The lack of knowledge about cervical cancer in woman of childbearing age is the cause of high mortality rate problem. The awareness of performing inspection with acetic acid is low. The aim of the study is to find the EMO-DEMO educational influence on the enhancement of knowledge, attitudes and participation of women of childbearing age in screening cervical cancer using the method of Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA). We undertook this research using quasi experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The sample selection was made probability sampling simple random sampling for 60 respondents per group, the data collected using the questionnaire for the knowledge and attitude data and the interview sheets for the participation data. The results show there is a meaningful difference between pretest and posttest on knowledge, attitude and participation in cervical cancer screening using VIA method with p = 0.000. In conclusion, there is increase in knowledge, attitudes and participation in screening cervical cancer using VIA.

This study aims to determine differences in conceptual understanding of students who are taught using the Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transfering (REACT) model with students who are taught using conventional models and to describe the improvement in conceptual understanding of students in class XI SMA Kemala Bhayangkari on Acid Basa material. The form of research used was a quasi experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design research design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIA SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya for the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 62 students. The sample selection technique was carried out by simple random sampling. The data collection technique used was a test of students' conceptual understanding. Data analysis used Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene statistic, U-Mann Whitney and N-Gain calculation. The results of data analysis using the U-Mann Whitney test obtained an asymp.sig (2-tailed) value of 0.208, which means that there are differences in conceptual understanding between students taught using the REACT model and students taught using conventional models.. Based on the N-Gain calculation, it is known that the REACT model can improve students' conceptual understanding by 0.42 in the moderate category.

In the world, around 1.62 billion people have low HB levels, around 30.2% occur in the group of women aged 15-49. In Indonesia, anemia cases rank 4th in the top 10 most disease groups. Prolonged iron deficiency can cause anemia, so it needs to be treated immediately so it doesn’t continue into pregnancy age which can cause complications until maternal and perinatal death. Papua has an abundance of marine wealth; one of those is Kerang Dara. Through this study, researchers wanted to explore the health benefits of nature. The aim is to see the effect of Consumption of Kerang Dara Cookies (Anadara Granosa) on Changes of Hemoglobin Levels of in Woman of Childbearing Age as an Effort to Prevent Anemia in District Aimas, Klaigit Village. Type of this research is quasi-experimental by pretest-posttest control group design method. The population of all the women of Childbearing who live in Klaigit Village, with a total sample of 14 people divided into 2 groups: control and intervention. Data collection techniques using random sampling. The time of data collection occurred for 2 weeks, starting from September 20th to October 4th. The results based on statistical tests using T-Test, then the value 884 is greater than the value of the table 0.05, then the conclusion is there is an Effect of Consumption Kerang Dara Cookies (Anadara Granosa) Towards the Increased of Woman of Childbearing Hemoglobin Levels in Klaigit Village in District Aimas in 2019.

Abstract Background The method of communicating a positive cancer screening result should seek to alleviate psychological distress associated with a positive result. We evaluated whether the provision of information through a leaflet would help reduce psychological distress in a randomized controlled trial. Methods The participants were women aged 20–69 years who were about to undergo cervical cancer screening at health centers. Before the screening, they received hypothetical screening results, with a leaflet (intervention group, n = 493) or without it (control group, n = 479), randomly. Their psychological distress and intention to undergo further examination were then compared between the intervention and control groups. Results After the intervention (providing a leaflet with hypothetical screening results), psychological distress appeared to be higher in the control group than in the intervention group among those who received a hypothetical positive screening result (odds ratio: 2.57, 95% confidence interval: 1.87–3.54), while 95% and 97% of those in the intervention and control groups, respectively, reported that they would undergo further examination. Conclusions Information provision might help reduce psychological distress but not hinder further examination among women who screen positive for cervical cancer. Trial registration: UMIN Clinical Trials Registry UMIN000029894. Date of Registration: November 2017.

SMA 5 and SMA 21 are the leading schools in Makassar City which have a Youth Counseling Information Center. Previous research looked at the influence of game simulation and brainstorming on the knowledge and attitudes of stundent about reproductive health for high school adolescents in Makassar City, including SMA 5 and SMA 21, but the results did not have effect on students' knowledge and attitudes. Therefore, the researcher took the initiative to provide another intervention in the form of counseling. This study aims to determine the effect of counseling on knowledge and attitudes about risky sexual behavior among students in SMA 5 and SMA 21 Makassar City. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a randomized pre test post test control group design. A sample of 76 students of class XI SMA 5 and SMA 21 Makassar City, using simple random sampling technique. Data collection was using a questionnaire. Statistical analysis used paired t-test and independent samples t-test. The results showed that there was an effect of counseling on knowledge (p = 0.002) but there was no effect on attitudes (p = 0.865) in SMA 5 and SMA 21 Makassar City. It is suggested that SMA 5 and SMA 21 Makassar City be active in conducting counseling, especially counseling about attitudes, so that students have positive attitudes about risky sexual behavior.
