East Nusa Tenggara Province surrounded by many potentials nature-based attractions, one of them is Mulut Seribu beach, in the Rote Ndao Regency. This beach is one of seven priority tourist attractions by the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government. Local Government initiation is welcomed by the local community and this research aims to create a strategy to develop the Mulut Seribu beach attraction with marine-based tourism to support sustainability. The research type is using descriptive qualitative, with interviewing stakeholders from five key informants living around the tourist attraction namely government representatives, tourists, and the local community. The results showed that according to SWOT analysis Mulut Seribu Beach is among Curve 1, which means the development of this destination still aggressive to be developed with a concentration of development in SO, namely strength and opportunity. This result is shown by the Mulut Seribu festival as a form of coordination between community and government participation in developing marine tourism in Mulut Seribu Beach. The purpose of this research is to know the management strategies of tourism Pine Lahendong and know what are the factors that’s encourages and inhibit Pine Lahendong Tourism management strategies. The problem in this research is how Tourism Pinus Lahendong management strategies and what are the factors that inhibit and encourage Tourism Pinus Lahendong management strategies. Tourism is one of the things that are important to a country, the existence of this tourism, then a country or more specifically the Government of the region where it is tourist attraction, will get the infusion of revenues per tourist attractions. The marketing strategy is basically a thorough plan, integrated and fused in the marketing field, which gives guidelines on the activities that will be executed to achieve the marketing goals of a company. Tourism Pinus Lahendong strategy and potential for managed, developed and marketed because it has beautiful natural scenery and a sulfur hot springs into a visitor attraction. This research which means to understand the phenomenon or strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats from Tourism Pinus Lahendong holistically with described it in the form of words and language so as to produce a depiction on the phenomenon that happens. the results of the SWOT analysis conducted in the Tourism development of tourism policy, then Pinus Lahendong is improving promotion through various media, to improve the existing facilities in order to provide convenience for visitors and capitalize on potential at once elaborated the opportunities that can be sold and can attract visitors.

The study aims to determine Development Strategy the potency of the Tunda Island as a tourist attraction in the Serang Regency, Banten Province. How the development of appropriate strategy to overcome obstacles in the development of Tunda Island Coast region as a Marine Tourism attraction in Serang Regency, Banten Province. This study was conducted to determine the Tunda Island as a marine tourism destination Serang Regency were reviewed by using SWOT analysis. This study uses quialitative research methods with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the research carried out that Pulau Tunda as a marine tourism attraction in Serang Regency has the power in the form of underwater natural potential that is different from other islands in Serang Regency, besides Tunda Island has a considerable opportunity for increasing tourism needs and locations that tend to strategic. However, Pulau Tunda has weaknesses in the quality of human resources as well as low tourism support facilities and garbage that has not been managed properly. Meanwhile the threat faced by Tunda Island is currently the operation of sand miners and the lack of attention from the local government.   Keywords: Development Strategy, Tunda Island, Marine Tourism


This research aimed at finding out the condition of tourist attraction of Loloan traditional houses from the internal and external aspects. This study is a descriptive qualitative study using a SWOT analysis. The informants were chosen based on purposive sampling. The results of the internal aspect analysis reveal that Loloan traditional houses are unique and have their own characteristics. Besides, other tourist attractions can support the attractiveness of Loloan traditional houses. They are Makam Keramat Buyut, a sacred cemetery, Baitul Qhadim Mosque, and Ijo Gading River. But, on another side, Loloan traditional houses also posses some weaknesses that need to be improved. Their weaknesses are no an organization manage the tourist attraction as well as the facilities which are still considered lack. The results of external aspect analysis show that Loloan traditional houses bring the possibility for the local community to earn more income and to improve their economic state. It also can be a form of culture conservation. But it cannot be neglected that Loloan traditional houses will disappear one day as most of the local people started to build their houses in modern style. The objectives of the research consisted of: (1) to identify the predominance of marine tourism activitiesand attractions in Turedawola Walo; (2) to analyze the degree of significance of activities and attractions,amenities, accessibility, local community conditions, safety, cleanliness and tourism information variablessimultaneously and partially toward Turedawola Walo marine tourism quality; and (3) to examine thedifferences between direct and indirect participation of local community in the case of TuredawolaWalo marine tourism development in North Nias Regency. This research was conducted in the villageof Afulu, Afulu District, North Nias Regency by using a descriptive quantitative research methodwith the questionnaire addressed to 63 tourist/excursionist respondents and 80 local communitiesrespondents used as samples. The results obtained were then processed and analyzed by using multiplelinear regressions analysis to evaluate the significance and prove written hypotheses simultaneouslyand partially of seven factors affecting Turedawola Walo marine tourism quality and Mann-Whitneytest to evaluate the differences between direct and indirect participation of local community in the caseof Turedawola Walo marine tourism development. Results of the research indicated that: (1) the mostpredominant activities and tourist attractions in Turedawola Walo is surfing; (2) amenities, cleanlinessand tourist information variables did not give significant contribution to the quality of Turedawola Walomarine tourism, while activities and attractions, accessibility, local community conditions, and tourismsafety variables gave significant contribution to the quality of Turedawola Walo marine tourism; and (3)indirect participation greater than direct participation of local communities indicated that the majorityof local community in Afulu village participated indirectly in the case of Turedawola Walo marinetourism development in North Nias Regency.

The purpose of this study was to determine the D'MOOAT Tourism development strategy in Moat Village, Moat District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research lasted for 3 months, from February to April 2019. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with 51 people consisting of D’MOOAT owners, employees, Sangadi (Head of Village) and visitors who came to the tourist attractions. This study uses a SWOT analysis model (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity, Threats). The results showed that the D'MOOAT tourist attraction has a very attractive tourist attraction that offers a natural panorama of the moat lake where the playground for children also offers a view of the strawberry garden and ornamental flowers which are an attraction for tourists who come to these attractions.*eprm*

The research objective was to describe the potential for waterfall tourism in Sambangan Village and to analyze strategies to develop the tourist attraction of the waterfall in Sambangan Village. Collecting data by means of observation, interviews, and document recording was analyzed with qualitative analysis to describe the potential for waterfall tourism in Sambangan Village and SWOT analysis to formulate a waterfall tourism development strategy. The results showed (1) classification of waterfall tourism potential in Sambangan Village, namely the classification of low tourism potential (Barak Wall Waterfall), medium tourism potential classification (Changing Waterfall, Dedari Waterfall, Cemara Waterfall), and high tourism potential classification ( Aling Aling Waterfall, Kembar Waterfall, Kroya Waterfall, Pucuk Waterfall) and (2) A strategic plan for developing a waterfall tourist attraction, namely by developing and improving various components including tourist attractions, accessibility, facilities, institutions, and preservation. environment to increase tourists to the waterfall in Sambangan Village.

Halal tourism development in Lombok has been increasing the number of visitor. Successfully applied in various sectors, one of them in halal tourism. Setanggor Tourism Village is a form of tourism development through the concept of halal tourism. The main purpose of this tourist village is a rich blend of interesting, traditional art of culture and religion, meaning is presented in the form of synergy between the feel of a quiet rural community with a distinctive local cultures. This tourist village a lot of progress since the establishment Pokdarwis in 2016, where development is most visible in terms of halal tourism quality of programs tourist attraction. Pokdarwis is in charge of organizing the thing of development of tourist attractions which are managed by the local community. The Pokdarwis role was seen in the process of design creation, and implementation, and management of halal tourism activities, including the people that the eventualities of some stakeholders is that further strengthens the existence of Setanggor Village to improve the identity of halal, tourism.Keywords:The Pokdarwis Role, Halal Tourism Development, Setanggor Village

This article examines the implementation of CBT model in the development of the Semambu Island Tourism Village. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive research type. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique, and collecting data is done by in-depth interviews. This study aims to describe the application of CBT (Community Based Tourism) in the management of Semambu Island Tourism Village, the role of various stakeholders, and development in the management and development of Semambu Island Tourism Village in North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The results showed the concept of CBT applied to achieve tourism planning in this place was applied in the form of local community participation, the establishment of a tourism protection village, management of tourist attraction with an environmental perspective and the creation of community business activities. Management of tourist attractions in the Semambu Island Village emerged from the discovery of local communities. With several considerations concerning the development of Semambu Island Tourism Village, it still needs funding assistance from the local government, providing facilities and infrastructure as a tourist attraction, increasing the number of tourists, and the still limited ideas to add complementary businesses and Semambu Island Tourism Village.

Purpose: This research aims to determine the tourism potential based on the community’s perception of the existing natural resource and determining the management strategies for the tourism area. Research methods: The research method used in this study is the survey method. This research method was divided into two steps, including data collection using the snowball method and data analysis carried out with a descriptive method for the potential of tourism development and qualitative- quantitative approaches based on the perceptions of the local community to determine the development strategy. Results and discussions: The results showed that several natural resources in Alor can be used as a tourist attraction, such as Wai Ulung, Wai Redang, Wai Urita, Wai Bakolang, Munaseli Kingdom, Hiking Baki Old Village, Kenari beach, Sikka Island, Putri Laut Cave, Tomi Leo Cave, Bat Cave, and Octopus Pond. Based on the analysis using the quantitative and qualitative SWOT Matrix, the suitable strategy to be applied in the development of sustainable tourism in Alor is maximize the strength to get all of the opportunity, such as developing tourism activities with fully managed by the local community, promotes safe tourist sites, provides sustainable tourism development field-laboratory for students and academia, and Enhance the community involvement as local tour services providers. Conclusion: Many natural and historical resources in Alor that can be developed as a tourist attraction, and the suitable development strategy is to maximize the strength to get all the opportunity.

The purpose of this research is to reveal the ecotourism potential of Limboto lake as natural tourism which needs to be improved and developed. The research method used is the SWOT analysis method with descriptive qualitative research type. The results of the research show that; Strengths include the cultural diversity of the local community which has been preserved until now, the extraordinary tourism potential of Lake Limboto and apart from being a tourist attraction, this location is a place of livelihood for people who work as fishermen. Weakness among others are, the absence of a clear strategy in the development of Lake Limboto and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Opportunity, among others, support from various parties, especially the government, although it is still limited to a plan that cannot be realized. There have been efforts to form a community that cares about tourism, and is close to other tourism objects. Threats, among others, are tourism development in this area is not yet a top priority and also a lack of public awareness in preserving Lake Limboto tourism objects.
