sea and tourism of the district of MBD becomes the capital for tourism development. Labuan Bajo is wellknown tourism destination to foreign countries. The uniqueness of Labuan Bajo is in the natural panorama and marine tourism. This makes Labuan Bajo become a super priority destination of Indonesia's tourism development. Tourism development includes attractions, accessibility, amenities, and ancillary. Labuan Bajo is still faced with contraints regarding the development of the four components of tourism products, so that the tourism potential has not been optimally developed. The purpose of this study is to find out the tourism potential in Labuan Bajo, and contraints in the development of four components products. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive. The Data collected by interview, observation, and documentation study methods are interpreted to obtain a comprehensive analysis. The results of the study show that many tourism potential that can be developed into a tourist attraction. All of this potential is supported by good amenities and branding of Labuan Bajo as a world class tourism destination. But there are fundamental problems in the development of tourism in Labuan Bajo. These problems are human resources that are not qualified in shaping tourist attraction, geographical conditions that require a lot of costs in developing accessibility, spatial planning that has not supported the development of amenities, and mismatches between the central government and local government in tourism development. Mantang  Besar and Mantang Kecil islands contain marine resources that can be developed for ma-rine tourism activities. For the above purpose, a study is needed to assess the potential of the islands. The objectives of this study were: (1) to analyze the sustainability potential of marine tourism on Man-tang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands and (2) to determine the policy and strategy to develop marine tourism in Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands. Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) with Rapid Appraisal Index Sustainability of Ecotourism approach was used for the sustainability analysis of the marine tourism potential in both islands. The results showed that the sustainability status of marine tourism potential on Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands for A dimension (ecology) was in ave-rage of 50.4592 within the category of sustainable, for B dimension (socio-economic) with average of 31.6113 within the category of less sustainable, and C dimension (institutional-technology) with ave-rage of 32.5581 wihtin the category of less sustainable. For the succes of the strategy development, B dimension should be prioritized and followed by B and C dimensions.                                                                                   Keywords: MCA, marine tourism development strategy, Anambas islands

Tourism has long been considered as one of the leading sector and the biggest incomes generator for Karangasem Regency. The Regency was rich in cultural diversity and the natural beauty of the lands. Karangasem has a large tourism potential to develop the community-based tourism. Besides the natural and cultural attractions which form the main part of attracting reasons of the regency, Karangasem was also considered to have a good strategic location for business development. However, Karangasem could be a magnet for domestics tourists and foreigners who are not only come from neighbor countries but also countries all around the globe. This article aims at describing the concepts of the community-based tourism development which were taken from some sources and the possibility of the community-based tourism development adapted in tourism development in Karangasem Regency, Bali Province, seen from the tourism potential that Karangasem has. tourism development, community-based tourism development, Karangasem Regency.

Bonto Tiro Subdistrict is one of the areas in Bulukumba Regency which has a tourism potential that can be developed as a marine tourism attraction, one of which is the Samboang beach, where the beach has beautiful panoramic views with white sandy beaches, and the presence of coral reefs. can be used as one of the attractions, besides the underwater scenery is also reliable and is also a potential area for the development of marine tourism, this research is focused on aspects of developing tourist destinations with various components of tourism destinations in Samboang Beach, Bonto Tiro District, Bulukumba Regency. This study aims to find out how the development of tourism destinations in the Samboang beach through 4 tourism components, namely Attraction, Accessibility, Ancillary, Amenity in supporting marine tourism destinations so that they develop even more. This research is qualitative research with an observation approach, and research instruments in the form of a list of interviews, field observations and literature studies, while the theories underlying this research are tourism destination theory and tourism development theory. And from the research results obtained by researchers, it can be concluded that the development of marine tourism destinations is very supportive in developing the region as an area that has a tourist attraction.

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung potensi ekonomi pariwisata Kabupaten Pulau Morotai. Kabupaten Pulau Morotai sebagai Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Pariwisata Bahari menjadikan pariwisata sebagai salah satu sumber pemasukan daerah karena atraksi wisata yang ada berdasarkan potensi sumber daya alam dan peninggalan sejarah. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif metode deskritif dan desk study. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis benefit transfer dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai yang menggunakan metode travel cost method (TCM). Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi, daya tarik wisata di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai adalah wisata alam seperti wisata alam bawah laut, wisata pantai serta wisata budaya dari hasil peninggalan sejarah diantaranya peninggalansejarah Perang Dunia II. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan daya tarik wisata di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai potensi ekonomi Pariwisata Kabupaten Pulau Morotai adalah Rp13.295.140.000. Nilai ini disumbang dari wisatawan domestik dan wisatawan mancanegara yang berkunjung ke Kabupaten Pulau Morotai selama 4 -11 hari. Memasukan potensi ekonomi dalam dokumen perencanaan pengembangan pariwisata Kabupaten Pulau Morotai merupakan salah satu dasar dasar untuk membuka pintu investasi baik untuk menanamkan modal dalam pengembangan pariwisata.Title: Economic Potential of Tourism at the Morotai Island RegencyABSTRACTThis research aims to calculate economic potential of tourism at Morotai Island Regency. Regency of Morotai has tourist attraction due to its natural resources and historical heritage. It is branded as Special Economic Zone (KEK) of Marine Tourism and make tourism as one of the source of its regional income. This research used descriptive qualitative and desk study method. The data is analyzed using benefit transfer analysis from the previous research which uses travel cost method (TCM). Based on interview and observation, marine tourism such as underwater travel, beach and cultural attraction, is a leading tourist attraction at Morotai Island Regency. Tourist attraction calculates the number of economic potential of tourism at Regency of Morotai Island amount IDR 13.295.140.000. It is contributed mostly from domestic and foreign travelers who traveled to Morotai Island for 4 to 11 days. Therefore, economic  potential of tourism will lead to investment in tourism development.


East Nusa Tenggara Province surrounded by many potentials nature-based attractions, one of them is Mulut Seribu beach, in the Rote Ndao Regency. This beach is one of seven priority tourist attractions by the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government. Local Government initiation is welcomed by the local community and this research aims to create a strategy to develop the Mulut Seribu beach attraction with marine-based tourism to support sustainability. The research type is using descriptive qualitative, with interviewing stakeholders from five key informants living around the tourist attraction namely government representatives, tourists, and the local community. The results showed that according to SWOT analysis Mulut Seribu Beach is among Curve 1, which means the development of this destination still aggressive to be developed with a concentration of development in SO, namely strength and opportunity. This result is shown by the Mulut Seribu festival as a form of coordination between community and government participation in developing marine tourism in Mulut Seribu Beach. This research has a specific purpose: (i) determine the potential of coastal area can be developed as a tourism product, (ii) Knowing constraints are faced in developing the tourism potential, and (iii) determine strategies that can be used in developing the tourism potential of the coast as a creative tourism products Yeh Gangga Beach, Sudimara village, Tabanan Bali. The general objective to be achieved is to improve the performance of the tourism sector in the welfare of society Tabanan through sustainable tourism development by developing creative potential.. The research found that (i) Yeh Gangga Beach has some potential creativity attraction, such as : art market, handycraft,video and photography, music and art performance, scenery, and accomodation; (ii) The main problems encountered are (i)Most strategic land has been switched ownership to investors. The strategy should be applied is (i) Maintain Yeh Gangga Beach as tourist attraction developed Tabanan through local regulations, (ii) increasing public awareness of tourism. The implications are (i) theoretically enriching literature of sustainability in tourism coastal area, (ii)practically could enhance the government to develop coastal tourism in Tabanan Bali.

This article analyzes the tourism potential and ecological tourism development in Kazakhstan on the example of the Kostanay region. To analyze the consumers of tourism products and services in the region, a sociological survey was conducted to determine the preferences of local residents. The aim of this study is to determine the interests, potential and attitude of the domestic market to the ecological tourism development in Kazakhstan. According to the results, it was revealed that the Kostanay region’s natural and historical sights has a rich potential for cultural and natural heritage. However, in the region there are problems of the further ecological tourism development: underdeveloped tourism infrastructure; the lack of systematic measures for the tourism development by the state body; problems with training for the industry.

The development of marine tourism area is one of the forms of tourist management areas which strive and aim to provide benefits, especially for the protection, preservation and utilization of tourism potential and environmental services of natural resources, specifically in coastal areas. In the development of marine tourism areas, it is necessary to determine the exact location of each region so that there is no imbalance between the residential growth with marine tourism areas which being managed and utilized for recreational activities. The welfare of the community can be seen from various components that can describe whether the community is already in a prosperous life or not. Visible components include the state of housing in which they live, the level of education, and health. The role of the tourism sector, especially marine tourism in Lamongan City, can be seen from its contribution to gross regional domestic product (PDRB) in terms of labor absorption and business opportunities. The increasing contribution of the trade sector, hotels, and restaurants donated to gross regional domestic product (PDRB), are an overview of the role of the tourism sector. The purpose of this study can be described as follows: 1). To find out how extent the influence of marine tourism development on community welfare in Lamongan District. 2). To find out how extent the influence of marine tourism development on GDRP growth in Lamongan District. For the method of the study, primary data collection was conducted by interview and observation, while secondary data was obtained from Lamongan Tourism Office as well as literature study, who’s the data is in the form of general conditions and the number of visitors in the area.
