The traffic jam that occurred on the Slamet Riyadi road towards the Palembang Musi 4 Bridge was due to the large volume of vehicles passing through the road due to the diversion of road users who chose to cross the musi 4 bridge so that the volume of vehicles passing on the road grew day by day, causing even the density level higher and cause congestion during rush hours, namely between 07.00-09.00 WIB, between 12.00-14.00 WIB and between o'clock. 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM WIB.By conducting research and calculations, it is found that the capacity of Slamet Riyadi Street is 2291 SMP / Hour, the worst service level, is F for the morning, occurs on Wednesday and Friday. The worst service level in the afternoon is E. The worst service level in the afternoon is F which occurs on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, while the capacity of the Major Memet Sastra Wirya Road section is 2291 SMP / Hour and also the worst service level is F for the morning occurs on Friday. The worst service level, D for daytime, occurs on Thursday and Friday. The worst service level for the afternoon is F occurs on Friday.The cause of the congestion that occurs is caused by some roads littered with garbage from landfills, public transports that carry passengers, some roads are used as pedicab bases, many vehicles violate traffic regulations, and others.

AbstractAn analysis of the rights of road users in Gresikan Market where traders sell to eat the highway, causing congestion and causing motorists to feel disturbed. The congestion comes from buyers who park their vehicles not neatly and by chance, and also caused by traders selling too far into the highway. Not only this cause, this research also provides suggestions for roads around Gresikan Market so that they do not continue to cause congestion on the highway. This research was conducted on traders in Gresikan Market and buyers as well as the police or Satpol PP. With the results of the study will show how the opinions of traders and buyers who cause congestion on the road. This study aims to determine the main consequences of congestion that occurs on the highway around Gresik Market which makes road users or motorists feel disturbed, it also cannot be separated from the security side, namely Satpol PP. From the discussion carried out, it can be concluded that Gresikan Market is actually not feasible in any way because of the less extensive land and lack of security because there are many criminal acts of motorcycle theft when the buyer parks and forgets the key. sometimes the sellers are also visited and warned by the Satpol PP for selling the shoulder of the road. But apart from this, actually the traders who have sold in Gresikan Market already have special land to sell but the perpetrators admit that they are reluctant to sell the land because they feel that their merchandise is not and the traders already have customers in Gresikan Market.Keywords: road user rights, traffic jam, marketAbstrakAnalisa mengenai hak pengguna jalan di Pasar Gresikan yang mana para pedagang berjualan hingga memakan bahu jalan raya, sehingga menyebabkan kemacetan dan menyebabkan para pengendara merasa terganggu.Rupanya, kemacetan tersebut berasal dari para pembeli yang memarkir kendaraan tidak rapi dan sembarangan, dan juga disebabkan karena pedagang berjualan terlalu maju hingga ke jalan raya.Bukan hanya penyebab tersebut adanya penelitian ini juga menyajikan saran untuk jalan di sekitar Pasar Gresikan agar tidak terus-menerus menyebabkan kemacetan di jalan raya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada para pedagang di Pasar Gresikan dan para pembeli serta polisi atau Satpol PP. Dengan hasil penelitian akan menunjukkan bagaimana pendapat para pedagang dan pembeli yang mengakibatkan kemacetan di jalan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui dan mempelajari akibat utama timbulnya kemacetan yang terjadi di jalan raya sekitar Pasar Gresikan yang membuat para pengguna jalan atau para pengendara merasa terganggu, hal itu pula tak lepas dari peran para pihak keamanan yaitu Satpol PP. Dari pembahasan yang dilakukan dapat menarik kesimpulan bahwa Pasar Gresikan sebenarnya tidak layak dari segi apapun karena lahan yang kurang luas dan keamanan yang kurang pula karena banyak terjadi tindak kriminal pencurian motorsaat pembeli memarkir dan lupa mencabut kunci. Terkadang para penjual juga didatangi dan diperingatkan oleh Satpol PP karena berjualan memakan bahu jalan.Namun terlepas dari hal tersebut sebenarnya para pedagang yang berjualan di Pasar Gresikan sudah diberi lahan khusus untuk berjualan namun para pedagang mengaku enggan berjualan di lahan tersebut karena merasa dagangannya tidak laku dan para pedagang tersebut sudah memiliki langganan di Pasar Gresikan.

Traffic jam caused by a lots of vehicles which parked on the road has always been a problem on urban roads. The lack of parking facilities out of the road and a lot of generation due to public facilities such as bank, restaurants, pharmacies, shops, and health center, will have an impact on traffic jam on the Imam Bonjol road section. This research aim for determine the magnitude effect of parking on street to the road performance of the Imam Bonjol street. The data needed includes, highway geometric, collecting data obtained from the results of the surveys is data on traffic volume, side barriers, parking on the road data and speed data. The parking survey methods using plat number methods and the data was analysed using the MKJI 1997 calculation method. The results of this research indicate that parking on the road is affected the performance of the imam bonjol street. the amount of traffic volume on saturday at 20.00 - 21.00 WITA is 3034 vehicles/hour. Side barriers values obtained is 560.7 friction/hour with high conditions typical is commercial areas, high activities on the road side, so the value of capacity dropped from 4576 smp/hour before parking, to 2533 smp/hour after parking on the road. The value average speed of light vehicle on Saturdays for the west to east is 24,42 km/hour, while the east to west is 23,94 km/hour. In 2018 the DS value is 0.65 with the level of service C. Whereas in 2023 the performance increased to DS = 1,23 with the level of service F.

ABSTRAKPersimpangan Jalan Sangkuriang–Jalan Kolonel Masturi, Kota Cimahi sering mengalami kemacetan karena tingginya volume lalu lintas. Lampu lalu lintas yang tersedia pun tidak digunakan karena dinilai kurang efektif, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei langsung di ruas jalan pada tiap lengan simpang dan juga persimpangannya pada waktu puncak yaitu pukul 06.00–08.00 WIB dan 16.00–18.00 WIB. Kinerja simpang dianalisis menggunakan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia Tahun 1997. Pada kondisi eksisting, yaitu simpang tak bersinyal, diperoleh nilai derajat kejenuhan ( ) sebesar 1,299 dan 1,323 pada periode pagi dan sore hari, dimana nilai tersebut tidak memenuhi syarat, karena memiliki nilai lebih dari 0,85. Pada kasus simpang bersinyal, harus dilakukan penyesuaian geometri, dimana pada kasus ini, dilakukan percobaan penambahan lebar efektif pada tiap lengan menjadi sebesar 4 m, dan dihasilkan rata-rata nilai derajat kejenuhan ( ) sebesar 0,76 dan memenuhi syarat, dimana nilai kurang dari 0,85. Kata kunci: simpang tak bersinyal, simpang bersinyal, derajat kejenuhan. ABSTRACTSangkuriang St.–Kolonel Masturi St. Intersection, Cimahi City often faces the traffic jam because of the high traffic volume. The existing traffic lights are not used because they are considered to be less effective, so the research needs to be done to solve these problems. This research was conducted with using a survey method directly on the road section on each approach and also its intersection at the peak times, specifically at 06.00–08.00 WIB and 16.00–18.00 WIB. The intersection performance was analyzed using the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. In the existing conditions, unsignalised intersections obtained the value of Volume Capacity Ratio ( ) of 1.299 and 1.323 in the morning and evening periods, where the value does not meet the requirements, because the value that obtained is more than 0.85. In the signalised intersection case, geometry adjustments must be made, where in this case, we did a trial with increasing the effective width to 4 m, and we achieved the average value of Volume Capacity Ratio ( ) of 0.76 and it met the requirements where the value is less than 0.85.Keywords: unsignalised intersection, signalised intersection, volume capacity ratio.

Abstract The Meulaboh - Tapak Tuan road is the main access road linking several districts, Aceh Barat, Aceh Barat Daya, Aceh Selatan, and Aceh Tengah. After the earthquake and tsunami hit Aceh, its economies experienced rapid growth. This greatly influences the distribution of traffic volume on specific road segments, including the increasingly congested Meulaboh - Tapak Tuan roads. As a result, the number of private vehicles is increasing. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the performance of roads in the area based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual, as well as to analyze the level of road services at present and in the future. The analysis of the road performance can be measure by several indicators such as traffic flow (Q), capacity (C), degree of saturation (DS), free flow velocity (FV), and level of service on the road section. The calculations were obtained from 3 days direct observation in the field from 07:00 to 19:00 with Monday and Thursday representing workdays and Saturday representing weekend. The highest conversion value of traffic flow in 2020 was 1357 pcu/hour for (Q), 2654 pcu/hour for the actual capacity value (C), and 0.51 for the degree of saturation (DS). The analysis results show that the degree of saturation < 0.75. According to Marga (1997), it is considered in good condition with smooth traffic flow at the service level of C. The road performance analysis for the next five years for traffic flow was 2093 pcu/hour for Q and 0.79 for the degree of saturation (DS). The service level is categorized as level D. It is necessary to find solutions and alternatives to reduce the degree of saturation (DS) value by increasing the value of capacity. Pasca gempa dan tsunami menerjang, pertumbuhan ekonomi pada Provinsi Aceh mengalami kemajuan yang cukup pesat. Hal ini sangat mempengaruhi penyebaran volume lalu lintas pada ruas-ruas jalan tertentu termasuk ruas jalan lintas Meulaboh – Tapak Tuan semakin padat. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan evaluasi kinerja terhadap ruas jalan pada kawasan tersebut berdasarkan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia, dan menganalisis tingkat pelayanan jalan pada saat ini maupun di masa yang akan datang. Dalam menganalisis kinerja ruas jalan indikator kinerja yang dibutuhkan yaitu arus lalu lintas (Q), kapasitas (C), derajat Kejenuhan (DS), Kecepatan arus bebas (FV) dan tingkat pelayanan pada raus jalan tersebut. Hasil perhitungan yang di dapat selama 3 hari pengamatan langsung di lapangan dari pukul 07.00-19.00 wib yaitu hari senin dan kamis mewakili hari kerja, hari sabtu mewakili hari libur. Didapat nilai konversi tertinggi arus lalu lintas pada Tahun 2020 (Q) sebesar 1357 smp/jam, nilai kapasitas aktual (C) sebesar 2654 smp/jam, derajat kejenuhan (DS) sebesar 0,51. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat derajat kejenuhan < 0,75 (Marga, 1997) dianggap dalam kondisi baik, arus stabil, kecepatan dipengaruhi oleh lalu lintas dengan tingkat pelayanan C. Perhitungan analisis kinerja jalan pada 5 tahun mendatang yaitu untuk arus lalu lintas Tahun 2025 (Q) sebesar 2093 smp/jam derajat kejenuhan (DS) sebesar 0,79 tingkat pelayanannya dikategorikan tingkat D. Hal tersebut dapat dicari solusi terbaik sehingga dapat menurunkan nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) dengan cara meningkatkan nilai kapasitas. Kota Semarang mengalami peningkatan pergerakan lalu lintas setiap tahunnya, khususnya  Kecamatan Semarang Tengah, yang memiliki fungsi sebagai kawasan pusat perbelanjaan, perdagangan dan jasa, perkantoran, dan pendidikan. Pemerintah Kota Semarang telah berupaya mengatasi permasalahan lalu lintas dengan menerapkan sistem satu arah pada ruas Jalan Gajahmada, Jalan Pandanaran, Jalan MH. Thamrin, Jalan Pemuda, Jalan Imam Bonjol Selatan, Jalan Kapten Piere Tendean, dan Jalan Indraprasta. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran efektivitas atas penerapan sistem satu arah pada ruas jalan tersebut dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif hasil keluaran EMME2 versi 9.5. Hasil dari penelitian ini yakni setelah diterapkannya sistem satu arah masih terdapat ruas jalan yang mengalami penurunan kinerja jalan, yaitu ruas jalan Imam Bonjol Selatan belum sesuai dengan persyaratan fungsi jalan karena lebar badan jalannya hanya 10 meter sedangkan dalam persyaratan untuk fungsi jalan arteri sekunder lebar badan paling sedikit 11 meter, ruas Jalan Kapten Piere Tendean dan Pandanaran nilai DS 0.75 pada waktu sore hari dan berada pada tingkat pelayanan D pada ruas Jalan Pandanaran sedangkan tingkat pelayanan E berada pada ruas Jalan Kapten Piere Tendean. Selain itu, pada ruas Jalan Imam Bonjol Selatan, Kapten Piere Tendean, dan Pandanaran masih belum sesuai dengan indikator kinerja sistem jaringan jalan untuk meminimalisasi atau mengurangi ketertundaan total dan panjang perjalanan total karena kecepatan perjalanan menurun dan kapasitas jalan belum mampu menampung beban lalu lintas. Solusi penanganan yang dilakukan adalah nilai DS harus 0.75 dan maksimal menunjukkan ditingkat pelayanan C, Jalan Kapten Piere Tendean, dan Jalan Pandanaran, pelebaran jalan 1 meter pada ruas Jalan Imam Bonjol Selatan dan pengaturan off street parking pada ruas Jalan Imam Bonjol Selatan, Kapten Piere Tendean, dan Pandanaran. Kata kunci: EMME2 versi 9.5, kinerja sistem jaringan jalan, permasalahan lalu lintas, sistem satu arah.   Performance Analysis of One - Way Roads in Central Semarang District, Semarang : The city of Semarang is experiencing an increase in the movement of traffic every year, especially in Central Semarang District which has a function as a shopping center, trade and service area, office area, and education area. The Semarang City Government has tried to overcome traffic problems by implementing a one - way system on Gajahmada, Pandanaran, MH. Thamrin, Pemuda, Imam Bonjol Selata n, Piere Tendean, and Indraprasta streets . This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the one - way system on the road using the analysis method, which wa s descriptive and quantitative output of EMME2 version 9.5. The re sults showed that after the implementation of one - way system, there was still decreased performance in some roads. The road segment in Imam Bonjol Selatan street had not fulfill the requirements for road functions because the width of the road wa s only 10 meters, mean while according to the requirements for secondary arterial road functions it should be at least 11 meters. The DS value of Piere Tendean and Pandanaran Roads was 0.75 in the afternoon . Furthermore, the level service of Pandanaran Road was D w hile Captain Piere Tendean Road section was E . In addition, Imam Bonjol Selatan, Captain Piere Tendean and Pandanaran Roads we re not in accordance with the performance indicators for the road network ing system to minimize or reduce total delays and total t rip length because travel speeds were declining and road capacity had not been able to accommodate traffic loads. T o overcome this problem the DS value must be 0.75 and the maximum service level should be C in Piere Tendean and Pandanaran Road s , widening 1 meter road on Imam Bonjol Selatan section, and setting off street parking on Imam Bonjol Selatan Road, Captain Piere Tendean, and Pandanaran. The vehicle congestion on the road is increasing day by day and also the management of such large traffic by traditional approach isn’t adequate enough. To eliminate this problem, the project is developed using machine learning in which the testing model is trained to extract the needed image about traffic Information. Extracted information from image sequences of testing model can give us real information to create the database which is the captured images like accident, foggy places, collision of the vehicles, traffic signal, no traffic jam etc. take the image from testing model and processing the trained model which compares the new image and trained image and identify the reason for violation or reason for accident. Data processing will be done to determine the reason under the cause of the accident. This application is utilizing image processing methods designed and modified to the needs and constraints of traffic analysis. Therefore, it shows that it can reduce the traffic congestion and avoids the time being wasted.

The road is an access that connects an area with other areas. With the road, mobility will be easier so that it has an impact on increasing or stabilizing the economy. The Sumberboto-Gunung Gede Blitar road section is one of the access roads to Tambakrejo beach tourism. To improve comfort and safety for road users, it is necessary to improve road quality. This study aims to plan the pavement on the Sumberboto-Gunung Gede Blitar road section. The planning is carried out on the condition of the heavily damaged pavement, with a service life of more than 10 years, the width of the road is 4 meters, the length of the road is 6 kilometers, the type of collector road is class II, and the type of pavement is laston. The planning carried out includes the addition of roads in the hills of Blitar Regency, the data used includes the condition of the sections on the road with calculations referring to the Design Manual Number 02/M/BM/2013 road pavement. The planning results obtained road construction with flexible pavement, with a specification of a surface layer of 10 cm, a layer of 20 cm for the top foundation, 25 cm for the bottom layer of the foundation. From this plan, a total budget of Rp. 13,572,808,084.00 (thirteen billion five hundred seventy-two million eight hundred thousand rupiah) is required. With these results, it can be used as a reference in realizing road construction on the Sumberboto-Gunung Gede Blitar road section.

Job satisfaction is an important factor for employees working in formal and informal sector. The job is small or big, permanent or temporary, risky or non-risky, job satisfaction is important. It is the mental feeling which drives the employees to excel. Job satisfaction is a combination of psychological, physiological and environmental circumstances. A satisfied employee is a contented and happy human being. The labour turnover depends upon job satisfaction. Even highly paid employees quit the job when they are not satisfied with the job. Road transportation in Tamilnadu is growing day by day. Job stress in the road transportation is very high due to increase in number of vehicle playing on the road and heavy traffic. The drivers and conductors working in public transport corporation are suffering from high job stress. If drivers and conductors are not satisfied with their job which leads to mental stresses and affects the productivity and also creates accidents. In this present study the researchers made an attempt to study the level of job satisfaction among the drivers and conductors who are working in the Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC). The study reveals the expectations of drivers and conductors working in TNSTC with regards to the attributes like salary, promotion and fringe benefits etc., are satisfactory and not detrimental.

The application of intelligent transport systems (hereinafter ITSs) on roads enables continuous monitoring of road users during a whole year with the aim to collect good-quality data based on which the more complex analyses could be done, such as monitoring of certain traffic safety indicators. Automatic traffic counters are one of the most commonly implemented ITSs for collecting traffic flow parameters that are relevant for traffic management on state roads in Republic of Serbia. This paper presents one of the possible ways to collect, analyze and present data on road users’ speeds using automatic traffic counters, where certain traffic safety indicators are analyzed in terms of road users’ compliance with the speed limit on the road section from Mali Pozarevac to Kragujevac. Based on the analyses of data downloaded from automatic traffic counters, it is observed that an extremely high percentage of vehicles drive at speed higher than the speed limit, indicating clearly to higher traffic accident risk, as well as to the need for a tendency to implement speed management on roads using ITS in the forthcoming period.

Progress of a country in line with the progress of traffic (transport). Fluency in traffic is determined by the smoothness of traffic on the road. Problems often arise on the highway is congestion at the intersection. Neither was signalized intersections and signalized intersections.
