ABSTRAC Electricity is a source of energy that is widely used for the needs of household electrical appliances that are needed within 24 hours of continuously supplying electricity. Most of the mains voltage is supplied from the state 220 volt. When the electricity goes out, the electrical equipment cannot function properly, therefore there must be an alternative source of electricity to replace it. The purpose of this research is to design an alternative power plant from the initial drive system of a dc motor with mechanical motion transfer using pully and van belt as the drive for the dc alternator. The research method used in this research has the following stages: 1). Designing a dc motor and a dc alternator as a producer of electrical energy, 2). Installing AS bearings, vanbelt and pully, 3). testing and measuring dc motors and dc alternators, 4). Calculate and analyze the design results. From this research, the direct current generated by the accumulator with a voltage of 12 Vdc with a current charge of 10 AH, so that it can be used to turn on the inverter as a means of converting the voltage of a direct power source into an alternating current with a voltage of 220 V to turn on household electrical appliances when supplied. from PLN experiencing a blackout. So that our daily work can run smoothly without any constraints on the flow of electricity.Keywords: MotorDC, PullyVanBelt, Alternator

The need for electrical energy is vital because electrical equipment generally uses electricity as the main energy. Electricity is energy that comes from petroleum which must be saved in its use. To save electricity usage, it is necessary to use electricity as efficiently as possible by not allowing this energy to be wasted. This paper aims to design an application for controlling electrical equipment remotely using the internet network. This tool uses Esp8266 as a link with the internet network, and uses applications on Android as a controlling media. When esp8266 is connected to the internet network and the on / off button on the android application is pressed, the ac and fan lights will turn on or off according to the button pressed. The results of testing this remote electrical appliance controller are that the tool can work properly turning on or off the lights and fans when connected to the internet without distance restrictions.

The need of electricity in every ship are very diverse. Power plants for using diesel as an engine can also come from sunlight as an alternative source of electrical energy. The measurement of solar energy in Indonesia is 4.8 kWh /m2. This renewable energy is in suitable for the Indonesian topography. Thus, the energy from the sunlight around the equator is so abundant that its availability is always available throughout the year, except when it rains. Utilization of solar energy can be used as a substitute for conventional energy which is starting to be limited and the price is quite expensive. Therefore, the data that are presented in this paper comes from publications, manufacturers, relevant official government documents, scientific publications and other publications. Utilization of solar energy as electrical energy can be done by using solar panels mounted in ships. The generated electricity can be used to turn on electrical equipment and send lights at night, and can be used as fishing aids. The use of solar power plant can also have a positive impact on fishermen, such as improving health, economy, environmental sustainability, and building independent fishermen.


According to the present technology commonly used manually operated devices or machines to cut the grass. In this project we introduce the smart grass cutting machine. The machine consisting of rotating blades operated by the DC motor, trolley to store the grass, hurdle removal and the system is operated by the electrical energy provided by the battery, and the solar panel is used to charge the battery. The main aim of the smart grass cutting device is to provide the operation of grass cutting at the desired area input by the user. This machine is designed to cut the grass at the desired height. Grass cutting employing a rotary blade which is rotated along the vertical axis are known as rotary mover. The requirement of electricity is increasing day by day at an alarming rate due to use of electrical gadgets and the growing amount of industries and the machines. Solar energy is a best alternative source of the energy.


The erratic power supply has been a growing cause for concern in developing countries. It becomes more challenging to supply adequate energy in countries with a high population due to the increased demand and this has led to load shedding and spreading in Nigeria. Also, emissions from power plants, impacts of hydroelectric development, and risks associated with nuclear energy use have been targets for political action due to the recent pursuit of sustainability development. Also, evidence of depletion of the protective ozone layer and its impact on the environment have urged the need for rapid development of alternative power generation method void of causing adverse environmental impact. This paper, therefore, discusses the design and evaluation of a self-starting fuel less power generator using DC motor as the prime mover to generate electrical energy from an alternator. The alternator armature shaft was coupled directly with DC motor powered by a rechargeable battery. The DC motor rotates the armature of the alternator in the field coil at high speed when activated from the starting switch, which results in alternating current output voltages of 220V.

Daikin AirConditioning Makassar using air conditioning equipments thatuses electrical energy nearly 60%. This study aims to determinethe used of electrical energy and energy saving opportunities inPT. Daikin Air Conditioning Makassar. Reseacrh is started withprocessing of electrical equipment data for lighting, airconditioning and other electrical equipments data. Researchresult pointed that the used of electric energyin PT. Daiking AirConditioning Makassar is 111.3 kWh/m2 /year and still below thestandart of IKE and can be savingabout 44 kWH/month forlighting system. Recommendations are to perform load balancingeach phase, turn on the light and air condioning only whenneeded.

Abstract - Control and monitoring of the rotational speed of a wheel (DC motor) in a process system is very important role in the implementation of the industry. PWM control and monitoring for wheel rotational speed on a pair of DC motors uses computer interface devices where in the industry this is needed to facilitate operators in controlling and monitoring motor speed. In order to obtain the best controller, tuning the Integral Derifative (PID) controller parameter is done. In this tuning we can know the value of proportional gain (Kp), integral time (Ti) and derivative time (Td). The PID controller will give action to the DC motor control based on the error obtained, the desired DC motor rotation value is called the set point. LabVIEW software is used as a PE monitor, motor speed control. Keyword : LabView, Motor DC, Arduino, LabView, PID.

The use of DC motors is increasingly high and it has more parameters which should be normalized. Now the calibration of each parameters is important for each motor, because it affects in its performance and accuracy. A lot of researches are investigated in this area. In this paper demonstrated how to estimate the parameters of a Nonlinear DC Motor using different Nonlinear Optimization techniques of fitting parameters to model, that called model calibration. First, three methods for calibration of a DC motor are defined, then unknown parameters of the mathematical model with the nonlinear optimization techniques for the fitting routines and model calibration process, are identified. In addition, three optimization techniques such as Levenberg-Marquardt, Constrained Nonlinear Optimization and Gauss-Newton, are compared. The goal of this paper is to estimate nonlinear parameters of a DC motor under uncertainty with nonlinear optimization methods by using LabVIEW software as an industrial software and compare the nonlinear optimization methods based on position, velocity and current. Finally, results are illustrated and comparison between these methods based on the results are made.

<p>This paper explains an adaptive method for estimation of unknown parameters of transfer function model of any system for finding the parameters. The transfer function of the model with unknown model parameters is considered as the adaptive model whose values are adapted with the experimental data. The minimization of error between the experimental data and the output of the adaptive model have been realised by choosing objective function based on different error criterions. Nelder-Mead optimisation Method is used for adaption algorithm. To prove the method robustness and for students learning, the simple system of separately excited dc motor is considered in this paper. The experimental data of speed response and corresponding current response are taken and transfer function parameters of  dc motors are adapted based on Nelder-Mead optimisation to match with the experimental data. The effectiveness of estimated parameters with different objective functions are compared and validated with machine specification parameters.</p>


The aim of the project is to develop a wheel chair which can be controlled by voice of the person. It is based on the speech recognition model. The project is focused on controlling the wheel chair by human voice. The system is intended to control a wheel seat by utilizing the voice of individual. The structure of this framework will be particularly valuable to the crippled individual and furthermore to the older individuals. It is a booming technology which interfaces human with machine. Smart phone device is the interface. This will allow the challenging people to move freely without the assistant of others. They will get a moral support to live independently .The hardware used are Arduino kit, Microcontroller, Wheelchair and DC motors. DC motor helps for the movement of wheel chair. Ultra Sonic Sensor senses the obstacles between wheelchair and its way.


Energy saving can be maximized by rectifying the intermediate conversion processes involved during the utilization of solar energy. The system eliminates the transformation of electrical form of solar energy into another form by directly utilizing its electrical energy in the management and control of power supplies obtained from renewable (solar) and conventional (mains) energy sources. A current control scheme is presented in which current delivered by solar supply is used to control the current in mains supply in such a way that both currents are inversely proportional to each other. Any increment in solar current opposes mains current in the same proportion and vice versa. A balanced common physical output is resulted from the electrical load supplied by each source separately. A natural variation in solar radiation is utilized to fluctuate the solar current which is further used to change the mains current. Energy saving is maximized in this supply management by the optimal utilization of solar energy.
