The research aimed to examine the effect of caffeine's addition on diluents on Bali cattle epididymis' survival or sperm viability to get the right amount of caffeine. The epididymis collection was taken from the Slaughterhouse of Ternate City. Analysis of sperm vitality or viability was carried out in the Biotechnology Laboratory of Universitas Khairun. The methods in this research were by preparing egg yolk Tris solution treated with caffeine P0 (0 mg/ml), P2 (2 mg/ml), P4 (4 mg/ml), and P6 (6 mg/ml) with four replications, and then the epididymal sperm was inserted into each treatment. The epididymal sperm viability was calculated by evaluating the percentage of the number of living sperm.  It compared to the dead sperm, which were observed microscopically by eosin-nigrosin staining. The data obtained were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) to see if there were significant differences (P<0.05) or very real (P<0.01), the analysis were then continued with the Tukey-W-Procedure test with SPSS 18. The results show that administration of caffeine 2 mg/ml and 4 mg/ml  (86.95% and 86.95%) have a significant effect on the sperm viability of epididymis compared with 0 mg/ml and 6 mg/ml (69.38% and 69.91%) treatments.

Ayurveda approaches to develop physiological reactions to facilitate immunity. Planning of diet is most important to boost immunity.As per many researches to provide supplementary food which contains Zinc, Vitamin C,Vitamin D and immunity boosting foodsuch as citrus natural products, custard apple, apple, papaya is among the Fruits. Vegetables include broccoli, onion, garlic and green leafy vegetables. Nuts, ginger, turmeric, pepper, egg yolk, shellfish, mushroom. The need of the hour is a quick boost to immune system to keep it fit, fighting. One should get the right amount of nutrients from the diet, supplementation regimen to boost immune system.In this review, there are few common supplements and super food studies have been included. It might be a torch bearer as sample menu and their alternatives are given for a normal adult. Needy may change contemplated according to age, sex, body mass index and daily physical activities.

The present investigation was carried out to study the refrigeration preservation of the cauda epididymal retrieved spermatozoa of buck in Tris egg yolk citrate (TEYC) dilutor containing pomegranate juice as antioxidant additive. The retrieved cauda epididymal spermatozoa extended in TEYC dilutor were studied in five groups by adding different concentration of pomegranate juice as additive (0% as control T1 group and 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% as treatment T2, T3, T4 and T5 groups, respectively) and storing at refrigerated temperature up to 48 hr. The results showed that the control extender had the least dead, abnormal and HOS non-reacted sperm percent among all treatments tested and that with increasing the pomegranate juice concentration in dilutor, the percentage of the dead, abnormal and HOST non-reacted spermatozoa increased significantly. The same trend was observed at all 12 hourly storage intervals indicating its detrimental effect on epididymal sperms of bucks at refrigeration temperature. The dead, abnormal, and HOST non-reacted sperm were significantly and positively interrelated with each other (r = 0.53-0.83). It was concluded that the inclusion of pomegranate juice in TEYC dilutor did not show any beneficial/antioxidant effect on epididymal sperms of buck in fresh or refrigerated semen and in fact all the levels of pomegranate juice (5% to 20%) were detrimental to cauda epididymal spermatozoa of a buck.

This solemn observation was made on the fraction of the host, and as that was the time at which a blessing was asked for the living, so also was it the special moment, when, according to the Anglo-Saxon Mass for the dead, on the day of the burial, the deceased was prayed for, by name.

The aim of our study was to examine how different gelatin concentrations affect ram semens viability in liquid storage at 5 oC for five days. Our hypothesis was if we add gelatin to the semen extender, than the viability of ram semen will be better in the extenders containing gelatin, than the control. We used two different semen extenders:1.5% UHT milk and 1.5% UHT milk + 5% egg yolk. We added 0; 0.5; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0% Dr. Oetker gelatin to the semen extenders. We stored the semen for five days at 5 oC and in every 24 hour we made sampling.We stained the smears with Kovács-Foote staining and evaluated them with light-microscope. We categorized the cells in five groups like: live and intact cells, live cells with injured acrosome, dead cells, live head with dead tail and live tail with dead head. We used one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) to assign how gelatin concentration affects the number of the categorized cells. On the fifth day, the viability was the best in the following semen extenders: 1.5% fat UHT milk + 1.0% gelatin and 1.5% fat UHT milk + 1.5% gelatin, but it was not significant (p>0.05).

Antioxidants are linked with sperm viability because of their protective effects against cell damage during preservation. In order to enhance the life span of refrigerated buck semen, this study was carried out to determine the effect of fruit-rich antioxidants on spermatozoa viability and lipid peroxidation (LPO) of buck semen during liquid storage. Pooled semen from five Red Sokoto bucks was diluted with Tris-egg yolk based extender and supplemented each with juices from pawpaw tomato and watermelon at 0, 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10/ 100 ml respectively. Following dilution, the semen samples were assessed subjectively after in vitro storage at 5°C for 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours as regards sperm motility, abnormalities, and acrosome status using a phase-contrast microscope. The concentration of malondialdehyde (MDA) as indices of lipid peroxidation (LPO) in the stored semen was measured in thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) at 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours. The results showed highest progressive motility in watermelon juice at 2.5% (P<0.05) during the first 24 hours of storage while the lowest progressive motility was recorded at various levels of pawpaw juice (P<0.05). After 48 hours of storage, extender supplemented with watermelon and tomato juices had better progressive motility compared to control except 7.5% and 10%% of tomato juice (P<0.05). Irrespective of level of juice in the extender, the percentage of intact acrosome was similar among the various juices and control. The results showed that spermatozoa extended with watermelon juice had the lowest (P<0.05) percentage abnormality compared to other extenders at 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours of storage. Higher (P<0.05) percent spermatozoa abnormality compared to other fruit juices and control was observed at 72 and 96 hours of storage in spermatozoa extended with pawpaw juice. Significant reductions of MDA concentrations were achieved by addition of fruit-rich antioxidants to Tris-egg yolk based extender during the first 72 hours and the reduction was much pronounced in extender supplemented with pawpaw juice compared to control (P<0.05). The findings reveal that fruit-rich antioxidants from watermelon and tomato have protective ability to maintain sperm viability and to reduce concentration MDA of buck semen during liquid storage.

This study examines a number of specific examples of halakhic (Jewish legal) matters discussed in the New Testament that are also dealt with in the Dead Sea Scrolls. This paper compares and contrasts the rulings of these two traditions, as well as the Pharisaic views, showing that the Jewish legal views of the Gospels are for the most part lenient views to the left of those of the Pharisees, whereas those of the Dead Sea Scrolls represent a stricter view, to the right of the Pharisaic views. Ultimately, in the halakhic debate of the first century ce, the self-understanding of the earliest Christians was very different from that of the sect of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

What kind of work does the categorical distinction between combatant and civilian do in the interplay of the necropolitics and biopower of the Turkish state? This paper focuses on a time period (2015-2016) in the history of the Kurdish conflict when that distinction was no longer operable as the war tactics of the Kurdish movement shifted from guerrilla attacks of hit and run in the mountains to the self-defence of residents in urban centres. It reveals the limit of inciting compassion through the figure of civilian who is assumed to entertain a pre-political life that is directed towards mere survival. It also shows how the government reconstructs the dead bodies using forensics and technoscience in order to portray what is considered by Kurdish human rights organizations civilians as combatants exercising necroresistance. As long as the civilian-combatant distinction remains and serves as the only episteme of war to defend the right to life, the state is enabled to entertain not only the right to kill, but also to turn the dead into the perpetrators of their own killing. Finally, this paper argues that law and violence, on the one hand, and the right to life and the act of killing on the other, are not two polar opposites but are mutually constitutive of each other in the remaking of state sovereignty put in crisis by the Kurdish movement's self-defence practices.
