Oncologists are at a high risk of developing professional burnout, which leads to the loss of individual and professional health, a decrease in the quality of medical services, and medical errors. Maintaining health in the professional activities of oncologists initiates the development of a system of psychological support for oncologists, including psychological trainings, group and individual counseling in the context of the problems of their professional activities. The article presents the results of approbation of the psychological training program and psychological data confirming its effectiveness in the prevention and correction of professional burnout of doctors. The article presents the results of psychological diagnostics before and after training using V.V. Boyko to study the level of emotional burnout of doctors.

Introduction. The working conditions of pharmaceutical industry workers are characterized by the combined effect of unfavorable factors of the production environment, among which the leading one is chemical. The aim of study is to substantiate the basic principles and criteria for hygienic regulation of pharmaceutical products in their production to ensure safe working conditions for employees based on the results of their own research and existing requirements of technical regulations. Materials and methods. Analysis of working conditions and the prevalence of health disorders in pharmaceutical workers (according to literature data), toxicological studies of pharmaceutical substances on laboratory animals, scientific justification of hygiene standards in the air of the working area. Results. Among employees of the pharmaceutical industry, the predominant forms of production-related health disorders are diseases of the respiratory system, as well as skin dermatitis of allergic origin, liver and biliary tract diseases. Based on the results of experimental studies of domestic pharmaceutical products for the treatment of cardiovascular, oncological and mental diseases that have priority socio-economic significance, the basic principles and features of the practice of justifying the hygienic standards of medicines in the air of the working area are developed and systematized. Conclusions. During hygienic rationing of medicines, it is necessary to use a differentiated approach that allows, based on the analysis of information about the chemical structure, physical and chemical characteristics, production conditions, pharmacotherapeutic activity, and the results of studying the toxic effect in an experiment on laboratory animals, to determine the maximum permissible content in the air of the working area of medicines or to justify the prohibition of isolation with reasoned recommendations for their safe production.

This study investigates the job demands, job resources, and health of leaders in three service sectors. The analyses are based on data of the 2018 BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey, a representative sample of the German labour force. The three service sectors trading, finance, and public services varied significantly in how leaders perceive job demands, job resources, psychosomatic health complaints, and musculoskeletal health complaints. Hardly any variation was found, however, in how demands and resources are associated with psychosomatic and musculoskeletal health complaints. These findings imply that service leaders’ perceptions provide sector-specific patterns of demands and resources, which are well reflected in stress theory. The findings further imply that there is no need for sector-specific theories predicting health complaints. The article concludes with a discussion of practical implications for health promotion in the three service sectors and the promotion of leaders’ health.

The relevance of research. In modern educational conditions, it is important for applicants to independently regulate academic activities and find solutions to overcome unforeseen negative situations. The purpose of the study is to reveal the correlation between indicators of ways to overcome negative situations and academic self-regulation. Research methods - The experimental research was carried out on the basis of the H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University and the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy. The study involved applicants for education in the area 05 Social and Behavioral Sciences of 1, 3 and 5 courses in the number of 244 persons (187 girls and 57 boys). As a diagnostic material we used the questionnaire "Ways to overcome negative situations" and the adaptation questionnaire of academic self-regulation R.M. Ryan and D.R. Connell. Mathematical and statistical methods were applied in data processing. Results. In a pilot study, it was found that the main ways of overcoming negative situations by subjects of educational and professional activities are self-accusations, problem analysis and self-esteem increase. Academic self-regulation is characterized mainly by external and introjective regulation. Conclusions. According to the results of the study of methods to overcome negative situations, it was found that students more often choose coping strategies of self-blame, problem analysis and search for guilty. During their educational and professional activities, students rely on the emotional sphere, which they direct towards themselves or others. At the same time, while analyzing the problem, students try to retire, seek information, find a solution. Academic self-regulation is characterized by external and introjected regulation. All data indicate that subjects of educational and professional activities are capable of self-organizing activities with the help of constructive coping strategies using the development of emotional intelligence for psychological well-being.

Abstract Background While the Schizotypal Personality Questionnaire (SPQ; Raine, 1991) is an established measure of self-reported schizotypy, the higher-order structure of its ratings has continued to be debated in numerous translations. Here, we examined the psychometric properties of a Romanian translation of the SPQ and assessed associations with quality of life, self-esteem, and satisfaction with life. Methods In total, 711 university students (488 women, 223 men) from Romania completed a novel translation of the SPQ online alongside measures of quality of life, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. All participants indicated no immediate family history relating to psychosis. Results Using confirmatory factor analysis, we suggest that a 4-dimensional model of SPQ scores had better fit to these data than alternative 3- and 4-factor models. The 4-factor model also demonstrated partial measurement invariance across sex, although sex differences on domain scores were negligible (ηp2 = .01-.02). The 4 SPQ domains were significantly and negatively correlated with all additional measures of quality of life, self-esteem, and satisfaction with life. Further, in predicting scores on these additional measures, the Negative SPQ domain emerged as the strongest predictor, with Paranoid and Disorganised scores also significant predictors. Discussion Romanian SPQ scores demonstrated adequate construct and predictive validity vis-à-vis quality of life, satisfaction with life, and self-esteem. Importantly, our findings highlighted the benefit of a Paranoid factor within the SPQ dimensionality, which provides support for a 4-factor conceptualisation of SPQ scores in a hitherto neglected linguistic group.

This study aims to determine the professional self-esteem levels of teacher candidates studying at the Faculty of Education, Ahi Evran University, Kırşehir, Turkey, to examine whether certain variables create any differences in their professional self-esteem levels and to propose suggestions in accordance with the results. The study was conducted among first- and fourth-year students. Data about the participants was collected through the use of a general information form, and their self-esteem levels were evaluated through the Scale for Professional Self-Esteem developed by Arıcak. The results reveal that gender, grade level, credit given to the importance of teaching as a profession, the ranking of choosing teaching as a profession at university and participating in professional activities in teaching do not cause any differences in teacher candidates' self-esteem levels, yet the activities of lecturers with regard to the reputation of teaching cause differences in their self-esteem levels.
