<p>The purpose of this study was to find out the results belejar junior high school students after application of cooperative learning model NHT the terms of the learning activities. Forms of research is quasy Experiment with the design of a 1x3 factorial design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1, while the sample is a class VIII-D randomly selected using random cluster sampling technique. Data collection tool used is a test instrument that consists of four essay and activity questionnaire consisting of 23 questions. Based on analysis test, one way ANOVA with different cells obtained by (1) the learning outcomes of students with high activity category as well as students with moderate activity category. (2) the learning outcomes of students with moderate activity category better with students with low activity category. (3) the learning outcomes of students with high activity category better with students with low activity category.</p><p> </p><p>Keywords: Cooperative learning NHT type, learning activities</p>

Abstrak: Kegiatan pendampingan pengajaran English fun bagi siswa SMPN 5 Narmada merupakan bentuk pengabdian dalam rangka memberikan semangat dan motivasi belajar bahasa Inggris yang menyenangkan. Pendampingan pengajaran ini difokuskan pada siswa kelas VIII tahun pelajaran 2018-2019. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pengajaran langsung didalam ruangan kelas dengan menggunakan metode permainan (game) seperti pair work cards, board card and spelling be game. Penggunaan metode ini sangat efektif dalam merangsang inspirasi belajar siswa untuk lebih memahami capaian pembelajaran. Kegiatan pendampingan pengajaran berlangsung selama 6 kali pertemuan. Selama proses pengajaran, para siswa terlihat aktif dan termotivasi untuk lebih semangat belajar bahasa Inggris. Para siswa ikut terlibat secara langsung dalam mengerjakan tugas dan latihan sesuai dengan arahan dan instruksi seorang guru. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode game yang menyenangkan atau variasi metode akan mampu mendorong motivasi belajar siswa. Metode ini sangat cocok untuk dikembangkan bagi siswa sekolah disetiap jenjang khususnya siswa sekolah menengah pertama.Kata Kunci: Pengajaran, English, Fun.Abstract:  Teaching English fun for students of SMP 5 Narmada is a kind of service on community in order to have enthusiasm and motivation to learn English fun. This teaching service is focused on class VIII students in the academic year 2018-2019. This service is carried out in the form of direct teaching in the classroom by using game such as pair work cards, board cards and spelling be games. The use of these methods are more effective in stimulating the students' learning inspiration for getting the point of learning outcomes. Teaching services activities was conducted for 6 meetings. During the teaching process, students were actively and motivated to be more enthusiastic in learning English. The students are directly participate to do the assignments and exercises according to the direction and instructions of a teacher. Thus, the use of fun game methods or their variations will be able to encourage student learning motivation. Inviting someone to be able to study according to a predetermined plan is not easy, especially after the covid-19 pandemic, many children are lazy in learning, especially reading, so teaching materials are needed that can attract students' interest. For junior high school students who still want to play dominantly, the teacher must be able to provide teaching materials in which there is an element of play so that students can be motivated in learning. Based on this background, the researchers conducted a Development Research on Puzzle-based LKPD to improve the science learning outcomes of class VIII SMPN 15 Mukomuko students on the material of the Human Circulatory System. The puzzle that the researcher means is a crossword puzzle. From the results of research and testing from the validator team, researchers got a Puzzle-based worksheet that can be used after the validator team's assessment of the presentation aspect with a value of 18 on the criteria 72% is in the category of quite valid and suitable for use with minor revisions, and the content aspect with a value of 23 on the 76% criteria are in the valid category and suitable for use without revision. From this research we get a reference that can be used by science subject teachers to teach material on the human circulatory system. ABSTRAKMengajak seseorang untuk bisa belajar sesuai dengan rencana yang sudah ditetapkan bukanlah hal yang mudah, apalagi setelah pandemi covid-19, banyak anak yang malas dalam belajar terutama membaca, sehingga diperlukan bahan ajar yang dapat menarik minat siswa. untuk siswa SMP yang masih dominan ingin bermain maka guru harus dapat menyediakan bahan ajar yang didalamnya ada unsur bermain sehingga siswa dapat termotivasi dalam belajar. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut peneliti melakukan Penelitian Pengembangan teradap LKPD berbasis Puzzle untuk meningktkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMPN 15 Mukomuko pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah manusia. Puzzle yang peneliti maksud adalah teka-teki silang. Dari hasil penelitian dan pengujian dari tim Validator peneliti mendapatkan LKPD berbasis Puzzle yang dapat digunakan setelah penilaian dari tim validator terhadap aspek sajian dengan nilai 18 pada kriteria 72% berada pada kategori cukup valid dan layak digunakan dengan revisi kecil, dan aspek Isi dengan nilai 23 pada kriteria 76% berada pada kategori valid dan layak digunakan tanpa revisi.dari penelitian ini kita mendapatkan sebuah referensi yang dapat digunakan oleh guru mata pelajaran IPA untuk mengajarkan materi sistema peredaran darah manusia.

This study aims to improve the concept mastery of students on optics through the development of a virtual laboratory. This research and development consisted of three stages, namely the preliminary study, the design of the virtual laboratory, and the virtual laboratory testing/implementation. The validity of the virtual laboratory is based on the results of the expert validation on the aspects of suitability of the contents and construction. The study used mixed-methods with exploratory sequential design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. This study involved 25 students of class VIII 1 as the experimental group and 25 students of class VIII 3 as the control group at Pugung Junior High School 1. The data were collected using observation, questionnaires and tests, and interviews. Then the data were analyzed using independent sample t-test and homogeneity test to see the learning effectiveness of the two sample groups. The results show that the practicality of learning using the developed virtual laboratory has been very successful and received good responses from the students. The effectiveness of the virtual laboratory can be seen from the N-gain of 0.44 (moderate level). Therefore, virtual laboratories can be used as teaching tools that are able to contribute positively to increase students’ learning outcomes.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, learning activities have encountered obstacles. One of the impacts was the low learning outcomes achieved by students. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of junior high school students during the physical distancing period by implementing problem-based learning through Smart Apps Creator 3. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) used Smart Apps Creator 3 as the platform during learning activities of junior high school students. The research subjects were junior high school students (VIII graders of SMP Negeri 8 Surakarta) with a total number of students was 32 which consisted of 16 males and 16 females. The results showed that the application of Smart Apps Creator 3 has improved students’ learning outcomes. It has been proven that the average test score increased from 73.43 (pre-cycle) to 85.56 (cycle II). Moreover, the N gain score obtained was 0.45 (categorized as sufficient). In addition, the percentages of classical learning completeness were 59.37% (pre-cycle) and 93.75% (cycle II). Thus, the Smart Apps Creator 3 can improve student learning outcomes.

This research is a quasi-experimental study that aims to determine the effect of the Group Investigation (GI) type of cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students. The population in this study were all VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Kediri, which were divided into three classes. The research sample of two classes was taken by the purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique using tests and observation sheets. The experimental class uses a Group Investigation (GI) type of cooperative learning model and the control class uses a direct learning model. The sample in the study was class VIII-A as the experimental class and class VIIIB as the control class. The normality test and homogeneity test showed that the two samples were normally distributed and homogeneous. The data analysis using t test with  show  and  so  is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Group Investigation (GI) type of cooperative learning model on students mathematics learning outcomes. To find out how much the effect of the Group Investigation (GI) type of cooperative learning model has on the students mathematics learning outcomes, it can be done by using effect size calculations with Cohen’s formula and the calculation results are 1.18 including in the high category. This means that the application of the Group Investigation (GI) type of cooperative learning model has a high effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 kediri academic year 2021/2022

This research aims to investigate the effect of developing character-based phisic based character inquiry models for junior high school students. This research used the type of Research and Development (R&D) with Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results show: worksheet light and optical instruments based on inquiry models are included in the criteria are very suitable to be used as a study guide for students of class VIII SMP witha presentation on the feasibilityof the worksheet  96,87%; There is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use the Science worksheet  light and optical inquiry model character and students who do not use Science worksheet  light and optical inquiry model character; The application of the Natural Science worksheet  light and optical characterized by the inquiry model can improve students' understanding of the subject matter of light and optical devices. Improved learning outcomes cognitive aspects including the criteria are; and The use of science worksheets light and optical characterized by inquiry models can develop student character that is within the criteria of culture.

Learning science in junior high school raises many problems found on direct instruction, students learn such activity is very low. Students lacking the spirit to learn science, pretend to understand the teacher's explanations. Students in learning activities mediocre both classical learning and teamwork that ultimately student learning outcomes many incompletes. To overcome this, then do action research in order to improve the results of junior high school students learn science through learning model Think Pair Share for Class VIII.1 second-semester students of SMP Negeri 2 Metro in the academic year 2012/2013. This study time is 3 months. Based on the recapitulation of the data observation learning process and the work of the group, the student learning outcomes can be summarized as follows. In observation of the learning process from the first meeting until the meeting of the 6th, there is increased an activity of students in learning. This happened after learning that teachers undertake improvements at each meeting.

The purpose of this research to produce science learning material by using cooperative learning model STAD and talking chips strategy that valid, practical, and effective to improve learning outcomes of  junior high school student’s. The development of learning material use the 4D model and was tested at junior high school students class VIII A, VIII C, and VIII F with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data collection used observation method, test, and quetionnaires. Descriptive data analysis of quantitative-qualitative results are: (1) Learning material on terms of a valid category of: (a) Validation of the instruments very good category (3,78), (b) Readability of book (92,9%) and worksheets (95,18%) are easier category for student’s; (2) Learning material on terms of practical category in: (a) Feasibility of instruction good category, (b) Obstacles for learning can be overcome; (3) The learning material effectiveness on terms of: (a) The response of student’s positively (96,3%), (b) Student’s activity is active category, (c) Student’s learning achievement increased the average of N-Gain 0,71 with high category. The analysis results of  statistic suggests that there is a difference between the learning outcomes before and after implementation of STAD cooperative models with talking chips strategy. The conclusion of this research that the model of cooperative learning STAD with talking chips strategy are eligible to improve learning achievement of junior high school student’s. The implications of this research are becoming students more daring to express opinions and be able to improve student learning outcomes of knowledge competence. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan strategi talking chips yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMP. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4D dan diujicobakan pada siswa SMP kelas VIII A, VIII C, dan VIII F dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif-kualitatif dengan hasil : (1) Kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari: (a) Hasil validasi perangkat berkategori sangat valid (3,78), (b) Keterbacaan BAS (92,9%) dan LKS (95,18%) berkategori mudah dipahami oleh siswa; (2) Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari: (a) Keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik, (b) kendala-kendala selama pembelajaran dapat diatasi; (3) Keefektifan ditinjau dari: (a) Respon siswa positif (96,3%), (b) Aktivitas siswa kategori aktif, (c) Hasil belajar siswa kompetensi pengetahuan meningkat dengan rata-rata N-Gain 0,71 berkategori tinggi. Hasil analisis uji statistik menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan strategi talking chips. Simpulan penelitian ini, bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan strategi talking chips yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMP. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah siswa menjadi lebih berani mengemukakan pendapat dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kompetensi pengetahuan.

  This research is motivated by learning conditions that are still not optimal, both process and learning outcomes. Therefore, we conducted a research to apply lesson study by using the Cooperative Learning method in Indonesian Language, in writing advertisement, slogans, and posters texts in class VIII of Pasundan 2 Junior High School Bandung. This research is expected to improve learning outcomes, activities and creativities. The research method used is an experimental method. The research subjects were students of Pasundan 2 Bandung Junior High School Class VIII C. This research was an implementation of plan, do and see. The validity of the data is done through triangulation techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of lesson study using the Cooperative Learning method is carried out in accordance with the stages in the lesson study, namely plan, do and see. Lesson study makes the learning planning process more mature so that in the implementation of learning the model lecturer feels more prepared. Lesson Study can effectively improve the quality of learning, both processes and results. This can be seen from the test results which are tested on the average significant improvement. Likewise in the process, based on the observations made, the activity and creativity of students of Pasundan 2 Junior High School Bandung increased. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of lesson study with cooperative learning effectively increases the activity, creativity, and learning outcomes of students in Pasundan 2 Junior High School Bandung significantly.
