The urgency of the problem is determined by the growing need of participants in the educational process affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 for psychological assistance, and the lack of research that would help school psychologists, social educators to provide quality educational services in distance learning. The purpose of the article is to present the results of research on the psychological support of the educational process in quarantine, to present the experience of the scientific and methodological center of practical psychology and social work of Chernivtsi In-Service Teacher Training Institute, to determine strategies for scientific and methodological support of psychological services in pandemics and distance learning. The article analyzes the quantitative indicators of online activities, the subject of appeals to psychological services by students, parents, teachers during quarantine, Internet resources used in the process of psychological assistance in distance learning. It has been established that quarantine has reduced the productivity of the psychological service of educational institutions, caused restrictions in professional activities. School psychologists fulfilled their professional workload with students only by 18.8%, and social educators − by 9.7%. Many students were not covered by psychological support, socio-pedagogical assistance, and were left «alone» with their problems and difficulties at home. According to the results of the research, the strategies of scientific and methodological support of the activity of psychological service specialists are determined: development of autopsychological competence and self-regulation; development of digital competence; development of tools for professional activity on harmonization of psycho-emotional state, restoration of mental health in victims of the COVID-19 pandemic participants in the educational process.

During the COVID 19 pandemic, the forced and widespread transition to distance learning has required restructuring of the entire educational process at the universities, quick adoption of new tools for work in the digital environment, and adaptation to new ways of communication in the teacher-student system. In May 2020, we conducted an anonymous online survey of the 172 Russian university teachers to determine their readiness to distance learning in conditions of self-isolation during the COVID 19 pandemic. We determine that teachers of all ages, different work experience, and various specializations have a similar (not quite successful) level of psychological state when working in a completely remote mode. We find that teachers’ self-assessment of their readiness for distance learning also has medium-low values. The teachers were not prepared to work exclusively in the remote format, regardless of their gender, age, work experience and specialization. Our analysis shows that teachers’ self-assessment of their professional skills differs between a group of young teachers that do not have PhD (which presumably have higher motivation for career growth, self-development, pursuing a PhD degree, promotion) and a group of senior teachers holding PhDs (who, at the time of the survey, had a significant professional status). Our conclusion suggests that the respondents have quite successfully overcome a high psychological burden and the need for a full transition to distance learning, which accompanied their work during the pandemic. Furthermore, we find that Russian university teachers have a high adaptive potential. A quick transition to remote mode, the need to master new technologies and forms of training did not pose any insurmountable problems for the Russian university teachers but became new motivators for their professional development. Further work requires additional research regarding the high "psychological cost" of such restructuring of consciousness and professional activity.

Introduction. The COVID-19 pandemic may have hit the education industry the hardest, but the socio-psychological effects of quarantine are still poorly understood. A group of scientists from the Ukrainian SMC of practical psychology and social work of the NAES of Ukraine has conducted a study of the socio-psychological problems that have arisen for teaching staff of general secondary education establishments in the context of the pandemic. Purpose. The research was carried out during the implementation of the scientific topic «Overcoming the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in the activities of the psychological service of the educational system» on the order of the National Research Fund of Ukraine. Design\approach\methodology. The study was conducted by interviewing educators through Google forms. Most of the questions contained a 10-step scale. In processing the data, all respondents’ answers were grouped into 5 categories: "yes", "more likely to", "more likely not", "no", "don’t know/it’s hard to say". The survey was attended by 3,209 teaching staff from general secondary education institutions from all regions of Ukraine, 45% from urban areas, 55% from rural areas; among which 92% were women and 8% were men. Results. Among the results, researchers highlighted the difficulties and fears of educators caused by the pandemic. The fears and complexities of the profession were distributed as follows. 1. The fear of getting infected (infecting family members) is common to 78.2% of the surveyed. 40.9% of the interviewed felt this fear to the greatest extent. However, 9.3% found those fears irrelevant. 2. Problems associated with the use of ICT in educational activities (lack of competence) — 53.2%. Among those, 22.2% have major difficulties and 31% have minor difficulties. Only 15.7% consider themselves fully competent. 3. 73% of educators noted difficulties in involving children in distance learning. This was the main problem for 12.8% of respondents. 4. «It is difficult to adhere to all anti-epidemic requirements in an educational institution to protect students» — 69.5% stated that this is one of the most significant problems of professional activity. 5. Emotional exhaustion, loss of emotional balance, excessive fatigue. 58.7% said that the problem was significant, of which almost 18% said it was very significant. 6. 51.1% of respondents indicated that they were unable to communicate with students' parents regarding monitoring the quality of their students' knowledge. Of these, 8.7% rated it with the highest score. 7. Health related difficulties (consequential of COVID-19). 31.2% of educators consider this problem to be relevant, while 8.9% rated it as very relevant. 30.4% of those interviewed denied the existence of such a problem. Conclusions Taking into account the results of the study, the most relevant areas in the work of the psychologists in the educational system are the following: ● prevention among educators and students of the COVID-bullying; ● working with negative emotional states of participants in the educational process and increasing their stress tolerance; ● providing socio-educational assistance to children and families in difficult life situations, and forming positive life prospects. This article proposes a research vision of the problem of using CLIL training in the context of distance education in schools and universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The relevance of the study is due to the lack of the research devoted to the content analysis of the integration of CLIL learning and distance learning technologies, as well as the need to identify the features and universal problems, characteristic of the practice of CLIL learning in distance learning format. The diagnosis of this problem was carried out through an online survey of school teachers and university teachers acting as experts on the implementation of CLIL training in educational institutions of the Republic. To develop a methodology and tools for online survey of teachers scientific works in the field of CLIL training and distance education technologies on the creation of educational resources and a virtual learning environment and on the sociology of education were studied. When processing the results of the survey, we used statistical and descriptive research methods. The results of the online survey confirmed the hypothesis of the study that the main problem of using CLIL technology is the problem of resource provision of the CLIL training program in the context of distance education, as well as the level of methodological and IT-training of school teachers and university teachers. Other features of using CLIL technology in a distance format are as follows: the school teachers and university teachers have an appropriate set of basic competencies of a teacher practicing CLIL training, and, at the same time, their insufficiency for the implementation of the educational process in the context of distance education and, accordingly, the need to acquire additional competencies required by the teacher for the application of CLIL technology in a distance format

The review examines the problem of psychological health of pedagogues in Russian educational organisations – schools, colleges, universities, boarding schools. The analysed and structured modern literature data on psychological studies of pedagogues' health in various educational institutions of Russia noted their specificity and similarities. The work will raise the issue of the importance of monitoring the current state of pedagogues; such indicators of psychological ill health as emotional burnout, mental maladjustment, depersonalisation are considered. There has been a steady growth and disappointing dynamics of an increase in the number of pedagogues experiencing professional burnout. The options for providing psychological support to pedagogues of schools and universities were considered (individual and group trainings; self-reflection sessions; study of special literature); the result of approbation of the psychological assistance programme was evaluated. Possible prospects for the development of the Medical University of Nizhny Novgorod in the context of the problems of preserving and developing the psychological health of a pedagogue are noted. It has been established that the targeted use of a complex of psychological measures that preserve and develop the health of pedagogic workers not only affects the state of the participants in the educational process, but also guarantees the effectiveness of their activities, thereby determining the success of the education system as a whole.

Introduction. Today, one of the criteria for assessing the quality of education is the opinion of students about educational services. Undergraduates enrolled in distance learning programs represent a specific student audience. Features of this category form a social portrait that has the information potential for organizing an effective educational process adapted to the “target audience”. Methodology and sources. In the academic year 2018–2019, the author conducted an empirical case study through an anonymous online survey of graduate students of the correspondence department of the first year of study. Results and discussion. As a result of the survey, respondents have received answers characterizing the peculiarities of their life, sociocultural environment, professional activity and factors of formation of motives of educational activity. The information obtained is presented in tables, which allowed to form a “numerical” outline of the social portrait of an extramural student. The result of an empirical study was a description of the collective image of a student studying in absentia in a magistracy. Active professional activity, focus on success, limited time resources, etc., determined the content of wishes for improving the conditions and process of educational activity. The main adjustments should relate to the effective planning of the educational process, methodological support of classroom and extracurricular activities, providing comfortable conditions for a long stay in an educational institution and communication with fellow students.Conclusion. The social portrait of students contains information about their typical representatives, the sociocultural environment of life.  Regular monitoring of the dynamics of socially significant characteristics of students allows you to quickly make adjustments that improve the quality of education.
