The purpose of this study to determine: the effect of cooperative learning type of STAD to improve problem solving ability mathematics between students who were given cooperative learning type STAD with students and who were given direct learning. The type of this research is a quasi-experimental research by taking samples from the existing population. The variable of this research consist of independent variable that is cooperative learning type STAD while the dependent variable is problem solving mathematics ability of student. This research was conducted at SMP Swasta Al-Maksum Percut Sei Tuan. This research will be conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. The population in this study is all students  of SMP Swasta Al-Maksum Percut Sei Tuanand the sample in this study are students of grade eight by taking two classes that are VIII-4as experimental class and VII1-1as control class by random. Technique of collecting data in this research by using test. Test used is the problem solving mathematics ability test (pre test and post test). Data that have been collected then analyzed and performed hypothesis testing by using regression test. Based on the results of the analysis is obtained: there are effects of cooperative learning type STAD to improve student problem solving mathematics ability. Therefore, it is suggested that cooperative learning type STAD be used as an alternative for teachers to improve student problem solving mathematics ability.

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS) type on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts. This research, which was conducted in the 2017/2018 Academic Year 3 Binjai High School, was a quasi-experimental study, with the design of the pretest and posttest control group design. Based on the results of the study, the average value of the experimental class pretest was 48.03 and the average value of the control class pretest was 46.33. While the average value of the experimental class post test is 54.78 and the average value of the control class posttest is 50.47. There is a significant effect between TPS type cooperative learning on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts which can be seen from the results of simple linear regression test calculations obtained rtable = 0.329, while based on the calculations that have been done obtained r count = 0.71. From the calculation it can be seen that r count r table (0.71 0.329). Thus the proposed hypothesis is accepted.

<p class="AfiliasiCxSpFirst" align="left"><strong>Abstrak:</strong></p><p class="AfiliasiCxSpMiddle">Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diajar dengan <em>Think Pair Share </em>(TPS) dan <em>Group Investigation </em>(GI) di kelas X MAS Amaliyah Sunggal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen kuasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MAS Amaliyah Sunggal Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020, yang selanjutnya dipilih sampel sebanyak dua kelas secara acak yaitu X-IPA3 dan X-IPA2. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematis. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan uji ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa, (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang belajar dengan TPS dengan siswa yang belajar dengan GI; dan (2) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran (TPS, GI) terhadap kemampuan matematis (penalaran, pemecahan masalah). This research was quantitative study and a quasi eksperimen. The population was all students of grade X MAS Amaliyah Sunggal in Academic Year 2019/2020, then two class is selected as sample randomly. They were X-IPA2 dan X-IPA3. Data was collected by test of </em><em>reasoning and mathematical problem solving. Then data were analyzed using the two-way ANAVA. The result showed that, (1) there were significant differences in the ability of reasoningg and mathematical problem solving of students who studied by TPS and students who studied by GI; and (2). There is no interaction between learning models (TPS and GI) and the mathematics ability (reasoning and problem solving). This research is a quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test non-equivalent group design. The population in this research is all of the students on class X in SMA Negeri 1 Marga Tiga and the sampling technique is total sampling. Data are collected by documentation and test. Data are analyzed with descriptive statistics to compare the mean scores of N-Gain  obtained by each student.  The results of the analysis shows that (1) the student’s geometry problem solving ability with cooperative learning STAD is higher than the conventional learning, (2) the student’s geometry problem solving ability with wingeom software in cooperative learning STAD is higher than the conventional learning, (3) the student’s geometry problem solving ability with wingeom software in cooperative learning STAD is higher than without using wingeom software. This research shows that the cooperative learning STAD by using the wingeom software has a significant effect on the high school students’ geometry problem-solving ability. The finding of this research shows that the students are still having difficulties in solving the problems, especially when the students have to look back whether the finishing is right or not.

AbstrakJenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental), desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Post-test Only Control Design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 6 Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sempel diambil dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling, diperoleh 2 kelas yaitu kelas X IPA 3 sebagai kelompok kontrol dan kelas X IPA 4 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan total sampel sebanyak 83 siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan t-test satu pihak (pihak kanan) dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI berbantuan media powerpoint () adalah 80,00 sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional () adalah 73,7. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel yaitu 4,01 > 1,98969. Diperoleh thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut terlihat bahwa hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) berbantuan media powerpoint lebih baik daripada kelompok control yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas X SMAN 6 Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Penyebab lebih baiknya nilai rata-rata siswa pada kelas eksperimen dikarenakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) adalah salah satu tipe atau model pembelajaran kooperatif yang mudah diterapkan, melibatkan, aktivitas seluruh siswa tanpa harus ada perbedaan status, melibatkan peran siswa sebagai tutor sebaya dan reinforcement.Kata kunci: Perbedaan, Hasil Belajar, Kooperatif, TAI, Konvensional.  AbstractThis type of research is quasi-experimental research, the research design used is "Post-test Only Control Design". The population of this study was all students of class X SMAN 6 Denpasar in 2018/2019 academic year. Based on these results it can be seen that the experimental group learning outcomes taught using the cooperative learning model TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) assisted by powerpoint media are better than the control group taught with conventional learning models in class X students of SMAN 6 Denpasar in the 2018/2019 academic year. The reason for the better average scores of students in the experimental class is because the cooperative learning model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) is one type or model of cooperative learning that is easy to apply, involves, activities of all students without having differences in status, involving the role of students as tutors peer and reinforcement.Keywords: Differences, Results, Learning, Model, TAI, Conventional.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kuis pada akhir pertemuan pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN Lappariaja. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together dengan memberikan kuis di akhir pertemuan dan tanpa pemberian kuis pada akhir pertemuan pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together serta variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MAN Lappariaja yang terdiri dari 10 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 390 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu random sampling. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas X7 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang dan kelas X9 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan tes hasil belajar pada materi pokok ikatan kimia berupa post-test yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis statistika inferensial diperoleh thitung (2.73) > ttabel (1.67) pada 𝛼 ═ 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian kuis di akhir pertemuan pada pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN Lappariaja pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Kata kunci: Kuis, Numbered Heads Together, Hasil Belajar Siswa, Ikatan Kimia ABSTRACT The research was a quasi-experimental that aimed to know the effect of Quiz Presentation at the last session of Numbered Heads Together of Learning cooperative toward Students’ Achievement of Class X MAN Lappariaja. The independent variable in this research were Numbered Heads Together learning with Quiz Presentation at the last session and without quiz of Numbered Heads Together of Learning cooperative, the dependent variable was student’s achievement on Chemical Bonding subject matter. The population was class X MAN Lappariaja consisted class 10 with number of 390 students. The sample of this research consisted of two classes, namely class X7 as an experiment class with 30 students and class X9 as a control class with 30 students. The data of the research were gathered by testing the students’ achievement on chemical bonding subject matter for post-test which were analysed by using t-test. Results of inferential statistical analysis were tcalculate (2.73) higher than ttable (1.67) on α ═0.05. Conclude that presenting quiz at the end of the meeting on cooperative Learning Numbered Heads Together gives effected to toward student’s achievement of class X MAN Lappariaja on Chemical Bonding subject matter. The research was conducted to find out the influence of Group Investigation (GI) of Cooperative Learning methods toward the student’s ability of mathematical reasoning. The research design was quasi-experimental the nonequivalent posttest-only control group design consisting of one experimental class (Group Investigation of Cooperative Learning) and one control class. The research population was all the second-semester students of VIII grade of MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Timur in the academic year of 2015/2016. The research instruments used were mathematical reasoning ability test. Data Analyze mathematical reasoning ability was used independent sample t-test. This research aims to determine the effect of Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model towards the ability of mathematics problem solving of grade XI MIA SMA NW Mataram academic year 2019/2020. Type of the research is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest only control design. The population of the research is all students grade XI MIA SMA NW Mataram academic year 2019/2020. The sampling technique was saturated sampling tecnique, so the sample obtained that XI MIA 1 as the experimental class and XI MIA 2 as the controlling class. The instrument used was a test of the students learning achievement (post-test) on the sequence and series  material. Quantitave analysis obtained by using t-test. The result of this research showed that there is a difference in the average score of students who get learning use the Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning models with students who use direct learning. Meanwhile the effect of Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model towards the ability of mathematics problem solving of using the effect size with moderate category. This means that the Think Talk Write (TTW) type of cooperative learning models is quite influential on the mathematics problem solving ability of grade XI MIA SMA NW Mataram.

The students' problem solving ability is low. One effort that can be done is to implement the pair checks type of cooperative learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the pair checks type of cooperative learning based on the task of problem posing on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is a quasi experimental research. The population of this study were students of grade 8. The sample consisted of two classes selected by random sampling. The instruments used in this study were test and questionnaire. The data were obtained from the results of the post test after implement the pair check type of cooperative learning. Data were analyzed using t-test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the pair checks type of cooperative learning based on the task of problem posing on students' mathematical problem solving abilitie. In addition, there was a difference in the increase indicated by the N-gain value in the experimental clas. Therefore, the pair checks type of cooperative learning based on the task of problem posingan effect on improving students' problem-solving abilities.

The development of the industrial revolution must be balanced by the increase of quality soft skills, one of which is problem-solving ability. This study was aimed to determine which learning models that have more influence on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Cooperative learning model Co-Op Co-Op with students who applied the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model. This research employed the quasi-experimental design. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling. The data collection instrument used was a problem-solving ability test in the form of an essay test. Based on the results of calculations using the t-test, it was concluded that the Co-Op Co-Op Cooperative learning model had more influence on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to the Missouri Mathematics Project.
