This article is the continuation of analysis and discussion from the book by Professor AI Nevorotin "Matrix phraseological collection: a manual for writing a scientific article in English". The Matrix phraseological collection is a kind of catalog of text samples. The samples were from articles selected from the leading English-language scientific journals and were systematized in such away that when writing an article in English, a Russian researchers are able easy to find examples suitable for his/her own work. Furthermore, the selected samples can be transformed accordingly saving the semantic and syntactic relations between the elements and, finally, be inserted into the text. The second part of this work is devoted to the detailed analysis of the English scientific literature and also the section "Legality of the provisions of the problem".

On the basis of the theoretical and empirical analyses published in the scientific literature, it can be stated that the concept of successful ageing presented in educational discourses is understood differently by authors and it is focused primarily on three issues related to 1/ spirituality, 2/ well-being, 3/ a sense of community. The article discusses research results aimed at comparing ways of understanding successful ageing in the scientific literature with ways of defining this term by young adults in Poland. The survey participants are pedagogy students. The article attempts to answer the following questions: 1/ How do young adults in Poland understand the concept of successful ageing?, 2/ To what extent do the ways of understanding this concept, which have been distinguished based on the analysis of empirical data, coincide with a typology created based on a review literature. Data analysis (cluster analysis) enables to distinguish two types of successful ageing understood as a link between transcendence and generativity. The third type consists of elements of Rowe and Kahn model which are supplemented with good family relations.

ABSTRACT Inaccurate data in scientific papers can result from honest error or intentional falsification. This study attempted to determine the percentage of published papers that contain inappropriate image duplication, a specific type of inaccurate data. The images from a total of 20,621 papers published in 40 scientific journals from 1995 to 2014 were visually screened. Overall, 3.8% of published papers contained problematic figures, with at least half exhibiting features suggestive of deliberate manipulation. The prevalence of papers with problematic images has risen markedly during the past decade. Additional papers written by authors of papers with problematic images had an increased likelihood of containing problematic images as well. As this analysis focused only on one type of data, it is likely that the actual prevalence of inaccurate data in the published literature is higher. The marked variation in the frequency of problematic images among journals suggests that journal practices, such as prepublication image screening, influence the quality of the scientific literature.

Abstract:This paper shows an analysis of the national and international scientific literature published on the use of social networking systems in education (Social Network Sites) between 2008 and 2013. The main objective of this work was to know how the research on this topic was being conducted in scientific journals, published in English or Spanish, in order to identify variables such as the educational level at which it is developed, the epistemological paradigms used or the most recurrent research topics. An analysis of the content from a total of 105 articles in scientific journals with peer review, was performed (62 international papers and 43 from the national context). This work evidences that it is a recurring topic in the research community, that a diversity of epistemological approaches are being used to conduct these kind of researches and those which analyzes the use of SNS as educational tools are the dominant ones. While there are some differences between the papers published in international and national journals, papers in our context are in line with those published in the international scientific community.

The purpose of the article is to review the scope of scientific literature of the late 15 - 20 years considering the problem of juvenile crime. The review covers the monographs, theses and articles published in scientific journals, and even newspaper articles covering all three waves of juvenile crime in Russia, starting with the analysis of juvenile crime of the 1920s - the 1930s. The analysis includes the new Russian-language (and partially Ukrainian-language) publications studying pedagogical activity, authorship, and scientific inventions of an outstanding pedagogue of the Soviet epoch A.S. Makarenko. The author demonstrates that the interest in Makarenko’s work is not decreasing both in Russia and abroad. The second part of the text contains the review of works of Makarenko’s followers and adherers - S.A. and G.K. Kalabalin, and their apprentices A.S. Kalabalin and V.I. Slobodchikov. The last part of the text is the review of articles and monographs studying the new wave of juvenile crime. In particular, the author analyzes the works illustrating the psychological and pedagogical, social and medical reasons of emergence, expansion and growth scale of such youth subculture as A.U.E (Prisoner’s Urka Unity), and the ways of its prevention and combating.

Introduction: In accordance with the requirements for the preparation of a report, a physician must provide information on scientific research in the following sections to obtain a qualification category of a specialist: 6. Scientific and practical work (participation in scientific and practical conferences, medical scientific societies, presentations, publications); 11.2. List of publications of the attested in scientific journals and collections, abstracts and 11.3. List of speeches at international, all-Russian and republican conferences. Material and methods: The analysis of 5 qualification works of a psychiatrist (1997, 2002, 2008, 2013 and 2018) for the scientific component as part of the mandatory requirements for the processing of documents when they are submitted to the Attestation Commission on the assignment of a qualifying medical category in psychiatry . The depth of the study was 24 years. When working on the material, the following methodical approaches were used: system, complex, dynamic, normative, quantitative and situational. Methods of analysis included: historical, analytical and comparison. For the analysis, methods were used: groupings, absolute values, continuous and selective observations. Results: The psychiatrist GAUZ “KDC” independently or in co-authorship published 223 scientific and educational-methodical publications (total volume of 182.65 conventional author’s sheets), including 90 scientific (39.81) and 143 educational-methodical (142.84) works, in including one monograph and eight textbooks (two of them with the stamp of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation). In the e-library (www.e-library.ru) of the Russian Scientific Citation Index (RINC): publications - 31; citations - 123; Hirsch index - 3, publications in the journals of the VAK - 13. (https://elibrary.ru/author). Discussion: The scientific work of a practicing outpatient psychiatrist is assessed both quantitatively and qualitatively, the integral indicator of the psychiatrist’s own participation in each publication of 0.78 conventional printed sheets can be considered as a serious personal contribution to scientific research. In the regulatory framework of indicators and requirements for registration of the report there is no synchronization in the daily work of a practical doctor, his job duties with the statements of the report. When concluding an employment contract with the employer, there is no mention in it that the doctor should engage in scientific work, and it is an integral part of his functional duties and qualification requirements. The scientific work does not mention the “Unified qualification directory of positions of managers, specialists and employees, the section “Qualification characteristics of the positions of employees in the field of health care” for a psychiatrist. Conclusion: The attitude to the Administrative Regulations on the provision of a public service for assigning a qualification category to specialists engaged in medical and pharmaceutical activities should be reviewed in terms of synchronization with the duties of a doctor. The Regulation on the compulsory conduct of scientific research should be introduced, substantiated and provided by the employer or be excluded from the administrative regulations as an independent section and be exclusively recommendatory in nature. Publications of physicians in scientific journals and collections, theses of reports should motivate their interest, and within the limits of the possibilities of the medical institution to have reasonable financial support, fixed in the employment contract. An example of a practical doctor who speaks at international, all-Russian or republican congresses, congresses and conferences is an important indicator of his professional growth, an incentive for the disclosure and development of the potential of the medical institution team and the result of proper administrative and organizational-methodological guidance. The scientific work and publications of a psychiatrist’s practical doctor should be a weighty additional argument in favor of a positive decision on awarding the qualification category he has declared.

The improvement and enhancement of scientific journals in Vietnam to meet international standards is in line with the directions and policies of the Vietnamese government. These policies aim to enhance the scientific and technological capacity of the contingent of researchers and research agencies in Vietnam. According to previous studies conducted in the period between1996-2013 in Vietnam, the total scientific output of the whole country increased by only 16 publications per year between 1996-2001. It was also found that there was an increase of 20% per year in 2002-2013 (Manh, 2015). Therefore, it is extremely necessary to propose a criteria and measures for domestic scientific journals to access international publishing standards as well as improve the capacity of Vietnamese researchers. In a number of studies related to improving the quality of international publications of scientists in Vietnam, the issue of improving the capacity of ranking research journals appeared in the works of Chung et al.(2019), Cuong, Loc, Trung, & Trung (2020), Ho et al. (2019) Hoang et al. (2020), Hung (2016), Nguyen et al. (2020), Trang et al. (2020), Trung, Linh, Phuong, Toan, & Hoang (2020). Most authors have confirmed the trend of increasing the quantity and quality of research in general and research in the field of educational science in Vietnam. However, the authors also pointed out a number of reasons why scientific research in Vietnam has not yet met the standards of international scientific research, including the issue of citing references.
