New scientific data on the modern epizootic situation on helminthoses of sheep of the breed Edilbayevskaya introduced on the territory of Altai region are provided. To study the contamination of animals with helminths, ovoliroscopic methods commonly used in parasitology were applied. In total 889 fecal samples received from sheep of different gender and age groups are investigated. Gelminthocomplex of animals is characterized by a variety. Tapeworms include parasites of the suborder Anoplocephalata, the family Anoplocephalidae, the genus Moniezia (M. brodeni, M. expanza) and the family Avitellinidae of the genus Thysaniezia (Thysaniezia giardi). Roundworms belong to the Strongylata suborder and are represented by 4 genera nematodes – Nematodirus, Ostertagia, Hemonchus, Oesophagostomum. The infection of lambs with helminths, including Nematodirus spp. and Moniezia spp. in 1.6–3.8 times more than at adult animals also makes respectively 48.1; 42.9 and 15.8%. A distinction of the sheep hermitage of the breed Edilbaevskaya is the low level of infection of animals with strangulates of the gastrointestinal tract, including esophagostomies (0.19%), ostertagies (1.3%), and hemones (0.2%). The dominating and subdominating components of helminthocomplex are Nematodirus spp. and Moniezia spp. For the first time the Skrjabinema ovis is registered in territory of Altai region.

People have the tendencies to be involved or engaged in transgression. While some may be forgiving and move forward, others hold grudges, resentment, or feel remorse. In the context of social, behavioral science, this is worth investigating. Thus, this study aimed at analyzing the indicatives of forgivingness in a transgression-related act and if these are associated with Gender and age. The main instrument used is the Transgression Narrative Test of Forgivingness (TNTF) which is a tool to measure forgivingness of the Meranao living in Lanao del Sur, Philippines. The respondents were the 150 Meranao Students (senior high and college students). This study employed a quantitative design that described, compared and correlated variables. Findings indicated that Meranao students are most forgiving towards scenarios in which a transgressor causes a friend to fail in the submission of a job application and least forgiving towards a scenario where a transgressor causes one of the family members to die. Meranaos’ age range from 15 to 25 shows no difference in forgivingness between men and women. Results showed a very weak association in age groups. Future researchers may use other situational scales and tools to identify further results and use comprehensive age groups (young, middle-age, and old adult) examining respondents’ forgivingness and its significant differences.

The purpose of the article is to study the development of family structure in Finland in 1960—1987. For the first time, the data provide total coverage of all family types. Cohabitation became increasingly common in the 1970s but has so far not been covered by the data of official family statistics. Further, sample data have only included family data on selected age groups. Statistics Finland has now developed a method by which family and cohabitation data may automatically be derived from information about people’s place of residence, demographic characteristics, and relatives. The family statistics data for 1981 and 1987 have been reproduced. The article describes changes in the numbers of families of different types, families with young children and families of different sizes, as well as developments in the regional family structure during the 1960—1987 period. In addition, developments in the prevalence of living in a family and living in a family with young children are studied with reference to the 1981—1987 period.

Background. Scientific research has demonstrated that microbial pathogens could develop resistance to multiple antibacterial agents. Food additives, in particular preservatives, have also been shown to increase antimicrobial resistance of food-contaminating microorganisms. In this work the lantibiotic nisin was shown to exhibit: it contributes to the development of the antibiotic resistance of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, reduces the immune status, the development of an imbalance of intestinal microbiocenosis, affects the body’s metabolism through the regulation of DNA transcription.Purpose. To assess the risks of nisin (E234) use taking into account its impact on the biological properties of microorganisms-food contaminants.Material and methods. Calculation of nisin consumption with food under conditions of scenarios 1 and 2 was carried out taking into account the bodyweight of consumers of different age groups in the Russian population in the software Exel. The analysis of scientific data on the biological properties of nisin, including the ability to form to the resistance of microorganisms was provided. Results and conclusion. For the first time, the calculated amounts of the food additive-preservative nisin (E234) in the intestinal contents were shown to exceed the minimum inhibitory concentrations of nisin for representatives of the normal flora of the human gastrointestinal tract in consumers of all ages by from 40 to 27064 times, depending on the consumption scenario (with minimum and maximum exposure levels). It has been argued that the safety of nisin used as a food additive needs to be re-assessed taking into account its considerable contribution to the antimicrobial resistance of food pathogens.

Abstract Background At present, China urgently needs an effective and reliable tool to measure the job performance of doctors. For the first time, this study examined the measurement equivalence of the Chinese version of the Job Performance Questionnaire (CJPQ) in different genders and age groups among Chinese physician group. Methods The subjects of this study were 1901 doctors from 7 ‘grade-three’ hospitals in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China, with an average age of 36.59±7.91 years. And this study adopted the Chinese version of the Job Performance Questionnaire (CJPQ) compiled by Chinese scholar Qiang Lin, which includs 3 dimensions, 33 items in total and adopts the five-point Likert scoring system. Demographic variables were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 and measurement consistency tests were performed using AMOS 17.0. Results The results showed that for different genders, all changes in the CFI (Comparative Fit Index) were <0.01, indicating that the Chinese version of the Job Performance Questionnaire (CJPQ) is equivalent in terms of gender. Similarly, for subjects of different ages, all changes in CFI were also <0.01, indicating that the CJPQ is also equivalent in regard to age. Conclusions The measurement equivalence of the Chinese version of the Job Performance Questionnaire (CJPQ) among Chinese physicians of different genders and age groups is fully established.

The recent decades have witnessed a rapid evolution in the study of family businesses; however, despite their unprecedented importance, the information on family businesses remains fragmented and hard to compare. The uniqueness of family business lies in its structure – it is made up of two connected and interdependent components: family and business. Hence, it is logical to assume that every family business will reflect the family that is behind it. Yet, the characterization of these family values have been the missing component in our understanding of family business. The main aims of the research were (1) to provide understanding of the demographic and leadership characteristics of first time leaders, (2) provide a link between the first time leadership characters and organizational culture (as perceived by the employees), and (3) consequently, their alignment. The research was implemented on nine first time leaders and 837 employees from nine that operate in four industries. The chapter conjectures about the potential role of gender and age in leadership style across industries.

The aim of the study is to study the gender-age aspects of the incidence according to the materials of the Republican Oncologic Dispensary.Methods. For the observation period from 2010 to 2017 the incidence of lung cancer in men is more common – in some cities from 2 to 7 times in different age groups.Results. For the first time, lung cancer in men and women is mainly recorded in the age group of 30 – 39 years. In other age groups, no clear gender-age dependence has been identified, in addition to the upward trend in morbidity rates in persons over 40 years.Conclusion. It was found that the reduction of emissions of different groups of carcinogens in the air in Ufa and Sterlitamak led to a decrease in the incidence of respectively 9.72 and 31.17%, and an increase in emissions in Salavat and Oktyabrsky increased by 6.53 and 18.33%.

The present study explores the factorial structure and the degree of measurement invariance of 12 divergent thinking tests. In a large sample of German students (N = 1328), a three-factor model representing verbal, figural, and numerical divergent thinking was supported. Multigroup confirmatory factor analyses revealed that partial strong measurement invariance was tenable across gender and age groups as well as school forms. Latent mean comparisons resulted in significantly higher divergent thinking skills for females and students in schools with higher mean IQ. Older students exhibited higher latent means on the verbal and figural factor, but not on the numerical factor. These results suggest that a domain-specific model of divergent thinking may be assumed, although further research is needed to elucidate the sources that negatively affect measurement invariance.

Initially, Oliver Twist (1839) might seem representative of the archetypal male social plot, following an orphan and finding him a place by discovering the father and settling the boy within his inheritance. But Agnes Fleming haunts this narrative, undoing its neat, linear transmission. This reconsideration of maternal inheritance and plot in the novel occurs against the backdrop of legal and social change. I extend the critical consideration of the novel's relationship to the New Poor Law by thinking about its reflection on the bastardy clauses. And here, of course, is where the mother enters. Under the bastardy clauses, the responsibility for economic maintenance of bastard children was, for the first time, legally assigned to the mother, relieving the father of any and all obligation. Oliver Twist manages to critique the bastardy clauses for their release of the father, while simultaneously embracing the placement of the mother at the head of the family line. Both Oliver and the novel thus suggest that it is the mother's story that matters, her name through which we find our own. And by containing both plots – that of the father and the mother – Oliver Twist reveals the violence implicit in traditional modes of inheritance in the novel and under the law.
