AbstractThis article aims to explain the case of female college students who use the veil in the college campus area, and deal with the prohibition of the college leadership. The study uses qualitative methods, conducted in 2018 at several state Islamic universities (UIN) in the regions of Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. The data source comes from observations and interviews with female veil users. Data collection uses in-depth interview techniques, and snow-ball. Triangulation is carried out to strengthen the validity of the data and information obtained. Analysis of data and facts in the field was developed based on the theory of chastity structure developed from the structure of feeling structure (structure of feeling). The results showed that the female student's veil dressing behavior was driven by a changing spirit or moving to be or feel holy. They cannot compromise with campus rules, because they cannot separate private and public spaces. They have a unique logic of space, which is all space as a place of sharia enforcement. AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kasus mahasiswi yang menggunakan cadar di wilayah kampus perguruan tinggi, dan berhadapan dengan larangan Pimpinan perguruan tinggi tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif, dilakukan pada tahun 2018 pada beberapa Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) di wilayah Jawa, Sumatera, Kalimantan dan Sulawesi. Sumber data berasal dari observasi dan wawancara pada mahasiswi pengguna cadar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, dan snow-ball. Triangulasi dilakukan untuk memperkuat keabsahan data dan informasi yang diperoleh. Analisa terhadap data dan fakta di lapangan dikembangkan berdasarkan teori struktur kesucian yang dikembangkan dari teori struktur perasaan (structure of feeling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku berpakaian cadar mahasiswi didorong oleh semangat berubah atau hijrah untuk menjadi atau merasa suci. Mereka tidak dapat berkompromi dengan aturan kampus, karena tidak dapat memilah antara ruang privat dan ruang publik. Mereka memiliki logika ruang yang unik, yakni semua ruang sebagai tempat penegakan syariah.

Almost the average company in Kebumen Regency has applied salary payment of employees in accordance with the provisions of MSEs, although in implementation is not one hundred percent. Although Kebumen District Government has set District Minimum Wage (MSE) in 2017 amounting to Rp 1,433,900.00, but there are still many employers / companies that pay salaries under the MSEs. The relations of workers and employers actually need each other. Workers expect the fulfillment of the necessities of life and the entrepreneur seeks to maintain the survival of his company. Without employers, workers find it difficult to sustain their lives, whereas unemployed workers will not be able to continue their business. So it needs a good relationship between the two, the existence of mutual understanding. Employers need to understand the needs of the workers, and the workers understand the company's ability to pay wages. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of District Minimum Wage policy and its impact on community welfare in Kebumen District. The type of this research is qualitative research, taking the data source using the technique of "purposive sampling" with the number of informants as many as 11 people including from the elements of local government that is the Office of Manpower and Cooperative SME Kebumen Regency, private entrepreneurs in Kebumen District, and employees of private companies in Kebumen . Data collection in this research is done through observation, documentation and in-depth interview. Data analysis techniques in this study is interactive model analysis, including four components of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion or verification. Theories used are theories of public policy, policy implementation and wages. The results of this study found that almost most companies in Kebumen District have paid employee salaries according to MSEs, although there are still companies that have not been able to meet the payroll of employees according to the MSEs. Some companies studied do not experience obstacles in the implementation of MSE in accordance with the established, but if the company has problems in terms of implementing payroll employees according to MSEs there is a mechanism of deferring payment. The role of local government in the implementation of MSE is needed in terms of socialization and coaching and know the problems that occur in the company or labor in the scope of Kebumen. In terms of achieving the welfare of workers, the company should be able to provide salaries in accordance with the Minimum Wage and supplemented with the provision of various benefits in order to create the welfare of workers in particular and society in general.  Keywords: policy implementation, workers, company, welfare, minimum wage

Abstract:Self-image is the result of the process of forming the environment. Women who wear the veil (cadar) are considered to be oppressed, terrorists, or others stigma. Something important to do is to deeply understand what is inside these veiled women about themselves and what other people respond to about them. To find the answer, the study uses a qualitative approach with the phenomenological method. They obtain data using in-depth interview techniques, which are then analyzed using a four-step system Jonathan A. Smith. From the data collection, it was found that the respondents decided to use the veil based on their beliefs, family, and peers. However, the mixed views expressed by family and society were respondents expressed pride and happiness by wearing the veilKeyword: self image, woman, cadar, phenomenologyAbstrak: Citra diri merupakan hasil dari proses pembentukan lingkungan. Wanita yang menggunakan cadar oleh lingkungan disituasikan sebagai orang yang tertindas, teroris atau stigma lain. Sesuatu yang penting untuk dilakukan adalah memahami secara mendalam tentang apa yang ada dalam diri wanita bercadar ini tentang diri dan tentang apa yang direspon oleh orang lain tentang diri mereka. Untuk menemukan jawaban dari hal tersebut, maka penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Untuk mendapatkan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan empat langkah dari Jonathan A. Smith. Dari pengumpulan data ditemukan bahwa responden memutuskan menggunaan cadar berdasarkan atas panggilan keyakinan, keluarga, dan teman sebaya. Pandangan beragam yang diekspresikan oleh keluarga dan masyarakat, meskipun demikian, responden mengungkapkan kebanggaan dan kebahagiaan dengan mengenakan cadar.Kata kunci: Citra diri, perempuan, cadar, fenomenologi

<p>Every social group has their own sociolect which represent their specific intention. In order to understand its intention, whether or not it can really represent a particular social class, this research therefore purposed to explain the sociolect used by college students who is practising prostitution in their site and also in their college. The descriptions and analyses intended to discover the intention of respondents' sociolect as a mean of representation of their social status. The research data are obtained from the usage of sosiolect by female college students who are practising prostitution at the prostitution sites and at their college. Data collection techniques are using observations, recordings, and interview. Data analyses utilize qualitative methods. According to data analyses, respondents has their specific, unique and particular sosiolect at their prostitution sites and at their college. It is intended to make their communication easier with another prostitutes and their customer. In addition, their particular sociolect is used to protect their privation, the prostitutes and their customer, when they are out site. They employ both verbal and nonverbal sociolects. As the conclusion, their specific and unique sociolect is indeed a way to represent their social status and have specific intention understandable from their own standpoint.</p>

<em>The objective of this research is to improve the Javanese script writing skill through the application of the Cooperative Learning Model of Flannelgraph media-aided Think Talk Write (TTW) type of the students in Grade IVA of State Primary School 03 of Karanganyar in Academic Year 2017/2018. This research used the classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Its subjects were the students as many as 34. The data were collected through test, observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. They were validated by using the content validity, and data source and data collection technique triangulations. The data were then analyzed by using the interactive analysis and the descriptive comparative analysis.The result of this research shows the improvement from pre-cycle, cycle I until cycle II. Following the treatments, the students’ learning completeness was 82,35% in cycle II.</em>

There are numerous studies of linguistics landscape or study of texts in public spaces. However, study on the culinary sign is still rare in Indonesia. Thus, this paper explores the linguistics landscape of culinary signs around campus in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, the melting pot of cultures and languages. The research aims to analyze the form of language use and its function. The data collection is photographing culinary signs around three advanced campuses in Malang, namely the University of Brawijaya, State University of Malang, and the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Qualitative descriptive was used in analyzing the data. The results showed that Indonesian, English, and Javanese are the most frequent languages used in culinary banners or storefronts and other foreign languages (Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Malay) and vernaculars (Sundanese, Banjarese, Minangnese). It was found that the Malang culinary linguistics mirrored the taste and service of the store. Furthermore, foreign languages are becoming a way to go global and known by college students who most like modernization. The use of Javanese also acts as a symbol of maintaining the cultural heritage of Javanese people.
