Oriental dance classes today are one of the current areas of physical culture and health activities for women of different ages. They have a positive effect on their physical and psycho- emotional state. The problem of insufficient formation of the system of scientific and methodological support of this type of health-improving motor activity is relevant. The work is devoted to the issue of priority motives of women of different age groups to oriental dance classes. Involvement of the population in physical education is impossible without knowledge of motivation to exercise. Taking into account the priority motives for the construction of physical culture and health classes is important. We conducted a survey of women aged 16-61 who are engaged in oriental dances. We found diversity and heterogeneity in the structure of women's priority motives for oriental dance. The results of our study show that the priority motives of women are participation in competitions, the formation of body parameters, improving of health, improvement of psycho-emotional state. Participation in competitions, as well as improving of the parameters of the figure are important motives for young women. Improving of health and improvement of psycho-emotional state are important for older women. Abstract Background Prevention is an important instrument for public health improvement and maintaining workability of active age people. National Health Insurance Fund of Bulgaria (NHIF) finances an annual regular check-up for people over 18 years of age. In addition, working people have access to preventive activities at their workplace. The aim of the study is to explore an actual regularity of preventive activities at active population in Bulgaria. Materials and Methods Data were collected by documents review and direct individual self-administered questionnaire, within a larger research project on health of active population in Bulgaria. It includes 326 employees in a study representing different branches, companies and professions. The questionnaire consists of questions about: a) distribution of risk factors, b) knowledge and attitude to prevention as a tool for better health c) types and regularity of preventive activities. Data processing was performed by SPSS v.24. Results Three of four respondents have been diagnosed with chronic disease, 49.4% of them suffer from more than one disease. One third of observed people take more than one medicine. Despite NHIF offers free of charge and obligatory annual check-ups, only 46% of study subjects have undergone a preventive examination within the last year, 49.7% - between 2 and 5 years and 4.3% have done so more than 5 years ago or never, which decrease the effectiveness of preventive measures. Visiting regular check-ups is significantly lower for younger age groups (below 44 years; p < 0.05). Relatively large part of people measured blood pressure (88.5%), blood glucose (67%) and blood cholesterol (51.5%) during the last year in relation to any symptoms, but not within the regular check-up. Conclusions Study results confirm the current tendency for low coverage of annual check-ups of working population in Bulgaria. Potential of preventive activities is not rationally used because recommended regularity is not observed. Key messages Phenomena as polymorbidity and polypragmasia are widely distributed in Bulgarian active population. Potential of preventive activities is not fully used because recommended regularity is not observed. Despite Bulgarian NHIF finances obligatory annual check-up for people aged over 18 years, most people become subjects of medical examination in case of disease symptoms, rather than regular check-ups.

In this study, there are results that contradict the theory which states that the higher the level of training and motivation, the employee's performance should increase.  In this study, training had no effect and motivation had no positive effect. This study aims to determine the effect of training and work motivation on employee performance in Kopiloka 3.0.  The population in this study were all employees at Kopiloka 3.0, which amounted to 15 people with a sample of 15 people using saturated sampling.  The data analysis technique in this study used SPSS 24 software, which consisted of data quality test, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. By using multiple regression analysis, the results of the study show that training has no effect on employee performance.  Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance.  Simultaneously (together) the independent variables of training and motivation have an effect on employee performance.

The gastrointestinal absorption of Fe and Co by rats and guinea pigs of different ages was measured by comparing the whole-body retention of 59Fe and 57Co after oral and intraperitoneal administrations. The age-groups studied included newborn, weanlings and adults. The absorption of both Fe and Co decreased markedly with age in both rats and guinea pigs. In the rat, absorption remained ele vated during the suckling period, while in the guinea pig absorption decreased markedly during suckling. In both species, Fe and Co absorption were similar, and remained elevated above adult values for some time after weaning. The generally greater absorption of Fe and Co by rats than by guinea pigs and the longer duration of maximal absorp tion in the rats may have involved differences in Fe status in the two species and differences in the timing of gut mat uration.
