This study investigated the relationship between training and development and productivity of workers of Nigeria Agip Oil Company, Port Harcourt. A review of relevant literature revealed that intellectual response to the issue focused on the relationship between training and productivity in other work organizations and also excludes managerial development. They also failed to specify the method of training, and omitted the development of managers in connection to workers’ productivity. This enabled the researchers to identify the gap in knowledge on this area of research, taking cognizance of the various training and development methods, such as on-the-job, off-the-job trainings and development of managers. In the bid to investigate the relationship between the variables, four research questions and four hypotheses were posed to guide the study. Human capital theory was utilized in the clarification and explanation of the causal connection between the study variables. Simple random and random samplings were adopted. The sample size of 316 was determined with the aid of Taro Yamane Statistics, from the population figure of 1500. The study adopted cross-sectional research design and generated data through survey. Data were generated through the questionnaire and analysed using percentage, while chi-square (X2) statistics was applied to test the hypotheses. The study concluded that there is significant relationship between on-the-job training, off-the-job training, development of managers and productivity of Nigeria Agip Oil Company, Port Harcourt respectively. It also found significant relationship between training and development of workers and inducement by the acquired knowledge and skills to look for better jobs in other organizations. The study thus recommended regular on-the-job training, regular off-the-job training and development of managers, amongst others. The study thus established that training and development significantly cause workers’ productivity in Nigeria Agip Oil Company in Port Harcourt.

The school counseling core curriculum is an essential element of a comprehensive program. School counselors need to be proficient in classroom management to successfully implement this intervention, yet few recent empirical investigations of school counselors’ classroom management knowledge and skills exist. We conducted a Delphi study with school counseling classroom management experts to create a consensus list of competencies associated with effective classroom management for school counselors. We provide implications for school counseling stakeholders.

Widyaiswara plays an important role and determines the effectiveness of the implementation of education and training programs, so this study aims to determine the assessment of training participants on the performance of Widyaiswara in implementing learning management competencies and the constraints found during the education process in the substantive technical training in the preparation of teaching materials for Ibtidaiyah madrasah teachers. In the Ministry of Religion of the Banjar City in 2018. Researchers used a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were observation sheets, researchers' notes during the learning process and unstructured interviews. Researchers used integrative qualitative data analysis techniques between interactive models and propositions through three stages of analysis, namely data reduction, display, and conclussion/verification and carried out with a basing strategy on theoretical propositions or concept propositions of academic evaluation and widyaiswara competence in the learning process of education and training. This proposition is then used as a theoretical orientation that guides the analysis of this study. The results showed that the training participants' evaluation of the widyaiswara aspects of management of educational material = 85.6, the interaction of widyaiswara with the training participants = 85.1 was GOOD, the organization of learning = 86.7, classroom management = 89.1 and the utilization of education and training facilities = 86.1 was VERY GOOD. The average acquisition of all evaluation indicators of widyaiswara's competence in learning management has fulfilled the predicate of Very Good with a score of 86.52. The assessment of widyaiswara cannot be separated from the constraints found during the learning process, namely (1) The hours of theory and practice learning are not yet proportional, (2) Products or results of training activities, (3) Limitations of the internet network, (4) Limitations of infrastructure and the location of the training, and (5) The limited time provided in the Follow-up Action activities. There are so many characteristics and traits of personality and all the characteristics, qualities and competencies need training, grooming, improvement and development. The best classroom environment is one that results in efficient learning. Discipline involves employing guidance and teaching techniques to encourage students to become self-directive and therefore to create an atmosphere conducive to learning. Teachers are decision-makers as they manage the daily routines of their classrooms. Some teachers squeeze out every minute of learning possible. They are highly organized and well prepared, and they constantly think and plan ahead. This doesn’t mean that they create a cold classroom atmosphere where students feel unwelcome. Rather, they are warm and enthusiastic teachers who are simply well organized and equally well versed in teaching. The major objective of this study was as to investigate the problems of classroom management of the secondary school teachers in Punjab. The population of the study consisted of the heads of the teacher training institutions, teacher educators, heads of secondary schools, secondary school teachers, and students. The sample included randomly selected ten heads of teacher training institutions, 50 teacher trainers, 800 hundred heads of secondary schools, 4,000 secondary school teachers and 4,000 students. Four questionnaires (one each for heads, teacher trainers, teachers and students) were developed for collection of data. Data were collected, analyzed and interpreted in the light of objective by using the Chi- Square. It was concluded from the study that the majority of respondents agreed that secondary school teachers were aware of time management skills, kept the classroom environment conducive for learning, and improved the learning skills of the students by using different behavior modification techniques. The majority of respondents agreed that secondary school teachers were dealing with the students in a non-psychological way; it was the common areas in which secondary school teachers had weak competencies. For improving the classroom management skills, in-service short courses should be planned and attendance of secondary school teachers in such courses should be made obligatory. For maintaining the discipline in the class, teacher should be trained in such a way that they properly understand each and every method with its proper use in particular situations. Short courses, seminars and symposia should be organized on a regular basis to refresh the knowledge of working secondary teachers. Teachers should understand human, as well as educational, psychology and apply it in their teaching process in the classroom.
