Transport links largely determine the potential of a country located within the Asian region to interact with market entities beyond region’s borders. Meanwhile, transportation logistics of individual regions, territories, and countries is a complex integrated problem, whose solution is based on the approaches to fundamentals of organisation of the operation of transport infrastructure. One of the key tasks in organizing the work of the transport system of the Republic of Kazakhstan is to determine the location of the elements of its transport and logistics infrastructure. At present, theoretical and methodological approaches to solving this problem can be divided into multicriteria analysis and coordinate (gravitational method) approach. The objective of this article is to analyze the possibility of using gravitational and multicriteria methods to find the optimal location for transport and logistics centers using the example of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Based on that the research was intended as an attempt to find optimal location of transport and logistics centers in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was clearly shown that the use of the gravitational method has constraints if not supplemented by the use of the multicriteria analysis method when solving the problem of choosing the optimal location of the transport and logistics infrastructure at the example of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Depok City as the main supporting area for the capital of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta, is facing various problems of transportation mode. Some policies have been made to overcome the problems of transportation, especially traffic jam. Although the system is well developed, it will not succeed as long as it is not sufficiently improved. The aim of this research is to analyze the transportation system and human being’s needs in a family in Depok City. The method of research used here is descriptive-qualitative. The results of research show that to achieve sustainable and environmentally sound development in Depok City, transportation system has an important and strategic position. However, efficient, competitive, cheap transportation services have not been well developed so that it has potential to destruct the environment and cause traffic jam. Such a condition shows the 'trade-off' the Government of Depok City should face. The enhancement of mobility through providing road infrastructures has supported the economic growth and human being’s needs in a family.

Subject. After the collapse of the USSR, smaller countries chose different paths in their economic policy during the globalization and the multipolar world. The EU, USA and Russia made a palpable contribution to the economic policy of smaller countries. Some countries of the former USSR failed to find their course, while the others immediately followed their development strategy and stuck to it persistently. Objectives. I examine the economics of the monodirectional strategy of smaller countries of the former USSR. I also evaluate how the countries found their position among different leading countries as points of attraction. The study is based on the assumption that the single direction of the national development and adherence to the same point of attraction will ensure the sustainable development. However, the economic development level depends on the health of a certain economy as a point of attraction. Methods. The study is based on the systems approach, comparative and statistical methods for analyzing macroeconomic data series. Results. I investigated the dynamics of key macroeconomic data in the Republic of Belarus, Latvia and Estonia, such as GDP per capita in current values, unemployment rate and Purchasing Power Index. Given the current phase of globalization and multipolar world, it is crucial for smaller countries to choose a development strategy to follow persistently and achieve proper macroeconomic indicators that depend on the economic stability of counties they treat as their benchmarks. Conclusions and Relevance. I should mention the successful economic policy of Estonia and Latvia, which followed the same course as the other EU countries, as opposed to the Republic of Belarus tending to the policy of the Russian Federation. Nevertheless, the monodirectional development strategy also helps smaller countries ensure their economic stability.

The appearance of the COVID-19 virus in Europe, at the beginning of 2020, brought many challenges and changes to society. These changes affected the behavior, desires, and needs of passengers in vehicles. The change in passenger behavior has contributed to the more difficult organization of passenger transport and traffic management. For these reasons, in the countries of South-East Europe (Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, the Republic of Northern Macedonia and Croatia), this survey was conducted in order to examine which demographic characteristics of respondents (age, gender, residence, education, and health) influence choice of transport, with the aim to optimize the transport system in times of crisis in this region. 786 respondents participated in the research. The results showed that the acceptability of vehicle occupancy most often differs with respect to age, education, and health conditions of the respondents. The obtained results will greatly help the organizers of public transport and the transport system in the region, since based on these results they can have an insight into the demographic factors that influence the choice of transport mode during a crisis.

The phenomenon regarding the emersion of the idea of Indonesia Raya Incorporated (IRI) is interesting to be thereferences in economic policy studies. This study aim to reveal and interpret the management of state asset ownership as a proposal on the IRI approach. This research used qualitative method, designed with grounded theory approach and constructivism philosophy. The results reveal that: (1) The gap on state asset ownership by state-owned enterprises(BUMN), regional government-owned enterprises(BUMD) and private sectoras a result of economic liberalization is the antecedent of the emergence of the idea about IRI; (2) IRI encourages changes in the legislation for new economic policies; (3) The new economic policy,in form of IRI eliminates the gap in state asset ownership by BUMN, BUMD and private sector; (4) The gap on state asset ownership by BUMN, BUMD, and private sector will determine the prospects of society welfare level and economic sovereignty, and finally lead to the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. It is generally concluded that IRI whichis proposed in the management of state asset ownership has fulfilled the economic constitution.

Tembalang District has 206,271 residents, with 156,8 m3 amount of waste generated. Tembalang Sub-District has 18 waste collection point, 23 containers, and 7 transport vehicles to handle solid waste from the waste collection point to Jatibarang Landfill. The percentage of waste transportation services in Tembalang was 27%. There is some waste collection point that has not been able to accommodate waste generation from the Tembalang District residents. Road conditions, road types, and vehicle speeds of the waste transport route affect transporting waste and the remaining work time and the operational costs incurred. This research aims to plan a waste transportation system in Tembalang District by optimizing the work time and cost under the target desired by the relevant department. The average remaining work time is 2.28 hours, with a total of 21 trips/ day. Transportation routes are optimized using Network Analyst on GIS-based applications. Road conditions affect service time with an optimal average speed of 37.607 km h, which causes the addition of the number of trips after optimization increased to 34 trips/day with 31 containers. The average remaining work time is 1 hour. This optimization led to an increase in service percentage to 42%. Vehicle operating costs is increasing each year for about Rp. 694,262,870.53/year with a decrease in the price of fees of Rp. 1,983.59/householder/year due to the rise in service percentage.

The article refers to the research work carried out in recent years at the poultry farms of the Khachmaz region of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the influence of opportunistic microbes on the activities of the farm. The role of opportunistic microbes in the occurrence of certain diseases with deficiencies in the process of feeding and raising of birds, and the microclimate in poultry farms is shown. During the bacteriological examination of breeding eggs by seasons there were revealed the presence of infection in the winter season with E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus – with each infection separately 13.0 %, in the spring season with E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus – with each infection separately 20.0 %, in the autumn period with E. coli 27.0%, Salmonella 40.0 %, Staphylococcus 13.0 % and Streptococcus 13.0 %. In the course of bacteriological examination of dead embryos, the presence of infection in the winter period with E. coli 20.0 %, salmonella 30.0 %, staphylococcus 25.0 % and streptococcus 25.0 %, in the spring  season with E. coli 30.0 %, salmonella 40.0 %, staphylococcus 15.0 % and streptococcus 15.0 %, in the autumn season with E. coli 45.0 %, salmonella 55.0 % was revealed.
