Design of payroll information systems and requests for funds to the company PT. Boetomix Nusantara Lestari WEB-based still uses Microsoft Excel. By using MS Excel, errors that occur in inputting data and requesting payroll data have many errors. The process of sending goods data still uses whatsapp, because whatsapp used by the salary recapitulation officer has difficulty at the end of every month. This application designed has the aim of providing convenience for users so that the recitation process at PT. Boetomix Nusanara Lestari can run quickly and has a high level of accuracy. Interviews, observations and document analysis are methods used in the data collection process. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to describe running business processes and the relationship between users and the system. The employee payroll information system has been tested and the results are in accordance with the needs of PT. Boetomix Nusanara Lestari.

Salon seventyrazor initially used manual recording in serving the queue, Customers who come to register first with the administrative officer. Once recorded in the Microsoft Excel application, will be informed whether there is a queue or directly processed to the Barberman officer. When a customer makes an order through Whatsapp, the process is the same. Estimates for each hair cut are 30 to 45 minutes for each customer. The creation of a Website-Based Salon Service Order Application using Codeigniter on Seventyrazor Salon with the application of gamification as a solution in handling queuing reservations at Barbershop seventyrazors, especially in reducing the number of queues at the location and order cancellations that often occur. In this study the authors used the User-Centered-Design approach with the gamification method as a method of system development and using UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a tool in modeling the system to be built. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the website-based queue ordering application at Barbershop Seventyrazors can accelerate the recording of transactions that will occur today and tomorrow, and customers do not need to queue long at Barbershop because they already know their queue hours. transaction data processing in making monthly reports faster so that it can accelerate the generation of monthly income reports. The application created is a web-based application using a codeigniter framework.

This chapter describes the modeling of the Collaborative Web Based System (CWBS). This CWBS is the means by which the CBPE model, discussed earlier in this book, is practically implemented. The focus of this chapter, however, is on the models of collaborative business processes that can be implemented in CWBS. The software architecture aspect of the CWBS is based on the detailed discussions of technologies in previous chapters 2, 4 and 5. The models in this chapter are based on the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and the use cases are based on the specifications of the Unified Modeling Language (UML). These notations and the ensuing process models are important when organizations try to collaborate with each other. These process models show, visually, how the interactions amongst multiple organizations will take place from a business viewpoint.

Due to the complex timing sequence of NAND flash, a unified design process is urgently required to guarantee the reliability of storage system of nano-satellite. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a widely used high level modeling language for object-oriented design. This paper adopts the UML as the design and modelling tool in the low level storage system design to elaborate the UML application in each phase of design in detail. The result shows taking UML as the modelling tool results in a clear and unambiguity design, which promotes the reliability and quality of software. At last, the feasibility of object-oriented implementation in C is presented.

CV Ribka Furniture merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perdagangan dan pembuatan furniture. Dalam kegiatan operasional gudang merupakan bagian yang penting. Yoga Farm is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that focuses on catfish breeding that is still doing business processes manually. With this process, information received by related parties is very difficult to obtain quickly. Therefore, the product is still not widely known, and customers are still few because the system used in sales and promotions still uses a manual system. The research method used is qualitative. This study aims to create a sales information system recommended at Yoga Farm and design using Unified modeling language (UML) for the recommended business processes. Customers will get product information in real-time, products can be widely recognized, and the number of Yoga Farm customers can increase. Based on the results of this study, adoption of a web-based sales information system can certainly make it easier to get the latest information quickly, can expand the market and can also facilitate customers in the transaction. For future research, this research can be used as a reference for conducting similar studies at other MSMEs to increase sales

Activities of prominent terrorist groups like Boko Haram, Al-Shabaab, Ansaru, and Ansar Dine have left thousands of people dead and properties destroyed for a number of decades in some developing nations. The high level of insecurity occasioned by operations of terror groups has impacted negatively on the socio-economic development of these nations. On the other hand, the use of mobile devices, such as cell phones, has gained prominence in developing nations over the past two decades. Putting side-by-side these two facts, namely, that the menace of terrorism among some developing nations is alarming and that the use of mobile devices is common among citizens of developing countries, this chapter develops a mobile application prototype called TerrorWatch. TerrorWatch is equipped with relevant menus, buttons, and interfaces that will guide a user on what to do when confronted with a terrorist attack or threat. The unified modeling language (UML) was deployed to design the architecture of the application, while the object-oriented paradigm served in the implementation.

The need for fast and accurate data processing is needed by every government agency. The Education Office is an administrative administrator in the field of education that requires a fast system for processing data. The attendance system at the Tangerang Regency education office is already using a fingerprint. However, there are still many obstacles that arise due to lack of tools, and damage to the tool so that it often uses manual attendance. The research method used is the method of data collection, and the analytical method used is a form of Unified Modeling Language. The results and objectives of this study are the creation of a system that can facilitate employee and attendance managers to be more effective and efficient.

Patuk District is a gateway to enter Gunungkidul Regency. In Patuk District there are several tourist attractions such as Kampoeng Emas, Purba Volcano and Embung Nglanggeran. In addition, there is also the potential for processed food products from natural and agricultural products in Patuk District. Leading potentials in Patuk District need to be promoted to the wider community so that they are known and can be an attraction for tourists. The purpose of this research is to design and create a system of promotion of superior products and Web-based tourism objects that can facilitate Patuk District in introducing superior products owned by each village and facilitate the general public to obtain superior product information in Patuk District. The method used in the analysis and system design uses Unified Modeling Language (UML). In this study, a system consisting of three users was produced, namely admin in the Inter-Village Coordination Board (BKAD), admin of business owners and general users. <p>Tendance is a supporting aspect to provide satisfaction for the society. The issue of tendance is less than optimal and it makes the agency image unfavorable. It is sometimes not from the problems of agencies, but the problem is increasing of population. Regarding this matter, the government should be able to take advantage of current technology facilities to provide a service to be more optimal. For example the use of computer media to store the population data in computerized, without having to use media archives offline. Not only the use of computer media, but also can apply an information technology system as known as e-government. Regarding this the authors try to create and develop web-based applications to improve service to the society to optimize the performance of government agencies. The flow of the system process uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) for the modeling process and the creation of applications that are described in the form of diagrams. In general the results made from this application are for making letters such as making domicile letters, business licenses, marriage delivery letters, death certificates, and crowd permits.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Country Office Tendance, E-Goverment, UML</p><p>Pelayanan merupakan suatu aspek pendukung untuk memberikan kepuasan bagi masyarakat. Isu yang terkadang mengenai pelayanan yang kurang optimal menjadikan citra instansi menjadi kurang baik. Hal tersebut terkadang bukan dari permasalahan instansi, akan tetapi timbul akibat semakin ramainya penduduk disuatu tempat sehingga data kependudukan menjadi banyak. Mengenai hal tersebut, pemerintah semestinya dapat memanfaatkan fasilitas teknologi saat ini untuk memberikan suatu pelayanan agar  lebih optimal. Contohnya penggunaan media komputer untuk menyimpan data penduduk secara terkomputerisasi, tanpa harus menggunakan media arsip secara offline. Tidak hanya sekedar memanfaatkan media komputer, tetapi juga dapat menerapkan suatu system teknologi informasi yang dikenal dengan istilah <em>e-government</em>. Mengenai hal tersebut penulis mencoba membuat dan mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat sehingga mengoptimalkan kinerja dari instansi pemerintah. Alur proses sistem menggunakan UML <em>(Unified Modeling Language)</em> untuk proses pemodelan perancangan dan pembuatan aplikasi yang digambarkan dalam bentuk diagram.
