Language and text are inseparable concepts, as language is a device that encodes text. The language function depends not only on the transmission of information and reference to an independent reality, but also on the individual orientation in his own cognitive sphere, that is, language began to be seen more as a system of orienting behavior, where connotation plays a crucial role. As literature develops at the same time as society does, so that determined the relevance of our study, after all, the verbal component in a multimodal fictional prose text remains insufficiently studied and researched. Multimodality gains from a close study of the potential of the narrative as an influential mode of discourse that crosses cultures and media. The perceived monomodality of existing narrative theory, and specifically the dominance of verbal resources, is challenged profoundly by multimodality’s persistent investigation of the multiple semiotic tracks at work in storytelling. The main aim of this work is to study the functions of the verbal component of a multimodal fictional prose text. Achieving the outlined aim involves solving the following tasks: to interpret a multimodal fictional prose text; to analyze the functions of the verbal component of a multimodal fictional prose text. Solving these tasks requires a contextual analysis of multimodal fictional prose text and definition of the functions of its components. In this article we explain the role of the verbal component in the multimodal fictional prose text of Jonathan Safran Foer’s novel Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Verbal component can vary, as both the text and the iconic component can have a semantic meaning. We considered all of its functions: informative, communicative, emotional, aesthetic, attractive, deictic. All the functions of the verbal component play essential role in the multimodal fictional prose text because they are in close interaction between themselves and the text. Aim and tasks defined a complex methodology for analyzing the actual material.

This study, entitled "The Ethics of the Teacher and the Learner at Mekdad Yalgen and its Educational Applications," included four chapters in addition to the list of references. The study aimed to identify the cultural, social and educational framework that influenced educational ideas at Mekdad Yaljin, and on the first and the first principles which are the starting points of the study. And the ethics of the teacher and its educational applications at Mekdad Yalgen, the ethics of the learner and its educational applications at Mekdad Yalgen, and on the most prominent ways to promote the moral and moral learners at Mekdad Yalgen. Studying the need to conduct an educational intellectual study that shows the importance of teacher and learner ethics in educational thinkers. In the second chapter, it contains the conceptual framework and previous studies. The study covered the conceptual framework of Mekdad Yalgen, his birth, his stages, his education, his efforts and his scientific achievements, and the King Phil Award, and the most important factors influencing his educational idea. The researcher sought to follow the relevant studies in Yaljin and studies related to the ethics of the teacher and the learner. The third chapter deals with the general principles of educational thought at Mekdad Yalgen starting with the theory of knowledge of its concept and its dimensions. Then, it tackles the concept of human nature and its components, then the Islamic moral system, the definition of morality and the place of ethics. In the fourth chapter: the researcher dealt with the ethics of the teacher and learner at Mekdad Yalgen and its educational applications. Hali included the importance of moral education and the role of Islamic moral education in the building of the individual, society and human civilization, and also contained the ethics of the teacher and the learner and its educational applications at Mekdad Balgin.

The main objective is to examine the powers of the presiding judge in jury trials in the context of adversarial principles of criminal proceedings. Particular attention will be paid by the authors to different approaches to the notion of adversariality and the definition of the role of a professional judge in such courts, as well as the degree of his activity during the judicial investigation. The main methods used by the authors were dialectical and systematic method, analysis, synthesis, as well as special legal methods of knowledge. The outcome of the research will be a definition of the role of the presiding judge in a jury trial. Forms of criminal procedure that allow the individual to directly participate in the deci-sion-making process of the judiciary are responsible for ensuring citizen participation in the administration of justice in the state. Two such forms have been developed in the world practice so far: the classical jury trial model and the Scheffen model. Each of them provides certain (broad or narrow) powers of a professional judge, the scope of which determines the degree of independence of citizens and the ultimate prospects for the development of a system of popular democratic justice in an adversarial system of criminal proceedings. In today's Russia, the classical jury trial model, modeled after the English jury trial, does not provide for broad powers of the court. In addition, there is the adversarial principle in Russia, which is fostered by the existence of jury trials. However, strict adherence to its provisions may lead to a misunderstanding of the role of the presiding judge in such a court. The activity of a professional judge should be balanced in accordance with the needs of the criminal case under consideration. Thus, requesting additional evidence in the course of the trial in order to verify existing evidence should not be considered a violation of the adversarial principle. Thus, the development of the optimal model for jury trial functioning as well as the determination of the presiding judge's role in the context of adversarial principles of criminal proceedings is a socially-systemic task. It requires a comprehensive dogmatic, comparative-legal and political-legal approach in order to develop the jury trial model which is more con-sistent with the legal system of the state.

Analyzed is experience of distance education in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. In the context of education quality problems, attention is drawn to the inability of most students to organize their independent work and low motivation for independent mastering of the specialty. Meanwhile, under conditions of rapid development of technologies, rapidly changing economic conditions, flexible and timely planning in the context of overcoming the production crisis, specialists, who possess modern technologies in a narrow field, programming languages and the skills of working on specific equipment, are required. But, at the same time, employers are interested in well-educated and big-minded professionals, for example, crisis managers. Graduates should have broad knowledge that allows them to quickly adapt to new requirements, independently choose and master new professions in the future, receiving necessary education, navigate growing flows of information, strive for self-education and self-development, which should be based on the motivation of independent learning. The article focuses on the role of humanitarian knowledge, mastery of which is the basis for self-education and self-development. The definition of the concept of “philosophy of personal education” as a system of thinking in which the principles of philosophy of education are projected onto a personal assessment of one’s own physical, intellectual, spiritual, moral and ethical potential as a foundation for self-education and self-development is given. On the basis of philosophy of personal education, abilities, intellectual and creative potential of the individual are realized and a clear motivation for the need to master a particular specialty and self-improvement in this area is determined.

The article is devoted to a theoretical analysis of the problem of ethnic identity and its main mechanisms. The driving factor in the life of the ethnic group is its ethnic identity, which is an important component of socialization and a leading factor in the further development of the individual, its productive functioning in society. The article analyzes the main provisions on the definition of ethnic identity. The basic functions and structure of ethnic identity are considered, its psychological role is determined. The process of ethnic identity formation in the times of globalization changes is characterized. Its leading role in socio- psychological adaptation, maintaining the mental health of the individual and maintaining state integrity are determined. The important role of ethnic identity in the formation of ethno-national values that regulate the living space of society is emphasized. The article presents the relationship of ethnic identity with the ethnic mentality of the population.

The article examines the psychology of submission. Given psychological characteristic standards of submission historically embodied in the moral codes and legal sources. The subject of analysis are historical regulations XII—XX centuries, the customs, in which the fixed rate of submission, as well as the memoir literature. There are four basic psychological lines of development in the history of the rules of subordination, in particular: a special regulation of the rules of subordination and increasing social importance of the role of subordinate. It is proved that psychological acceptance of a subordinate role and the satisfaction of its implementation includes the requirement of special rules regulating authority and emphasis on the social importance of the role of subordinate. It was established that one of the reasons that the job satisfaction of employees of state structures higher than employees of private companies, a large schema definition of relations with management. Hierarchical role is considered in terms of two components: the role of attributes and rules, rules of conduct. The article focuses on the fact that the individual external signs, locking status subordination, increase the level of self-esteem of subordinate.

The definition of substance abuse is the use of certain types of drugs such as alcohol, cannabis, hash, cocaine and others that have serious side effects and clinical complications. There is a significant difference between substance abuse and the term addiction. The significant difference between substance abuse and addiction is that drug addiction or substance addiction is classified as a chronic disease controlling the physical and mental ability of the individual to unpleasant force to use specific drugs such as cocaine or else. The literature has a positive correlation between the COVID-19 pandemic and illegal drug abuse in substance abuse or addiction. COVID-19 caused emotional emptiness for many people around the world, in addition to anxiety and depression. The particular group of people started addicting to specific drugs to induce temporary happiness due to the unpleasant events they had from the pandemic. This article aimed to review the challenges of substance abuse and drug abuse in the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of public health in addition to primary care facilities against this phenomenon. To our knowledge, this is the first review providing a complex review about this issue since the beginning of COVID-19.

Using the definition of Hesselbein, Goldsmith, and Beckhard (1996), leaders are defined as those with followers and who garner influence with and among those followers. Mobile technologies, social media, and other computer-mediated communication tools have changed how those followers are connected to leaders and organizations as well as how influence can be exerted by the followers themselves. Leadership in political, economic, and educational contexts is examined through examples taken from research and current events. Three common themes emerged within each of the leadership sectors examined: time and place, the role of the individual vs. the group, and interactivity. These themes are explored through a framework of questions and leadership actions.

Tourism is a socially selective activity. While we may think that everybody has an opportunity to travel this is clearly not the case. Further, even among those who do travel, social, personal and demographic factors exert a significant effect on both propensity to and intensity of travel. This chapter examines a range of factors that influence tourism propensity and intensity among individuals. It begins with a definition of these terms and them explores barriers to participation, the traditional leisure paradox and how it affects tourism, and finally the role of generational cohort theory and tourism activity.

<p>The article deals with the constituent elements of the human capital and their influence on the development of the region. It stresses the special role of health as an important component of human capital in increasing production efficiency. The paper describes the current approaches to the definition of labor and human resources at the individual and community level (enterprise, region, society). It features the directions of their rational use in the case of transport enterprises of Kemerovo-city and the Kemerovo region. The authors give specific proposals for its improvement. The study involves a sociological survey revealing the motivation of the personnel as<br />well as facts of violations in the sphere of labor relations, and their interconnection. Attention is focused on ways to counteract the management of enterprises in case of violation of labor rights. The authors emphasize the need for social responsibility in the<br />maintenance and development of human capital, especially the need for an integrated approach to the effective use of human capital in the region.</p>

The publication Museums, exhibits, museum professionals complements our knowledge of how museums functioned in the Communist period and their situation after 1989. The book includes discussions or memoirs by eleven people vital to Polish museology, who were connected with National Museums (in Cracow, Poznań and Wrocław), museum-residences (the Wawel Museum, the Royal Castle in Warsaw), specialised museums (the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk, the Museum of Literature in Warsaw, the Jagiellonian University Museum), ethnographic museums (in Cracow and Toruń) and the Tatra Museum, which is an example of an important regional museum in Poland. Among the people are Zofia Gołubiew, Mariusz Hermansdofer, Jerzy Litwin, Janusz Odrowąż-Pieniążek, Jan Ostrowski, Andrzej Rottermund and Stanisław Waltoś. The book presents the image of Polish museology in a scattershot but interesting way. It also mentions more detailed aspects, such as how particular museums were founded or developed in the Communist period, and the individual role of museum professionals in founding and developing the establishments they managed. However, the most attention is paid to issues regarding the state of museums after 1989. The most important of these include the contemporary functions and tasks of those establishments and the challenges they will face in the future, and the role of a musealium and its place in a contemporary museum. The observations regarding internal changes in museum institutions, in the “master-disciple” relation in the past and today, the appearance of new specialities, and the change of their status and role in institutions (for example, of people responsible for education) are also noteworthy. Another significant thread is the discussion on the definition of a “museum professional” and which museum employees may use this title.
