Collaborative Web Based System (CWBS)

This chapter describes the modeling of the Collaborative Web Based System (CWBS). This CWBS is the means by which the CBPE model, discussed earlier in this book, is practically implemented. The focus of this chapter, however, is on the models of collaborative business processes that can be implemented in CWBS. The software architecture aspect of the CWBS is based on the detailed discussions of technologies in previous chapters 2, 4 and 5. The models in this chapter are based on the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and the use cases are based on the specifications of the Unified Modeling Language (UML). These notations and the ensuing process models are important when organizations try to collaborate with each other. These process models show, visually, how the interactions amongst multiple organizations will take place from a business viewpoint.

In the development of information technology very often people want the challenge of speed, accuracy, and ease of access in an information system that must be met well. The grievance system in SMA Negeri 3 Pandeglang is still less effective ie the students complaint complaint still use the way of recording in the paper or the students come directly to the teacher room in complaint to the homeroom teacher. This causes obstacles faced by the guardian of the class where there is a loss of damage on the complaint complaint paper so that complaints complaints are not conveyed to the homeroom teacher and principal. On the basis of the above problems, researchers create a web-based system is expected to help students in complaints and facilitate homeroom teachers, principals and teachers in handling sustainability of student complaints effectively. In designing the system using UML (Unified Modeling Language) and using waterfall method it proposes an approach to systematic and sequential software development starting from the system advance level on all analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance.

Abstract - The Faculty of Engineering is one of five faculties on the Asahan University campus is where researchers conduct research that has three majors including the Department of Civil Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, currently the Faculty of Engineering does not have a promotion service to this community causing information not to be delivered to the public. Faculty of Engineering promotion media website designed to display information, text, images or a combination of them, both static and dynamic which forms a series of interconnected systems where each is connected with the menu page on the website. This system is a web-based system developed with using the prototype method is an object oriented method. The functional approach described on the system using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The results of the study indicate that the device software that is built can provide the information that is needed well. Design of payroll information systems and requests for funds to the company PT. Boetomix Nusantara Lestari WEB-based still uses Microsoft Excel. By using MS Excel, errors that occur in inputting data and requesting payroll data have many errors. The process of sending goods data still uses whatsapp, because whatsapp used by the salary recapitulation officer has difficulty at the end of every month. This application designed has the aim of providing convenience for users so that the recitation process at PT. Boetomix Nusanara Lestari can run quickly and has a high level of accuracy. Interviews, observations and document analysis are methods used in the data collection process. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to describe running business processes and the relationship between users and the system. The employee payroll information system has been tested and the results are in accordance with the needs of PT. Boetomix Nusanara Lestari.

PT Himalaya Everest Jaya, a company engaged in importers, exporters of electricity and mechanics. In its daily life, PT Himalaya Everest Jaya has used information technology in its operational activities. But problems are often found in supporting operational activities in the field. Where this can hamper the work of every employee who uses it. The problems that often occur include hardware, software, and network connections. Current problem submission is still not effective because employees who have problems must contact the IT directly or by using the telephone. Likewise with recording problems, because the EDP / IT still records every problem using a paper that can be lost or damaged at any time. Therefore, an integrated Helpdesk application is needed and can be accessed quickly by employees and the EDP / IT division. The method used in designing this application is based on the Web, to find out which system is running, the author uses several tools such as Flowmap and UML (Unified Modeling Language), while the system development method uses the Waterfall method. The supporting software used is Xampp, and MySQL as the builder and program documentation. With the existence of a web-based system that has been connected to this database, the process of delivering and handling complaints is expected to be resolved properly and quickly in its handling.

CV Ribka Furniture merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perdagangan dan pembuatan furniture. Dalam kegiatan operasional gudang merupakan bagian yang penting. Namun proses data transaksi masih dilakukan secara manual. Sehingga beberapa kendala masih dialami, seperti kesalahan penginputan saat transaksi pada alat / bahan, yang mengakibatkan perbedaan dalam penginputan data. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat sistem informasi persediaan yaitu pengumpulan data alat dan transaksi material yang akan keluar masuk. Yoga Farm is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that focuses on catfish breeding that is still doing business processes manually. With this process, information received by related parties is very difficult to obtain quickly. Therefore, the product is still not widely known, and customers are still few because the system used in sales and promotions still uses a manual system. The research method used is qualitative. This study aims to create a sales information system recommended at Yoga Farm and design using Unified modeling language (UML) for the recommended business processes. Customers will get product information in real-time, products can be widely recognized, and the number of Yoga Farm customers can increase. Based on the results of this study, adoption of a web-based sales information system can certainly make it easier to get the latest information quickly, can expand the market and can also facilitate customers in the transaction. For future research, this research can be used as a reference for conducting similar studies at other MSMEs to increase sales

The need for fast and accurate data processing is needed by every government agency. The Education Office is an administrative administrator in the field of education that requires a fast system for processing data. The attendance system at the Tangerang Regency education office is already using a fingerprint. However, there are still many obstacles that arise due to lack of tools, and damage to the tool so that it often uses manual attendance. The research method used is the method of data collection, and the analytical method used is a form of Unified Modeling Language. The results and objectives of this study are the creation of a system that can facilitate employee and attendance managers to be more effective and efficient.

Patuk District is a gateway to enter Gunungkidul Regency. In Patuk District there are several tourist attractions such as Kampoeng Emas, Purba Volcano and Embung Nglanggeran. In addition, there is also the potential for processed food products from natural and agricultural products in Patuk District. Leading potentials in Patuk District need to be promoted to the wider community so that they are known and can be an attraction for tourists. The purpose of this research is to design and create a system of promotion of superior products and Web-based tourism objects that can facilitate Patuk District in introducing superior products owned by each village and facilitate the general public to obtain superior product information in Patuk District. The method used in the analysis and system design uses Unified Modeling Language (UML). In this study, a system consisting of three users was produced, namely admin in the Inter-Village Coordination Board (BKAD), admin of business owners and general users. <p>Tendance is a supporting aspect to provide satisfaction for the society. The issue of tendance is less than optimal and it makes the agency image unfavorable. It is sometimes not from the problems of agencies, but the problem is increasing of population. Regarding this matter, the government should be able to take advantage of current technology facilities to provide a service to be more optimal. For example the use of computer media to store the population data in computerized, without having to use media archives offline. Not only the use of computer media, but also can apply an information technology system as known as e-government. Regarding this the authors try to create and develop web-based applications to improve service to the society to optimize the performance of government agencies. The flow of the system process uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) for the modeling process and the creation of applications that are described in the form of diagrams. In general the results made from this application are for making letters such as making domicile letters, business licenses, marriage delivery letters, death certificates, and crowd permits.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Country Office Tendance, E-Goverment, UML</p><p>Pelayanan merupakan suatu aspek pendukung untuk memberikan kepuasan bagi masyarakat. Isu yang terkadang mengenai pelayanan yang kurang optimal menjadikan citra instansi menjadi kurang baik. Hal tersebut terkadang bukan dari permasalahan instansi, akan tetapi timbul akibat semakin ramainya penduduk disuatu tempat sehingga data kependudukan menjadi banyak. Mengenai hal tersebut, pemerintah semestinya dapat memanfaatkan fasilitas teknologi saat ini untuk memberikan suatu pelayanan agar  lebih optimal. Contohnya penggunaan media komputer untuk menyimpan data penduduk secara terkomputerisasi, tanpa harus menggunakan media arsip secara offline. Tidak hanya sekedar memanfaatkan media komputer, tetapi juga dapat menerapkan suatu system teknologi informasi yang dikenal dengan istilah <em>e-government</em>. Mengenai hal tersebut penulis mencoba membuat dan mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat sehingga mengoptimalkan kinerja dari instansi pemerintah. Alur proses sistem menggunakan UML <em>(Unified Modeling Language)</em> untuk proses pemodelan perancangan dan pembuatan aplikasi yang digambarkan dalam bentuk diagram.
