In facing the industrial era 4.0, college graduates in information and computer science are required to adapt to the developments and needs of current industrial technology. The link and match between the world of education and industry is the key to optimizing the absorption of skilled labor. To answer these challenges, the Information systems undergraduate study program at Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto, SUHU, and T-Lab held a Webinar Series "Link & Match of Information Technology between Academics and Industrial Needs" with the topic of Digital Business Roadmap: Exploring creative digital business ideas. This webinar activity is carried out using a mentoring method as well as sharing new knowledge with participants about Digital Business Transformation and how to explore creative digital business ideas. The result is that participants can understand digital business transformation and then explore creative digital business ideas to be developed in a business proposal.

We must look ahead at today's radical changes in technology, not just as forecasters but as actors charged with designing and bringing about a sustainable and acceptable world. New knowledge gives us power for change: for good or ill, for knowledge is neutral. The problems we face go well beyond technology: problems of living in harmony with nature, and most important, living in harmony with each other. Information technology, so closely tied to the properties of the human mind, can give us, if we ask the right questions, the special insights we need to advance these goals. Herbert A. Simon (2000)

The current adjustment of the "Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka" curriculum has resulted from reviews for the curriculum, especially for the higher level of education in architecture. At the same time as the Covid 19 pandemic that hit Indonesia and affected all fields, including the world of education, especially the Sekolah Tinggi Arsitektur (STARS) YKPN Yogyakarta. STARS YKPN which is a change in the form of the Akademi Teknik (AT) YKPN, in carrying out its role as an educational institution cannot be separated from this situation. In addition to this, the existence of the Architects Law, and many new policies and regulations from the Ministry of Education and Culture, require institutions to change shape. AT YKPN which initially only had a 3 years Diploma Architectural Drawing Study Program, after the change of form to STARS YKPN, currently has 2 study programs, namely 3 years Diploma Architectural Drawing and Bachelor of Architecture. With these changes, it is necessary to change the curriculum and learning methods, both in the 3 years Diploma Architectural Drawing Study Program and the Bachelor of Architecture Study Program. This article aims to provide an overview of how various changes occur, especially the curriculum and learning methods.

Computer science and information systems are interrelated disciplines that both cover the technical and functional aspects of computing. They are fields of study in high demand by students and employers. Yet, many colleges do not have the resources to offer multiple computing departments. So, professional organizations have developed model curriculums to help define the knowledge necessary for information technology majors. This chapter provides a discussion of model IS and CS curricula. It is hoped that IT departments will be able to develop an information technology curriculum, which suits their student’s needs.

The difficulty of including women in a male dominated environment is a current problem, leading to important factors such as the role of women in society, whose rules were always imposed and created by men. Specifically in the Information Technology (IT) field, there have been a growing concern as projects are being created with the main goal of studying this issue and reverse it. This work explores what motivated undergraduate students of Computer Science and Information Systems courses of Fluminense Federal University (UFF) to choose this area and how they are experiencing the first years in college. This research was conducted with a qualitative methodology in order to understand the main fears and difficulties they had while choosing those courses and how they are dealing with a mostly male environment. Our results are based on activities from #include <meninas.uff> project, organized by female professors at UFF to attract more girls to technology courses and to support undergraduate students already enrolled. The female students affect by the project show to appreciate how it is raising an important question about the gender gap and the issues they have faced since they chose a course in the IT field.

In the world of education the utilization of information technology is something that must be implemented, one of which is the use of the internet which can be used as a medium for disseminating information. Informatic Study Program of Sumbawa University of Technology is a study program that has graduated many alumni, but so far there is no portal that can manage information regarding the whereabouts of its alumni. This causes the study program difficulties in getting the latest information of the alumni when needed. Therefore, in this research a website-based alumni information system was designed which aims to facilitate the Informatic Study Program of Sumbawa University of Technology in managing and searching for information related to alumni data. In building this system researchers used the PHP programming language with CodeIgniter Framework and MySQL as the database. Then for the development of this software is using Waterfall model. It is hoped that when this system is implemented it can be used by study programs and alumni in managing alumni information, making it easier and faster to conduct data collection and reporting of existing alumni data.

AbstractDevelopment and dissemination of the information technology throughout the world, as well as the convention potentials for rapid information exchange, primarily via Internet-based platforms, enable for rapid reporting, data collection, data analysis and situation-based decision-making. Such a workflow is especially important in management of rapidly developing emergencies, including NREs. IAEA has already established several such platforms and is intensively working on the improvements and upgrades of the existing ones, as well as on the development of new, sector-specific information platforms. This chapter gives information on the currently existing/developing IAEA platforms for management of NREs.

The world continues to be driven by the rapid development of information technology and globalization. Not surprisingly, the working environments that have been projected to grow the fastest are all related to the usage of computers, the Internet, and information systems. With globalization, many multinational corporations (MNCs) are increasingly employing virtual teams (VTs). It was reported that 137 million workers worldwide are involved in some form of remote electronic work (Solomon, 2001).
