This study aims to determine the effect of perception toward math, ability of understand of symbols, mastery of basic concepts, and learning motivation toward the mastery of instructional materials of mathematics. The sample of study consisted of 181 Junior High School math teacher. Data were gathered using questionnaires and tests. Data were analyzed using path analysis with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The perception toward math as exogenous variable. The ability of understand of symbols, mastery of math basic concepts, and math learning motivation as exogenous or endogenous variable depend on the path diagram. The endogenous variables is the mastery of mathematics instructional  materials. The finding showed that: (a) perception toward math have positive direct effect toward ability of understand of math symbol (β21=0,63); mastery of math basic concepts (β31=50); math learning motivation (β41=0,38); and  mastery of math instructional  materials (βy1=0,21); (b) ability of understand of math symbol  have positive direct effect toward mastery of math basic concepts (β32=0,23); math learning motivation (β42=0,27); and mastery of math instructional  materials (βy2=0,35); (c) mastery of math basic concepts have positive direct effect toward math learning motivation (β43=0,26) and to mastery of  instructional  materials of math  (βy3=0,24); the last (d) math learning motivation have positive direct effect toward mastery of math instructional  materials (βy4=0,24).

This study examined the relationships between the factors that influence residents’ attitudes toward supporting for sustainable tourism in an island context. A quantification approach was employed to obtain the residents’ perspectives. This study collected 384 valid questionnaires from the residents and analyzed the collected data using structural equation modeling to test the model. The findings revealed that the Maximizing Community Participation dimension demonstrated a positive direct effect on residents’ support for sustainable tourism, and this dimension explained most of the variance in the model. The Perceived Economic Benefits dimension exhibited a positive direct effect on the residents’ support for sustainable tourism. Perceived Economic Benefits mediated the effect of Environmental Sustainability on support for sustainable tourism. The findings provide practical implications for policy makers on the promotion of sustainable tourism.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurship Intention of students of private Islamic universities in Jakarta. This study shall be focused on the variables of entrepreneurial education, namely Attitude and Self Efficacy, to mediate the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention. The object of the study was 400 students from private Islamic universities in Jakarta with accreditation A and B, entrepreneurial curriculum as faculty and university subjects, and entrepreneurial concentration in major. This study applied a multivariate analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The findings suggest that Entrepreneurship Education does not have a positive direct effect on Entrepreneurial Intention, yet has a considerable effect on Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy and Attitude. However, Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy has no effect on entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurship Intention is influenced by Entrepreneurship Attitude. Furthermore, this study obtained a noteworthy finding, namely the effect of Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy on Entrepreneurship Attitude.

This study examines the relationships between the flow in physical education (P.E.) class, school life stress, and aggression in adolescents. A total of 470 surveys collected from five different high schools in Daejeon, South Korea, were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Study results indicated that the flow in P.E. class had a significant negative direct effect on school life stress, but did not have a significant direct effect on aggression. Furthermore, school life stress had a significant positive direct effect on aggression. Finally, flow in P.E. class had a significant negative indirect effect on aggression mediated by school life stress. The findings of this study are valuable for education experts to establish more effective P.E. curriculums in reducing school life stress and aggression.

Purpose Following the identified need for more explicit contextual studies in servitization research, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationships between and among economic context, service provision and service return, including the service paradox. Design/methodology/approach Firm-level and macroeconomic (country competitiveness) data are combined to operationalize the constructs considered in the study. Structural equation modeling and cluster analysis are used to investigate the direct relationships between economic context, service provision and service return, and the negative association between the development of economic context and the service paradox. Findings The analyses confirm the general assumption that service provision has a positive direct effect on service return. Economic context seems to have no direct effect on service return and, contrary to what was expected, it has a negative impact on the intensity of service provision. Thus, service provision fully mediates the negative impact of context on service return. Finally, the service paradox occurs more frequently in less-developed economic contexts, where the probability of a relatively low service return coupled with high service provision is significantly higher. Practical implications The study identifies five key elements of economic context that have to be incorporated into the strategic decision-making process regarding product-related services offered by manufacturers. Originality/value The paper contributes to the contextual research of services offered by manufacturers. Subject to future empirical testing, it is proposed that a more favorable economic context offers more possibilities for manufacturers to cooperate with other business actors to provide services.

The population in this study were all students of class 2015 and class of 2016 Study Program of Physics Education at with a total of 224 people. The research sample was taken using the Slovin technique with a total of 145 students. The data collection process was carried out using questionnaires and tests of physics learning outcomes that have been empirically tested. The results of the research data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling analysis method with Analysis of Moment Structures technique. Through this model it can be concluded: (1) learning facilities have a positive direct influence on students learning motivation at; (2) learning facilities do not have a positive direct influence on the results of students studying physics at; and (3) learning motivation has a positive direct influence on the results of students learning physics.

The objectives of the study were as follows: To examine the validity (or adequacy) of using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with pre-service student teachers in the West Bank (Palestine), to identify the perceptions of student teachers with respect to ease and utility of using computer technology, and to identify the attitudes of student teachers toward computer technology and their intention to use it in teaching. To achieve these objectives, six null hypotheses were formulated. The sample consisted of 260 student teachers. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique was used to analyze data. Results revealed that the fit between the data TAM model was acceptable. Also, the results revealed that student teachers used computer technology with ease and this had a positive direct effect on their perception of its usefulness. In addition, perception of usefulness had a positive direct effect on the attitude of student teachers toward its use, which in turn, had a positive direct effect on their intention to use it. However, the perception of student teachers with respect to using computer technology with ease had no direct effect on their attitude toward its use, and their perception of usefulness of its use had no direct effect on their intention to use it.
