The article discusses the publishing activities of statistical institutions in Western Siberia in the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries. Selected and systematized groups of publications. The first group of publications was presented by “Reports”, “Protocols” and “Journals” of meetings of statistical accounting centers; the second is the “Reviews”, which were attached to the Governor’s annual, all-submitted report; the third group- "Provincial and regional statements"; the fourth is “Memorable Books”; fifth - scientific periodicals; the sixth one is separate independent publications on branches of statistical accounting of the region.

This is the third article in the cycle of publications on the monopolization level of scientific periodicals of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It is devoted to the journals of Section of Physical, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. The paper finishes the first stage of research aimed at revealing the breadth of the authors’ community of the NAS of Ukraine journals during 2015–2017. As well as in the previous articles of this cycle, the estimation of the authors’ community and its monopolization level is made by the Herfindahl–Hirschman Index calculation. Thus, the quantitative weighted distribution of affiliation is made for each journal. The analysis of the journals of Section of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Section of Chemical and Biological Sciences is made in the articles previously published in the “Herald of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” (2018, No. 9 and 2019, No. 10). It was shown that the chemical and biological journals of NAS of Ukraine have the lowest monopolization level — there are only 23% of middle-monopolized and 27% of low-monopolized ones. Meanwhile, only 19% of journals of the Section of Social Sciences and Humanities have the moderate monopolization level and the rest have the high one. Journals of the Section of Physical, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences are more like chemical and biological ones. They mostly have high monopolization level (54%), however 17% are moderately monopolized and 25% are low-monopolized.

A new cultivar of smooth bromegrass (Bromopsis inermis Leyss) Flagman was developed by methods of mass selection and polycross. Breeding and wild forms of various ecological and geographical origins are used as an initial material. The authors of the cultivar: Kazarinova I.N., Polyudina R.I., Straub A.A., Gomasco S.K. Studies were conducted on the Central experimental base of the Siberian research Institute of fodder crops of the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, located in the forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia (Novosibirsk region, Novosibirsk district, Krasnoobsk). The cultivar is mid-ripening: the period from the beginning of spring aftergrowing to mowing ripeness is 63-75 days and to full maturing of seeds is 95-111 days. The yield of dry matter is 8.3 t/ha, which exceeds the standard by 8%, seed yield - 0.62 t/ha, higher than the standard by 28%. The dry matter yield of the cultivar Flagman for the fourth year of use exceeded the standard by 23% and reached to 11.4 t/ha. The 1000 seeds weight is 3.0-3.4 g. The plant height is 90-140 cm. Tilling capacity is up to 40 stems per tuft. Foliage varies from 32 to 50% depending on the age of the grass and environment conditions. The resistance of the cultivar to brown rust and helminthosporiosis is higher than of the standard. The copyright certificate No. 71916 and patent No. 9653 were received.

This article reviews the linguistic features of some cultivated plants in the Khorezm language and has been thoroughly analyzed. Traditions, traditions, living conditions of Turkic and Mongolian peoples, as well as their similarity in agriculture, have also been reflected in their languages. This is particularly evident in many meetings of Turkish and Mongolian parallels in the field of agriculture and livestock.

AbstractThis thematic issue of Itinerario brings together a selection of papers presented at the international conference Beyond the Islamicate Chancery: Archives, Paperwork, and Textual Encounters across Eurasia, which was held at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna in early October 2018. The conference was the third instalment in a series of collaborations between the Institute of Iranian Studies at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the University of Pittsburgh examining Islamicate cultures of documentation from different angles. Surviving precolonial and colonial chancery archives across Eurasia provide an unparalleled glimpse into the inner workings of connectivity across writing cultures and, especially, documentary practices. This particular meeting has attempted to situate what has traditionally been a highly technical discipline in a broader historical dialogue on the relationship between state power, the archive, and cultural encounters.

A comprehensive study of the composition of sand and silt deposits of the Yu1 horizon of the Vasyuganskaya Formation upper part of the Verkh-Tarskoye oil field has been carried out. Associations of authigenic minerals have been determined in their cement, among which the calcite is the most widespread. According to petrographic parameters, three generations of calcite have been identified for which detailed isotopicgeochemical and ultramicroscopic studies were carried out for the first time. Wide and multi directional changes in the isotopic composition of carbon and oxygen and in the chemical composition of carbonate minerals were recorded, they indicate significant variations in the conditions of diagenesis and catagenesis, primarily temperature, and different sources of CO2. Significant variations in the isotopic composition of formation waters and its relationship with the isotopic composition of carbonates have been established. Thus, a narrow interval of close δ13C values was revealed, amounting to –10.5 to –9.1 ‰ in the formation waters of group II, and from –10.7 to –9.1 ‰ in calcites of the third generation. The source of CO2 in this system should be considered a carbon dioxide, which is formed in the process of metamorphism of carbonate rocks of the Paleozoic age.
