Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a condition where a person does not have immunity. The disease can be transmitted from pregnant women to the child they are carrying, in an effort to detect early HIV, VCT needs to be done. Karanganyar Community Health Center data in 2017 VCT service coverage for pregnant women in 2017 was less than 26.7%. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the use of VCT in pregnant women. This type of research is quantitative by using descriptive correlation method and cross sectional approach. The population is 70 pregnant women who were obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data obtained by closed questionnaire and data analyzed using frequency distribution and chi square test. The results showed knowledge about VCT examination included less (52.9%), attitudes included negative (55.7%), secondary education (52.9%), most did not work (67.1%), more than half received less support from their husbands (57.1%), and most did not utilize VCT services (72.9%). Factors related to the use of VCT are knowledge (p value 0,000), attitude (p value 0,000), education (p value 0,000) and husband's support (p value 0,000), unrelated factors are work (p value 0.196). The conclusion from this study factors related to the use of VCT are knowledge, attitudes, education and husband's support. Therefore, it is better for health workers, especially nurses, to provide nursing services to pregnant women, especially the use of VCT services as an effort in early detection of HIV in pregnant women. Objective: to see the relationship between parity and the incidence of perineal ruptur in normal delivery. Methods: this type of research uses an analytical method based on a cross sectional design. The population is all mothers who give birth at the Kassi Kassi Health Center Makassar City can use 30 people. The sampling technique used was Consecutive Sampling. Results: The results showed 76.7% of respondents experienced perineal tears, of which 26.7% of respondents experienced 1st degree perineal tears and 50.0% of respondents had grade 2 perineal tears. 23.3% of respondents did not experience perineal tears. From the results of the chi-square test with a value of p=0.05, the probability of the result is greater than a significant tarf of 5% (0.071> 0.05), meaning that there is no parity relationship with perineal tears in mothers with normal delivery at the Kassi-Kassi Community Health Center, Makassar City. 2020. The strength of the relationship between variables is rather low, the value of the Phi coefficient (μ) = 0.488 or 48.8%. Abstract: Ferritin is a kind of protein that is important in iron metabolism. In normal condition, ferritin saves iron that can be used again as a required. In iron overload, iron body store is greatly increased and there is much ferritin in the system, such as the liver and spleen. This study aimed to determine the relationship of ferritin and protein intake among pregnant women in North Bolaang Mongondow in 2015. This was an analytical study with a cross sectional design. The population was all pregnant women in North Bolaang Mongondow. There were 72 people as samples obtained with purposive sampling method. Low ferritin levels were found in 26 respondents (36.1%) while normal ferritin levels were found in 46 respondents (63.9%). There were 18 respodents (44.4%) with enough protein intake. Of the 18 respondents, there were 2 respodents (11.1%) with low ferritin levels and 16 respondents (88.9%) with normal ferritin levels. The chi-square test with a confidence level 95% showed that there was a significant correlation (P = 0,019) between the level of ferritin and protein intake among pregnant women. Conclusion: There was a significant correlation between the level of ferritin and protein intake in pregnant women II-III trimesters in North Bolaang Mongondow. Keywords:ferritin, protein intake, pregnant women.
