Background: Breast cancer is an abnormal growth of cells that form in breast tissue. In Aceh, breast cancer is the third most non-communicable disease with most breast cancer patients having a period of late treatment. The results of research on women in Lueng Bata District Banda Aceh City in 2015 found data that the majority of respondents had never had regular breast examinations. This can result in breast cancer being detected at an advanced stage where the therapy often cannot make the patient recover and end up in pain and death. To prevent the occurrence of these problems, health promotion is held about breast cancer and breast self-examination (BSE).Objectives: This study aims to increase women's knowledge and understanding of breast cancer and increase awareness for early detection and appropriate treatment.Methods: was carried out for 3 days from 12 to 14 September 2018 to the community in the work area of the Batoh Health Center in Banda Aceh. The method used is filling out questionnaires, lectures accompanied by questions and answers to explain risk factors, early signs of breast cancer, as well as demonstrations of breast self-examination.Results: From the evaluation of the results obtained from the community service activities, among others, is to increase awareness and understanding of the community, especially women about breast cancer and breast self-examination. It is thus expected to continue on a will that is applied in daily behavioral changes to prevent and routinely examine breast cancer in order to prevent complications and improve quality of life.Conclusion: There is an increase in knowledge and understanding of the meaning, risk factors, early signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and how to detect breast cancer early.

Tourism is a powerful economic driver for communities, but there are dangers of overtourism in tourism-dependent destinations. The study proposes an approach to detect early signs of overtourism by integrating census and industry data with residents’ perceptions of tourism benefits. The indicators include industry performance, its economic impacts, and indirect measures related to quality of life. The public perceptions are collected through surveying four different tourism-dependent communities in Florida. We found that in general local residents are highly positive about the tourism industry benefits to their communities, yet many respondents would like the tourism levels reduced. Especially concerning are negative sentiments toward tourism among the younger population groups and racial minorities. The findings are interpreted as early signs of overtourism.

The aim of this study was to prove that under in vitro conditions, the adhesiveness of the callus between rootstock and scion, the development of callus cells at the points of fusion, and the presence of phenolic components are closely related to the level of (in) compatibility of the grafting combinations between Sato-zakura cherry cultivars (‘Amanogawa’, ‘Kanzan’, and ‘Kiku-shidare-zakura’) and commercial rootstocks. Prunus avium, Prunus ‘Colt’, Prunus mahaleb and Prunus serrulata were used as compatible and Prunus serotina and Pyrus communis ‘Pyrodwarf’ were used as two potentially incompatible rootstocks. The results indicated the significant manifestations of the early signs of the incompatibility on the callus junction. Phenols, as well as tissue senescence, were very precisely localized by toluidine blue and alcian blue as well as safranin staining, which can indicate the early signs of the callus incompatibility in some grafting unions. In the callus unions of Prunus avium with ‘Amanogawa’ and ‘Kiku-shidare-zakura’ the results of chemical analyses indicated that the existence of several flavonols, flavones and phenol acids could be involved in the incompatibility process in grafted combination. The detection of flavonol astragalin in the unions can be a biomarker of compatibility between scion and the rootstock, while some polyphenols, such as neochlorogenic acid, sinapic acid, ellagic acid, caffeic acid, baicalein, naringenin, apigenin and luteolin can be used as the indicators of graft incompatibility. p-coumaric acid and ferulic acid could be used for detection of delayed incompatibility.

Abstract In the patients with neurological autoimmune diseases such as anti-IgLON5 disease, insomnia symptoms are very common. Clinical diagnosis of the anti-IgLON5 disease is usually made when neurodegenerative processes have occurred. To find the early signs of anti-IgLON5 disease, we evaluate the presence of IgLON5 autoantibodies in the serum of patients with chronic insomnia disease. Based on video-polysomnography, twenty-two individuals with isolated chronic insomnia disease were found. A control group of twenty-two healthy people was chosen using the PSQI. An indirect immunofluorescence cell-based test of serum anti-IgLON5 antibodies was used to investigate IgLON5 autoimmunity. Anti-IgLON5 antibodies were detected in the serum of four of these patients with the titer of 1/10. The presence of IgLON5 autoantibodies in some patients with chronic insomnia disease can be considered a causing factor of insomnia which can be effective in more specific treatments of these patients. Moreover, the recognition of anti-IgLON5 disease in the early stages and before the progression of tauopathies can be useful in effective and timely treatment.

Detecting early signs of cognitive decline is crucial for early detection and treatment of Alzheimer's Disease. Most of the current screening tools for Alzheimer's Disease represent a significant burden, requiring invasive procedures, or intensive and costly clinical testing. Recent findings have highlighted changes to speech and language patterns that occur in Alzheimer's Disease, and may be detectable prior to diagnosis. Automated tools to assess speech have been developed that can be used on a smartphone or tablet, from one's home, in under 10 min. In this study, we present the results of a study of older adults who completed a digital speech assessment task over a 6-month period. Participants were grouped according to those who scored above (N = 18) or below (N = 18) the recommended threshold for detecting cognitive impairment on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and those with diagnoses of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early Alzheimer's Disease (AD) (N = 14). Older adults who scored above the MoCA threshold had better performance on speech composites reflecting language coherence, information richness, syntactic complexity, and word finding abilities. Those with MCI and AD showed more rapid decline in the coherence of language from baseline to 6-month follow-up, suggesting that this score may be useful both for detecting cognitive decline and monitoring change over time. This study demonstrates that automated speech assessments have potential as sensitive tools to detect early signs of cognitive impairment and monitor progression over time.

The purpose of the study was to carry out a comparative analysis of the possibility of detecting early signs of articular changes in the temporomandibular joint with cone-beam computed tomography and ultrasound. Materials and methods. 20 patients with complaints of temporomandibular joint (16 women and 4 men) were examined who stated that the first symptoms associated with the joint appeared from 6 months to 1 year. Examination of patients with temporomandibular joint pathology included consultation of the patient by a dentist with the involvement of radiation research methods. During the examination by dentist, the odontogenic nature of the temporomandibular joint disorders was excluded or confirmed. Cone-beam computed tomography and ultrasound of the temporomandibular joint were performed in all patients according to standard methods. The comparative analysis was carried out on the basis of clinical examples with the conclusions of a specialist doctor in the field of radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy. Results and discussion. Pathology of the temporomandibular joint due to morphological and functional changes occurs in 40-75% of adult and occupies the third place in the list of the main nosological forms of dental diseases. At the same time, it is known that the use of radiation methods for diagnostics of surgical pathology in maxillofacial area of odontogenic and non-odontogenic etiology in the Republic of Belarus is provided by clinical protocols. A comparative analysis of the conclusion of patients who underwent cone-beam computed tomography and ultrasound of the temporomandibular joints allows us to conclude that ultrasound examination allows us to state early changes occurring in the temporomandibular joint. Therefore, the possibility of early diagnosis contributes to the appointment of an adequate and rational complex of therapeutic and rehabilitation measures which is important for stopping the progress of pathological changes. Also with the help of ultrasound, it is possible to establish signs of the development of various forms of osteoarthritis which are not detected on the cone-beam computed tomography at the initial stages of development. In addition, ultrasound allows to visualize changes occurring in soft tissues such as the articular disc which is not available for cone-beam computed tomography. Conclusion. The obtained results allow us to recommend ultrasound examination of the temporomandibular joint as a screening method and a method of the first level of examination in order to detect pathological changes from both bone and soft tissue structures of the joint as early as possible
