The article proposes a new criterion for lighting quality that extends the existing UGR. The proposed criterion is tested in an experiment on real lighting installations - Moscow metro stations. At metro stations, the spatial-angular distribution of luminance is measured using a camera that shoots in RAW format and a luminance meter. A luminance meter is used to normalize the image to absolute luminance values. In the experiment, observers evaluate the quality of station lighting and compare the results with the calculation of a new criterion. A high correlation of the results obtained by observers and calculated using the new quality criterion is shown. For a few stations, a 3D model is built, and the criterion is calculated according to the model. The article concludes that the quality criterion is applicable to the assessment of lighting quality. Moreover, the proposed criterion can be considered an extension of the existing UGR.

In this work, we will explore this technolo- gy to improve the collaborative work between people in the same physical space allowing them to share and visualise virtual contents. The idea is to have a 3D scene shared between several people where everyone can see and interact with and explore its use in psychotherapy context. These live interactions can also be used to improve the quality of collaborative work by presenting in real time ideas and thoughts of any participant directly on top of the 3D model. In the case of a psychotherapy session typically patients describe their feelings and fears to the therapist. This may be centred on virtual representations of their phobic elements, supporting interactions with them, being those actions and re- sults observable by both in their shared space. Our main goal is to apply and evaluate this concept, specially in exposure-based therapies, where it is im- portant for the therapist to control and manipulate the scene that the patient is exposed to in order to obtain the desired emotional activations.</span></p></div></div></div>

Currently, programs for lighting calculation based on computer graphics (CG) allows us to move to a fundamentally new approach to a assessing the quality of lighting. A designing based on illuminance can be complement with designing based on synthetic images or on lighting design. Modern CG programs can calculate the spatial-angular distribution of luminance (SADL). However, to make the assessment of the quality of lighting using SADL a new criterion is needed. This paper considers constructing a physiological model of the visual perception scale based on experimental data and on neural network for simple scene as light source viewed on a uniform background with different luminance levels. Scale based on threshold contrasts of luminance for each sensation can be a fundament of new criterion. The article offers the method of construction the map for each sensation using the example of «discomfort» and «unpleasant» maps that can easily applied in programs.

The article presents the experiment in studying a new criterion of lighting quality based on spatial and angular distribution of luminance proposed by the Lighting Engineering sub-department of NIU MPEI. The experiment studies correlation between expert evaluations of lighting quality at 21 stations of the Moscow Metro with analysis based on the criterion of quality of RAW-format luminance photographs of the stations made by means of a camera and adjusted according to luminance measured by a luminance meter. The obtained photos were processed using the proposed criterion. The article presents design of station models and calculations made by means of DIALux software and the programme developed (as part of the work) on the basis of local evaluations. It is demonstrated that the proposed criterion allows us to take account of extended veiling reflections and may be considered as enhancement of the unified glare rating UGR.

The article formulates and proves a new approach to assessing the quality of lighting based on the luminance spatial-angular distribution (LSAD). Several aspects of assessing the quality of lighting are described and the main one is selected for further research. Visibility is considered as the first step to the formulation of the quality criterion. The validity of the new approach is proved in laboratory conditions on the example of carrying out a standard visual task and in real conditions in the Moscow metro.

The article has considered the calculation of the unified glare rating (UGR) based on the luminance spatial-angular distribution (LSAD). The method of local estimations of the Monte Carlo method is proposed as a method for modeling LSAD. On the basis of LSAD, it becomes possible to evaluate the quality of lighting by many criteria, including the generally accepted UGR. UGR allows preliminary assessment of the level of comfort for performing a visual task in a lighting system. A new method of "pixel-by-pixel" calculation of UGR based on LSAD is proposed.

Background: The criteria set of assessing hospital quality in Vietnam in 2016 was revied from the criteria set in 2013 by the Ministry of Health in order to help hospitals to self-assess towards improvinge quality of hospitals in the international integration context. The study aimed to assess the quality of public hospitals in Can Tho City according to the revised criteria set of the Ministry of Health in 2016 and compare the quality among three hospital ranks (including grade I, grade II, and grade III) via to 5 groups of quality criteria. Methods: A cross-sectional study, using secondary data analysis was applied to assess the service quality of 7 general public hospitals in Can Tho City. Results: The average total score of 7 hospitals is 245 and the average for the criteria of 7 hospitals is 2.99, which is just satisfactory. In the criterion of quality, criterion D and E had the lowest scores compared to the other three groups. There was no statistically significant difference (p = 0.076) among the mean scores for the three hospital categories. Conclusion: The quality of public hospitals in Can Tho city in 2016 only reached moderately good level (2.99). Interventions should be developed to improve the quality of hospitals, with particular emphasis on improving the quality of criteria groups D and E. Aim. The presented study aims to develop the methodology for assessing the quality of management of organizational transformation processes. Tasks. To achieve the set aim, the authors solve the following problems: determine the essence and content of socio-economic transformation, formulate quality assurance principles for the management of transformation processes, draw attention to the problem of selecting a unified quality criterion for the management of organizational transformation processes. Methods. This study uses general scientific methods of cognition, including analysis and synthesis. It also applies a systems approach to identify the major problems of assessing the quality of management of transformation processes, including the problem of selecting a unified quality criterion for the management of transformation processes and formulating the principles of ensuring the quality of management of transformation processes. Results. The global problem of managing transformation processes in the economic system consists in the complexity of the managed processes, which increases due to the multidimensionality, mutual influence, and the resulting uncertainty of interactions between the elements of the system. It is concluded that the methodology for assessing the quality of management of transformation processes is based on the principle of integrating separate measures to improve the quality of management of system elements into a single system of management actions and the principle of ensuring that management actions are primarily aimed at preventing possible negative consequences of the transformation of economic systems, i.e. reducing the potential impact of unfavorable events and their consequences. To assess the effectiveness of targeted management actions and productive actions aimed at organizing, controlling, and guiding the transformation process, the authors actualize the problem of selecting an adequate quality criterion for the management of transformation processes in economic systems and put forward a hypothesis about a possible unified criterion of management quality. Conclusions. The principle of integrating separate measures to improve the quality of management of system elements and the principle of ensuring that management actions are aimed at preventing possible negative consequences lie at the core of the methodology for assessing the quality of management of transformation processes in economic systems. The quality assessment methodology should be developed in the direction of finding a unified quality criterion for managing transformation processes in economic systems.

The notion of a quality criterion for non-tunable band-stop filters is introduced, and on the basis of it a comparison of filters with different designs is performed. The quality criterion takes into account the electrical characteristics of the filter and its dimensions, including the volume, the central frequency of the notch band, the level of total losses in the passbands, the width of the notch band by the level of total losses, the width of the notch band by attenuation level. Thus, it allows you to compare the quality of design and manufacture of passive notch filters of various types. The necessary analytical expression is presented, and for a number of variants of filter execution, the corresponding calculation results are given. The stated materials allow us to estimate and optimize the system of interrelated parameters of filters of an arbitrary physical structure.

A computer-generated hologram (CGH) allows synthetizing view of 3D scene of real or virtual objects. Additionally, CGH with wide-angle view offers the possibility of having a 3D experience for large objects. An important feature to consider in the calculation of CGHs is occlusion between surfaces because it provides correct perception of encoded 3D scenes. Although there is a vast family of occlusion culling algorithms, none of these, at the best of our knowledge, consider occlusion when calculating CGHs with wide-angle view. For that reason, in this work we propose an occlusion culling algorithm for wide-angle CGHs that uses the Fourier-type phase added stereogram (PAS). It is shown that segmentation properties of the PAS can be used for setting efficient conditions for occlusion culling of hidden areas. The method is efficient because it enables processing of dense cloud of points. The investigated case has 24 million of point sources. Moreover, quality of the occluded wide-angle CGHs is tested by two propagation methods. The first propagation technique quantifies quality of point reproduction of calculated CGH, while the second method enables the quality assessment of the occlusion culling operation over an object of complex shape. Finally, the applicability of proposed occlusion PAS algorithm is tested by synthetizing wide-angle CGHs that are numerically and optically reconstructed.

The study is devoted to the development of information technology for forecasting based on time series. It has been found that it is important to develop new models and forecasting methods to improve the quality of the forecast. Information technology is based on the evolutionary method of synthesis of the forecast scheme grounded on basic forecast models. The selected method allows you to consider any number of predictive models that may belong to different classes. For a given time series, the weight coefficients with which the models are included in the resulting forecast scheme are calculated by finding the solution to the optimization problem. The method of constructing the objective function for the optimization problem in the form of a linear combination of forecasting results by basic forecasting models is shown. It is proposed to find the solution to the optimization problem using a genetic algorithm. The result of the method is the forecast scheme, which is a linear combination of basic forecast models. To assess the quality of the forecast, it is suggested to use forecasting errors or forecast volatility calculated as the standard deviation. Forecast quality criteria are selected depending on the context of the task. The use of forecast volatility as a quality criterion, with repeated use of technology, will reduce the deviation of forecast values from real data. The structural scheme of information technology is developed. Structurally, information technology consists of two blocks: data processing and interpretation of the obtained values. The result of the application of the developed information technology is the production rules for determining the predicted value of the studied quantity. Experimental verification of the obtained results was performed. The problem of forecasting the number of religious organizations in Ukraine based on statistical data from 1997 to 2000 has been solved. The autoregression method and the linear regression model were chosen as the basic forecast models. Based on the results of using the developed information technology, the weights of the basic models were calculated. It is demonstrated that the obtained forecast scheme allowed to improve the average absolute percentage error and forecast volatility in comparison with the selected models.
