Heavy metal cadmium (Cd) is one of the environmental contaminants harmful and accumulates in the tissues of living creatures. One example of an exposed kamium can ditemukann in smokers. Cadmium contained in cigarette smoke enters through the inhalation then the cadmium is transported in blood and excreted through urine. The levels of cadmium in the body which exceeds the Value of the Threshold can cause damage to the kidneys and liver. The purpose of this study was to determine the picture content of cadmium in the urine of active smokers. Methods this study is no Study of this descriptive type of case report. The sample used comes from the 12 research subjects who are willing to be taken a sample of her urine. The inspection method used is Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS).The results of this study are from 12 samples of active smokers in RT 01/I Sendangguwo South results obtained for cadmium content 0,000185 mg/L below Threshold Limit Values. Conclusion this study is an overview of the levels of cadmium in the urine on the whole subject of research under the Threshold Value.

Lipstick or lip dye is a cosmetic dose that serves to coloring, decorative the lips, as a moisturizing material and protect the lips from exposure the sun to provide optimum results. Lipstick should not contain chemicals such as lead (Pb) because the Pb is a heavy metal that is very dangerous when continuously used on the skin, because it will be absorbed into the blood and attack the body organ causing the onset of disease. According to BPOM that the lead rate on the lipstick does not exceed the permissible limit of 20 mg/kg or 20 ppm. This research aims to know the levels contained in the samples are 4 brands of matte lipstick that are sold in the Aceh market in Banda Aceh City with the method of atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS). The results showed that on the 4 brands of lipstick matte contain heavy metal lead (Pb) with a rate still qualified allowed by BPOM  is samples A, B, C, and D, respectively at 0.24 ppm; 0.10 ppm; 2.87 ppm and 1.32 ppm, so that the 4 brands of lipstick matte are still used.

Banten Bay is an area affected by industrial, shipping, and domestic activities. These have the potential to produce wastes in the form of heavy metals and can accumulate in the body of aquatic organisms such as the splendid ponyfish Eubleekeria splendens (Cuvier, 1829). This study aimed to determine the accumulation of heavy metals Hg, Cd, Pb, and Cu in splendid ponyfish Eubleekeria splendens (Cuvier, 1829) meat in Banten Bay, Serang Regency, Banten Province. Sampling was carried out for three months, from August to October 2020. Analysis of heavy metal content was carried out using AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer). The content of heavy metals Hg, Cd, Pb, and Cu in splendid ponyfish meat were <0.030 mg/kg, <0.001 mg/kg, <0.005 mg/kg, and 0.224-0.437 mg/kg. Bioaccumulation of heavy metals Hg, Cd, Pb, and Cu in small and big splendid ponyfish meat has a low accumulation rate. During the observation period, the heavy metal content of Hg, Cd, Pb, and Cu in small and big splendid ponyfish meat was not significantly different.

Abstract Marine pollution to be contamination that often occurs at this time. Commonly, one of pollutants found at sea is heavy metal pollution because heavy metal can be dangerous, it is not degraded by the body, toxicity properties in living organisms even at low concentrations and can be accumulated in a certain period. Heavy metals are found in marine waters are polluted Cadmium (Cd). Biota were used as indicators of environmental pollution marine white is fish and shellfish bloating blood. Standard National Indonesia (SNI) based, maximum Content of Cadmium in the body of organisms was 0,2 mg/kg. The aimed of the study to determine differences in Heavy Metal Cadmium fish and shellfish bloating blood contained in Manyar, Gresik waters and the Jabon, Sidoarjo waters. This research is descriptive and the data obtained and analyzed Independent Samples T 2 test. Cadmium content analysis done by destructive methods then performed using Atomic Absorbance readings Spectrophotometric (AAS). Based on analysis of the has been done that cadmium content the heavy metal of cadmium content in the Manyar Gresik water, in Gresik on Mackerel average rate (0.12888) ppm, and still below the Indonesian National Standard threshold (SNI 0,2 mg/kg), and blood clams at (1.24483) ppm have exceeded the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 0,2 mg/kg). The content of cadmium in the Jabon Sidoarjo waters, the mackerel average rate (0,01891) ppm, and still below the threshold Indonesian National Standard (SNI 0,2 mg/kg), and blood clams at (0,69937) ppm, has exceeded threshold of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 0,2 mg/kg).

The article is focused on estimation of Zinc in the roadside forages, and blood of buffaloes feeding on these forages. This study was carried out in Sargodha during December 2015 to January 2016 (winter) and May 2016 to June 2016 (summer). Five road sites (Mateela, Faisalabad roadside, Shaheenabad roadside, Bhalwal roadside and 50 chak) were selected from sampling of forages, soil and buffalo blood sample. Heavy metal analysis of all digested samples was done with atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Analysis of variance and correlation was done with two way ANOVA. This study regarding the accumulation of zinc in forages, soil and the buffalo blood would help the authorities to exactly determine the agents which are responsible for increasing pollution in the environment.

Epistaxis in children is one of the important presenting symptoms for attending emergency department in paediatric patients. Recurrent epistaxis is common in children. Although epistaxis in children usually occurred due to different benign conditions, it may be one of the important presenting symptoms of some inherited bleeding disorder. Whereas most bleeding disorders can be diagnosed through different standard hematologic assessments, diagnosing rare platelet function disorders may be challenging. In this article we describe one case report of platelet function disorders on Glanzmann’s thrombasthenia (GT). Our patient was a 10-year old girl who presented to us with history of recurrent severe epistaxis. She had a bruise on her abdomen and many scattered petechiae in different parts of the body. Her previous investigations revealed no demonstrable haemostatic anomalies. After performing platelet aggregation test, she was diagnosed as GT.
