Plants serve humans as primary sources for food, shelter and medicines. So understanding the plant uses in treating the diseases is very important for leading a healthier life. Our ancestors have used many plants as medicines and there is a need to provide scientific evidence for the same. Lannea coromandelica from family Anacardiaceae is one of the potent remedial plant. It is known as Modhad or Moi in Vernacular language and is found to be distributed throughout India. It is one of the common plants of deciduous forest and plains .It was extensively used by the tribes all over India to treat various diseases. Many investigations on the chemistry of the plant have been done. This article reviews about the plant L. coromandelica.    Keywords: Lannea coromandelica , Anacardiaceae

Abstract Background: Falls are a significant source of morbidity in people aged 65 and over, affecting one in three people in this age group. The scientific evidence indicates that physical activity is the most effective method for preventing falls among seniors. Although public health professionals often use social marketing to design and plan successful interventions, its use to promote physical activity and prevent falls among older people remains low. This article aims to provide a new systematic literature review of social marketing interventions promoting physical activity and targeting people aged 60 and over. Methods: Following CRD’s guidance and PRISMA guidelines, we searched between January 2008 and July 2019 for relevant articles in five primary databases using predefined search and inclusion criteria. Two independent reviewers analysed the selected articles to identify evidence of the seven social marketing benchmark criteria, defined by experts in the field as the common elements that contribute to social marketing success. Results: The final review included nine studies. Of the studies selected, three specifically targeted over 60-year-olds, whereas the others segmented the population into several age-based subcategories, including over 60-year-olds. Eight studies highlighted positive results for the participants with an increase in participation or an increase in physical activity level. None of the nine studies selected for this systematic review implemented the entire social marketing approach. Conclusion: Few published interventions use the seven social marketing criteria. Further research is required to encourage uptake and inclusion in successful social marketing interventions to increase program effectiveness in this target population.

Here, I demonstrate that sex determination and sexual dimorphism across tree of life are deeply related to polyamine biochemistry in cells, especially to the synteny of genes: [SAT1-NR0B1], [SAT2-SHBG] and DMRT1. This synteny was found to be most distinct in mammals. Further, the common protein domain of SAT1 and SAT2 - PF00583 was shown to be present in the genome of the last universal common ancestor (LUCA). Protein domain-domain interaction analysis of LUCAs genes suggests the possibility that LUCA had developed an immune defence against viruses. This domain-domain interaction analysis is the first scientific evidence indicating that viruses existed at least 3.5 billions years ago and probably co-existed with LUCA on early Hadean Earth.

Aims and methodCommunity compulsion via community compulsory treatment orders is used routinely in Scotland. We aimed to describe the common characteristics of individuals subject to community compulsion. We collected standardised information from a national database about individuals subject to community compulsion and compared them with people subject to hospital detention.ResultsAnalysis of 499 cases revealed that the majority of individuals subject to community compulsion had a psychotic illness, had a history of non-adherence to services and treatment, and were more likely than not to be in receipt of a long-acting injection of antipsychotic medication. Patients subject to community compulsion were clinically similar to patients subject to hospital-based treatment orders and usually were considered to pose a risk to other people.Clinical implicationsCommunity compulsion has been widely adopted despite a relative lack of supporting scientific evidence. Our findings are similar to those of other related studies and highlight that individuals with a psychotic illness who are ambivalent about treatment and who pose a risk to self or others are likely to be considered for community compulsion.

AbstractAll the elements of twentieth-century politics in Tamilnadu cohere in 1918–1919: human and natural rights, women's rights, the labor movement, linguistic nationalism, and even the politics of caste reservation. Much has been written of how this politics was mediated by newspapers, handbills, and chapbooks, and the dominant narrative of such events privileges the circulation of print and print culture of vernacular language. This paper explores the relatively lesser-known story of the role and impact of vernacular oratory on the development of the mass political in Tamilnadu from the Swadeshi movement (1905–1908) to the formation of labor unions (1917–1919), and the explicit attempt to persuade non-elites into speech, action, and ultimately politics. I argue that Tamil oratory was an infrastructural element in the production of the political, at least the political as we understand it in twentieth-century Tamilnadu, where oratory became the defining activity of political practice. When elites made the conscious move to begin addressing the common man, when Everyman was called to join into the political, a new agency was formed along with a new definition of what politics would look like. The paper considers what such new agency and definitions entail in pursuit of a better understanding of what constitutes the political generally and the Tamil political in particular.

The Global Positioning System (GPS) has moved toward becoming an amazing tool for ionospheric contemplates. The accuracy of coordination data for the Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver by the GPS monitoring station ought to be expanded. The accuracy can be expanded by deciding the sources of the disturbances that have been delivered by all of ionospheric impacts. The ionospheric delay within the propagation of GPS signal is one among the primary sources of error in GPS precise positioning. The objective of this survey paper is to identify the common factors that affect the accuracy of GPS and identify an effective method which could mitigate or overcome most of those factors. The main objective is the improvement of the measurement accuracy by this correction of ionosphere delay.

Background:  Obesity has become one of the common problems encountered by people of the present day. This condition is often accompanied by cardiovascular problems like hypertension, hyperlipidemia, is chemic heart disease. Also, that the relationship between obesity and cognitive impairment plays an important role in the development of neurodegenerative disorders. But reports on the association between obesity and working memory lack scientific evidence. So, the present study planned to assess the influence of obesity on cognitive functions and compare among obese and non - obese individuals. Objective: This study evaluated the changes in cognitive functions comparative between samples of obese and non-obese individuals from India. Methods: Based on the Body Mass Index (BMI), the participants were classified into 2 groups. Cognitive screening was done using MINI MENTAL STATE EXAMINATION and the parameters like level of orientation, registration, recall, language, copy art skills were analyzed and scores were calculated. The data was statistically analyzed using SPSS version 23 and the independent sample t test was used to analyze the differences in cognitive functions. Results: The study reported that there was statistically significant decline in language, recall and copy art skills in obese individuals compared to non-obese group. Conclusion: The study concluded an innovative finding that obesity is associated with impaired cognitive performance pertaining to recall, language and copy art and overall decreased MMSE scores indicating that accelerated cognitive decline and neurodegenerative pathologies such as dementia in later life is influenced by changes in body weight. Interventions that target mid-life obesity may be helpful in reducing the cognitive risks associated with obesity.

Efforts to explore various basic principles and ideals of Islamic education have become exciting studies in the discourse on Islamic philosophy. This study is even more interesting when juxtaposed with contemporary lessons such as multiculturalism and Islam Nusantara. Ironically, this discourse has stagnated in academic debate. In this context, the researcher uses a literature study approach by examining primary sources in the Islamic philosophical thought family. This research aims to see the philosophical basis with dimensions, principles, norms, and values that live and use as human guidance. In this study, the researcher finds that from the perspective of Islamic philosophy, the basis of multiculturalism base on the Islamic doctrine of Rahmatallil'alamin. The common goal in the formation of humans is perfect humans as servants of Allah, social beings, and part of the universe. This basic principle is relevant to apply to humans in Indonesia who are diverse in culture, ethnicity, and religion.

This paper looks at the demotic tongue of mateship in Australian Great War Literature as a theme of cognition and understanding in the literary texts and texts of culture. The language, like the Australian, was filled with character and a sense of the larrikin. It seemed irreverent at times, even rude in some circles, but it was much more than its immediate sound or inference; it was the natural verbal essence of the Australian mind – honest, loyal, dutiful and humorous. These characteristics are cornerstones of Australian mateship, a type of friendship that would be there beyond the bitter end, rival the love of a woman and even the protection of one’s own life. For some Australians, poetry was merely an extension of this language, as language was merely an extension of friendship. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the Australian use of humour and language in the setting of Great War poetry. It looks at the demotic tongue of mateship, specifically what is known as the Great Australian Adjective (bloody), along with several other examples of vernacular language, in Australian Great War Literature, and considers this by referring to the common language of the Australian poet from the time. It will consider the notion that Australian writers of the Great War era may have been misunderstood as a result of their language, leading to critical mistakes about a poem’s literary worth, a poet’s seriousness as a poet and a nation’s literary value.
