New data on the agaricoid basidiomycetes of the Tver Region

The annotated list of agaricoid basidiomycetes collected in the vicinities of the field research station of Laboratory of population ecology of the Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution RAS is provided. The collection places are situated in the Staritsa and Zubtsov Districts of the Tver Region. The list includes 38 species and 3 varieties not reported in earlier publications for the Tver Region, 20 species among them belonging to the Entolomataceae. Entoloma moguntinum and E. rhombisporum var. floccipes are reported for the first time for Russia. Their descriptions, graphic drawings and photographs are provided. E. moguntinum is recorded for the Pskov Region also. Photographs of Cystoderma fallax, Entoloma asprellum, E. chalybeum, E. poliopus var. poliopus, E. rhombisporum var. floccipes are provided.

The article presents the results o field research in 2019-2020 in South-Eastern Kazakhstan. Objective: To study the fauna, biology, ecology and distribution of terrestrial hemiptera in the territory of South-Eastern Kazakhstan. Therefore, on the basis of our own research, an inventory and a comprehensive analysis of the fauna of terrestrial hemiptera were carried out and an annotated list was compiled. As a result of the conducted research, 59 species of terrestrial hemiptera from 36 genera were identified. Among them, the following genera are distinguished by species diversity: Nysius (7 species), Cymus, Geocoris (4 species each), Spilostethus, Oxycarenus (3 species each), and in the remaining 31 genera, 1-2 species are known. Hemiptera are characterized by wintering at different stages of development. Hemiptera wintering in the imago stage is 49 species, in the egg stage 6 species overwinter, in the imago and larval stages 4 species overwinter. According to the number of generations per year, all species of terrestrial hemiptera of South-Eastern Kazakhstan can be divided into several groups: 1) monovoltine (49 species), 2) bivoltine (9 species), 3) polyvoltine (1 species). Different species of hemiptera have different requirements for the degree of moisture content of the habitat. On this basis, the following ecological groups of species are distinguished: xerophiles (2 species), meso-xerophiles (31 species), mesophiles (26 species). According to their location, the terrestrial hemiptera of South-Eastern Kazakhstan are divided into several groups: dendrobionts (7 species), dendromnobionts (1 species), hortobionts (26 species), herpetobionts (18 species), and herpetobionts (7 species). According to food connections, zoophages and phytophages are distinguished among ground bugs. Zoophages include 4 species, the rest are phytophages. Phytophages are divided into 4 groups according to the breadth of specialization: a) polyphages (35 species), b) broad oligophages (6 species), c) narrow oligophages (10 species), d) monophages (4 species). Nysius pilosulus Horvath, 1904 was recorded for the first time in Kazakhstan.

The paper provides the results of seven-year study of downy mildew on Skadovsky Zvenigorod Biological Station of Moscow State University (ZBS MSU, Moscow Region). A total of 29 species of Peronosporales (Oomycota) were revealed during the study. An annotated list of species is presented, among them Peronospora anemones is recorded for the first time for Russia, P. chelidonii and P. stachydis are new for the European part of Russia, 8 species are new for the Moscow Region.

The annotated list of hepatics of the Sochi National Park includes 80 taxa. It is based on literature records and identification of 250 specimens collected by the authors. Scapania obcordata (Berggr.) S. W. Arnell and Calypogeia fissa (L.) Raddi var. intermedia (C. E. O. Jensen) Jorg. are new for the Caucasus, 17 taxa are new for Krasnodar Territory, 41 hepatics are reported for the first time for the park. New localities of 3 red-listed European species and of 6 species included in the Red Data Book of Krasnodar Territory are cited, indicating significant conservation value of the reserve.

An annotated list of hepatics of Monche-tundra Mts. was compiled for the first time. It includes 123 species and 8 varieties. Lophoziopsis excisa var. elegans is reported as new for the Murmansk Region, Lejeunea cavifolia was recorded secondly for the region, and Scapania tundrae is new for Lapland State Nature Reserve. There are 18 species listed in the Red Data Book of Murmansk Region.

The aim of the work is to supplement and clarify the annotated list of vascular plants of “Castel” nature reserve on the Southern coast of the Crimea. Methods. The work is based on the results of long standing field research, which was carried out by the traditional route-reconnaissance method, analysis of YALT herbarium materials and data from literary and Internet sources. Arealogical and biomorphological characteristics of species are given according to "Biological Flora of the Crimea" by V.N. Golubev, biotope coding according to EUNIS habitat classification. The nomenclature of taxa corresponds to the " Spontaneuos flora of the Crimean peninsula" by A.V. Yena and to international databases Euro+Med PlantBase, The Plant List, Catalog of Life. Results. An additional annotated list of vascular plants of “Castel” nature reserve has been compiled, including 152 species, subspecies and cultivars from 97 genera of 38 families, of which 53 genera and 11 families have also not been cited for this territory before. Arealogical, biomorphological, biotopic and sozological characteristics of the taxa are given. As a result of a critical analysis of the list previously published by E.S. Krainyuk, four species were redefined, two species were proposed to be excluded from the flora of the specially protected natural area, several taxa are considered doubtful. Conclusions. The list of vascular plant taxa in “Castel” nature reserve has been supplemented with 11 families, 53 genera, and 152 species, subspecies, and cultivars; several species from the previously compiled list have been proposed to be excluded or considered doubtful. Thus, the flora of the protected area includes at least 425 species from 68 families. For the first time, the biotopic characteristic of the flora of the reserve was established.

Jurasaidae are a family of neotenic elateroid beetles which was described recently from the Brazilian Atlantic Forest biodiversity hotspot based on three species in two genera. All life stages live in the soil, including the larviform females, and only adult males are able to fly. Here, we report the discovery of two new species, Jurasai miraculum sp. nov. and J. vanini sp. nov., and a new, morphologically remarkable population of J. digitusdei Rosa et al., 2020. Our discovery sheds further light on the diversity and biogeography of the group. Most species of Jurasaidae are known from the rainforest remnants of the Atlantic Forest, but here for the first time we report a jurasaid species from the relatively drier Atlantic Forest/Caatinga transitional zone. Considering our recent findings, minute body size and cryptic lifestyle of all jurasaids, together with potentially high numbers of yet undescribed species of this family from the Atlantic Forest and possibly also other surrounding ecoregions, we call for both field research in potentially suitable localities as well as for a detailed investigation of a massive amount of already collected but still unprocessed materials deposited in a number of Brazilian institutes, laboratories and collections.

The goal of this research is to prioritize effective factors on motivating employees to keep on working and determining the most important effective factors on the employees' motivation. In this paper, to grade effective factors on the employees' motivation for keeping on to work, the Fuzzy AHP method, which is one of the multi-standard decision-making methods was utilized. Field research and library research methods were used for collecting the needed information.  Results indicated that among the effective factors on the employees' motivation for job persistence, the health factor is the most important and financial status is the second most important factor. The least importance is given to the significance of the work for that person. In this paper, the effective factors on the employees' motivation for job persistence were rated for the first time. Results of this research are very useful in devising strategies that are related to keeping employees for the human resources' executives. The results of this paper are not applicable to all organizations. Furthermore, in this research, only the factors with positive impacts on employees for job persistence were rated.

Fifty-one species of Reduviidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) are recorded from Belize; literature citations are provided where relevant, and specimen data are included for examined material. Thirteen previously-described species are reported from Belize for the first time, ten of which represent new generic records: Eupheno histrionicus Stål, 1862 (Cetherinae); Ghinallelia signoreti (Dohrn, 1860) (Emesinae); Rasahus albomaculatus (Mayr, 1865) (Peiratinae); Leogorrus interruptus Champion, 1899; Microlestria laevis Champion, 1899; Nalata quadrituberculata Champion, 1899; Nalata setulosa Stål, 1862; Pseudozelurus superbus (Champion, 1899); Zelurus spinidorsis (Gray, 1832) (all Reduviinae); Oncerotrachelus conformis Uhler, 1894; Saica fuscipes Stål, 1862 (both Saicinae); Gnathobleda litigiosa Stål, 1862; and Stenopoda wygodzinskyi Giacchi, 1969 (both Stenopodainae). Among the ten subfamilies reported, Belizean records for one subfamily, Saicinae, are reported for the first time. Accompanying the checklist are the descriptions of Castolus omega Swanson sp. nov. (Harpactorinae) and Pygolampis aptena Swanson sp. nov. (Stenopodainae).

The Karatag gorge is one of the natural areas where valuable genetic resources (wild, fruit and many valuable species) are preserved. A characteristic feature of the region is the richness of the diversity of flora and vegetation, where the main formations of Tajik vegetation are noted (maple, hazel, almond, frame, juniper). The article summarizes the results of the authors’ field research on the study of the state of xerophilic forests in the Karatag gorge. For the first time, the authors cite original materials on the phytocenology of all formations of this type of composition. According to the results of our research, the Shibleak communities in the study area are distributed in high-altitude belts from low-hilly 600–800 m to middle mountains 800–1800, 2000 m. The main formations of this type in the study area are: Acer regelii, Crataegus pontica, Celtis caucasic, Pistacia vera, Amygdalis bucharica, Ampelopsis vitifolia, Atraphaxis pyrifolia. As a result of the study, 340 plant species, 6 formations and more than 25 vegetation associations were identified in the composition of the flora of this type of the study area.
