Nowadays learning methods in higher education are under a constant review process. Applications focused on Blended-Learning allow to speed-up the learning process; this facilitates the design and implementation of interactive resources in the classroom. The present study shows an experience developed with engineering master students. Flipped Teaching approach has achieved significant mention in academic circles in recent years. Undoubtedly, the implementation of this educational methodology improves students’ motivation and increases their participation in the classroom. In this paper different Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) tools and multimedia resources that facilitate the teaching sessions are presented. Its use has been simple and intuitive. These educational tools increase the skills, abilities and competences acquired by students. The objective is to achieve more interactive learning. Students positively value this activities related to the Flipped Learning. In addition, students prefer teaching-learning procedures more dynamic, flexible, creative, participatory and with continuous evaluation. Although the general impression is that they need more effort and more dedication, compared to the Traditional Teaching. Every time there is a greater number of educational tools and electronic devices for higher education. However, its use must be correct so that it can be useful in training students.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are the major driving forces of globalised and knowledge-based societies of a new world era. They will have a profound impact on teaching and learning for two decades to come. The revolutionary change which is taking place in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), has dramatic effects on the way universities carry out their functions of teaching, learning and research, particularly on the creation, dissemination and application of knowledge. These developments pose unprecedented challenges to higher education institutions (HEIs) in developing countries particular in South Africa as South Africa is viewed as the leading country on the continent.

The information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have changed how the professors in the Higher Education Institutions (HEI) conduct their activities that benefits their work and personal routines. Nevertheless, the lack of proper ICT tools needed to its implementation (Lack of Work Techno-resources-LWTR) causes stress disturbances, affecting the professor’s health. This research focuses in determine if the LWTR is defined by psychosocial factors as Techno-anxiety and Inefficiency. Also to understand if those factors contribute to the level of technostress in professors of the HEI in the Laja-Bajio region of Guanajuato, Mexico. The analysis includes a sample of 415 professors, and a descriptive, correlational and regression analysis. Results points that professors consider ICT as a factor to increase their self-efficiency, their work in teams and their autonomy, having enough technological equipment to accomplish their work activities. Results also showed that the Techno- anxiety is the factor that mostly influences in the Technostress. Besides, the multiple regression analysis determines the Lack of Work Techno-resources in the professors. In conclusion, this paper contributes to the knowledge of which factors, caused by the ICT, contributes to stress in higher education professors.

The European Higher Education Area has caused changes in higher education, what involves new adaptations in the teaching-learning process because now the main aim is "learn to learn". Analysis of the Production of Digital Storytelling in Higher Education in Health AbstractDigital storytelling involves the narrative's potential to facilitate the construction of meaning and sharing experiences, with the languages of Digital Information and Communication Technologies. It can promote active and reflective participation of the students. In Higher Education in the health field, the latest debates argue for change in traditional teaching practices with the appreciation of the students experiences. On the training in Primary Health Care there is the need to approach them from the family daily routine and social service users and promote discussion on the relevance of training in that context. The aim of this study is to analyze digital storytelling produced in a blog according to the media languages used. This is a descriptive qualitative research which the context is is a discipline present in a medicine course. To produce digital storytelling, students created blogs in the virtual learning environment. The results showed the production of multimedia narratives based on the use of different media, such as pictures/photos, and videos. Analysis of the narratives revealed that the use of different languages to present the experiences and the way the blog tool was explored are aspects that suggest the development of skills, stimulating creativity, and reflection of the student in the teaching-learning process. Keywords: Digital storytelling, Information and communication technologies, Higher education, Health education.

Communication skills have become extremely important for successful communication in today’s time. As integral part of professional development of each individual, particular attention is paid to the skills of personal and public presentation. Further development of information and communication technologies has inevitably led to various forms of public appearance, whether it is a presentation of a product or new projects for different kinds of audience. However, formal education does not attach sufcient importance to public speech and public performance. More precisely, since the modern labour market requires adequate communication skills and knowledge, it would be necessary to implement a legal curriculum by introducing subjects of public speaking and public presenting in Formal Higher Education, specifcally in each curriculum of all faculties of social sciences. Such a reform in higher education is certainly the frst step in the professional development and democratic progress of the whole society.
