The NEO-IPIP-300 is a 300-item version scale of freely available personality tests based on the OCEAN Model of 30 distinctive personality traits. The scale measures human personality preferences and groups them into five distinct factors, namely Openness to Experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. The scale has been translated into many languages before, but there was no translation and norms available for the Urdu language.Paper reports the translation, creation of web version, data collection (N=869), and reliability of Urdu version of NEO-IPIP-300. We also did a CFA Analysis and Measurement Invariance test as part of the paper. Full measurement invariance was met for the full model, and partial measurement invariance was met for neuroticism (metric and scalar) and extraversion (metric). In general, all models fit well and suggest that the Urdu IPIP-300-NEO aligns well with the English IPIP-300-NEO. In some cases, the Urdu inventory performed better (e.g., higher internal consistency) than the English inventory.

This study aimed to translate and culturally adapt the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center Overuse Injury Questionnaire (OSTRC-O) and the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center Questionnaire on Health Problems (OSTRC-H) into the Japanese context. The validity and reliability of these translated questionnaires examining overuse injuries and health problems among Japanese university athletes were also examined. The translation was performed following an internationally recognized methodology. A total of 145 athletes were tracked over 10 consecutive weeks and four questions were added in the 10th week to examine the questionnaires’ content validity. Test-retest analysis for reliability was performed 24–72 hours after the 10th week of registration. Internal consistency was determined by calculating Cronbach’s a during the cohort study. No major disagreements were found in the translation process. The translated questionnaires had high acceptance and compliance, with an average response rate of over 80% throughout the 10-week cohort study. Most participants reported that the questionnaires were not difficult to complete, there were no items they wanted to change or add, and that the web-based technique worked effectively. Good test-retest reliability and high internal consistency was observed in the translated questionnaires. The translated questionnaires were found to be valid, reliable, and acceptable for medically monitoring Japanese athletes.

Abstract Background: To assess the evidences of validity and reliability of a set of scales on different areas of job satisfaction (general professional activity, health services management, and working conditions) in Peruvian physicians based on data from the National Survey of Satisfaction of Users in Health (ENSUSALUD).Method: We carried out a psychometric study based on secondary data analysis. Participants were selected from a two-stage probabilistic national representative sampling stratified by political region. Validity was assessed by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and measurement invariance analysis. Reliability was assessed by internal consistency coefficients (alpha and omega). The set of scales was composed of items related to three different areas of job satisfaction: 1) satisfaction with general professional activity, 2) satisfaction with the health services management, and 3) satisfaction with the working conditions of the health center. Results: We included 2,137 participants in the analysis. General professional activity scale with 6 items (CFI=0.946; RMSEA=0.071; SRMR=0.035) and the health services management scale with 8 items (CFI=0.972; RMSEA=0.081; SRMR=0.028) showed good measurement properties for the one-dimensional model. The scale of working conditions presented adequate measurement properties with a two-dimensional model (CFI=0.914; RMSEA=0.080; SRMR=0.055): individual conditions (8 items) and infrastructural conditions (3 items). The invariance analysis presented that comparisons can be made between sex, age, civil status, medical specialty, working in other institutions, work-related illness, chronic disease, and time working in health care center. All scales had adequate internal consistency (ω and α between 0.70 and 0.90).Conclusions: The set of scales solid factorial structure and measurement invariance, which makes it possible for group comparison. They also achieved stability in their scores as they showed adequate internal consistency coefficients. Based on our findings, these instruments are suitable for measuring job satisfaction among outpatient physicians throughout Peru, as our data is representative at the country level.

This is a design and development carried out to develop a web-based evaluation model in teacher professional programs. The subject of this research were participants in the professional teacher program in 2021. In addition, experts in the field of technology and evaluation are also the subject of this research to assess the feasibility of the developed model. The data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire technique. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive quantitative analysis. Proof of the validity and reliability of internal consistency using the Gregory method. The results show that a web-based evaluation model has been developed by measuring four program components, namely context, input, process, and product. The results of the expert assessment indicate that this model is feasible and meets content validity. The developed model is also reliable based on internal consistency and meets the aspects of practicality and effectiveness based on user ratings.   Keywords: Web-based evaluation, teacher professional program

The goal of this cross-sectional survey research was to find the validity and reliability of assessment instrument for fiqh mu'āmalāt learning with financial literacy oriented for secondary education. To reveal validity is assessed based on obtain judgement expert and reliability measured by internal consistency. It was gained that the validity is 7 items very feasible and 5 item quite feasible with reliability’s value is 0,763. This finding shows that assessment instrument can be used to analyze difficulties of students for designing lesson plan of fiqh mu'āmalāt learning with financial literacy oriented.

This article aims to develop a short form of the locus of control scale. The study was conducted in two stages: a study of 66 respondents as pilot testing which aims to test content validity, structure validity, and internal consistency. Study 2 was conducted on 328 respondents used to test the validity and reliability of the scale evaluated by the PLS-SEM method (such as internal consistency, convergent validity, and discriminant validity). The analysis concludes that the 8-item locus of control scales tested have adequate validity and reliability. A short form locus of control scale was developed and validated in this study, so it can be used in future research and evaluation for HR management practitioners in employee selection Keywords: locus of control, EFA, CFA, scale construction
