The purpose of the research was to identify growth stimulators that promote the activa-tion of growth processes and root formation, to improve the technology of growing high-quality own-rooted grape seedlings from shortened three-eyed cuttings. The influence of physiologically active substances (PAS): Epin, Silk, Kornevin, Nikfan, Kavkaz on sur-vival, activation of growth processes, root formation of shortened cuttings of Bianca grapes was determined. As a result of pro-cessing cuttings with PAS, the survival rate of cuttings in the nursery increased by 10.6–19.1 % relative to the control. The yield of seedlings of the variety in the experimental variants exceeded the control indicators by 2.8–18.4 %. The effect of preparations on plant growth was noted, the increase in one-year growth in the variants varied from 5.8 to 18.0 cm relative to the control. When the ba-sal part of the cuttings was briefly immersed in a 0.01 % solution of Nikfan, the growth length was 78.1 cm, when soaked in a 0.1 % solution of Kornevin – 76.8 cm, in a 0.1 % solution of Silk –75.5 cm, in the control this indicator was 60.1 cm. The positive effect of growth stimulants on the development of the root system has been established. The indica-tor of the average number of roots per own-rooted seedling for the variants varied from 10.5 to 12.5 pcs., in the control variant – 10.7 pcs. According to the complex of indi-cators, a variant with the treatment of the ba-sal part of the cuttings for 24 hours with the preparation Kornevin-0.1% was identified.

This article presents data on the rooting of green cuttings of the studied species of ornamental trees and shrubs in a greenhouse with a misting system. We accounted the number of days from planting to the root formation and the number of rooted cuttings for each replication during our performance. We studied the influence of root formation stimulants on the rooting rate of various types of ornamental deciduous, flowering and coniferous plants. The effect of application of root formation stimulants is confirmed by the formation of a high-quality root system that is superior in length to those that were vegetated without “Kornevin”. However, the use of root formation stimulants is not advisable on shrubby cinquefoil, common privet and common lilac “Mademoiselle Casimir Perier”, because there is practically no increase in the rooting rate of cuttings in these plant species, compared to the control plants.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the ef-fect of salicylic acid on the processes of re-generation and root formation in vine grafts during the stratification period. The efficiency of treatment of copulation sections on root-stock cuttings of vines with Salicylic acid (SC) solution was studied) (10-2, 10-4, 10-6, 10-8) during the production of grafted grapevine seedlings. For setting up the experiment, we used the grafted grapevine variety Cabernet Sauvignon, the rootstock - Kober 5BB. In some variants of the experiment, a reduction in the period of vaccination stratification was noted, due to the activation of the process of wound tissue formation. At the same time, the use of salicylic acid stimulated the budding of the scion, the growth of shoots and the devel-opment of the root system. With an increase in the concentration of the solution to 10-2, a slowdown in the growth of shoots was noted. The present results indicate that salicylic acid, being an endogenous stimulator of growth processes, can be used in nursery production.

Features of development of corn root system of hybrid Dniprovskyi 181 CB under the influence ofthe microbial preparation Polimiksobakteryn (biological agent os which Paenibacillus polymyxa KB is anactive producer of physiologically active substances) were investigated in a vegetation experiment. It hasbeen established that the use of Polimiksobakteryn for pre-sowing bacterization of deeds and surfacetreatment of the vegetative plants in a phase of 3-5 or 7-9 leaflets induces increase in the size of the rootsystem and its adsorption surface. It was shown that the bacteria Paenibacillus polymyxa KB is aproducer of phytohormone substances of auxin nature, which explains the ability of the microbialpreparation Polimiksobakteryn to positively influence the processes of growth and development of the rootsystem.

We have found out the effect of synthetic plant growth regulators – Azotofite, Vympel, Amber acid on assimilation processes of winter wheat sort Yuvivat in the autumn and spring periods. The formation of the assimilation surface for winter wheat plants is a decisive factor in increasing the productivity of the crop. It was ascertained that on the 12th day after the emergence of the stairs an increase in the assimilation surface of winter wheat under the influence of Vympel – by 7.8%, Amber acid – by 17.2%, Azotofite – by 20.3%.On spring period on 217 days after the emergence of the seedlings, an increase in the assimilation surface of winter wheat under the influence of Azotofite – by 40.2%, Vympel – by 32.2%, and Amber acid – by 22.8% compared to the control. Such an effect of Azotofite can be explained by the fact that it consists of cells of nitrogen-fixing bacteria Azotobacter chroococcum. In turn, Vympel, at the expense of humic acids in its composition, enhances root formation and improves nutrition, which helps to increase the growth of the above-ground part of plants. At 227 days after the appearance of the stairs, similar results were observed with the previous ones. The most effective was detected by Azotofite. He exceeded the control rate by 40.4%. The increase in the assimilation surface under the influence of Vympel was 33.1% compared with the control. The use of synthetic growth regulators had a positive effect on the formation of the mass of raw matter of winter wheat plants in the autumn and spring periods. Thus, the mass of raw matter of winter wheat plants increased by 3.4% during the autumn period under the influence of Vympel, by 12.8% by Amber acid. Azotofite, which exceeded the control index by 15.1%, showed the greatest efficiency. On 217 days after the emergence of the stairs, the increase in the mass of raw matter of plants under the influence of Vympel was at the level of 38.2%, Amber acid – 9%, Azotofite – 68% compared to control. On 227 day, the greatest effect on the growth of the mass of the raw matter of the plant was Azotofite (62.7% more than control), in the second place was the synthetic growth regulator Vympel, which increased the mass of the raw matter of the plant by 45% compared to the control. As a result of the research, it was found that the highest performance of photosynthesis was determined in versions using Azotofite and Vympel, where the net photosynthesis yield was 11.5 g/m2/day and 9.4 g/m2/day and exceeded the control values by 69.3% and 38.4% respectively. Thus, according to the results of studies of the physiological effects of synthetic growth regulators, it has been found that the most effective synthetic growth regulators that stimulate the assimilation processes of winter wheat during the studied periods are Azotofite and Vympel.

Physiologically active substances were liberated by rooting willow cuttings and retained by the solution or sand media in which rooting had occurred. Subsequent rooting of willow cuttings in such media affected the number and particularly the length of roots. Stimulation of root growth on dormant cuttings occurred while the effects on non-dormant material were predominantly injurious. Stimulation or inhibition was related to the concentration of the liberated material. The active substance was thermostable and appeared to have effects similar to those of synthetic plant growth stimulants. It has been demonstrated that salicylates were not responsible for the activity.

It was established that for in vitro rhyzogenesis of apple rootstock 106-13 it is better to use medium with 1/2 MS macro- and microsalts supplemented with IBA in concentration of 0.5 mg/l without use of etiolation (the yield of rooted microplants was 90.0 % with a coefficient of root system development – 1.14 ± 0.18). For in vitro rhyzogenesis of apple rootstock 54-118, it is better to use medium with 1/3 MS macro and microsalts, supplemented with IBA in concentration of 1.0 mg/l without etiolation (the yield of rooted microplants was 85.35 % with a coefficient of root system development – 0.53 ± 0.12). The positive effect of etiolation on root system growth depended on cultivar. For rootstock 54-118, the use of etiolation stimulated the growth of roots on medium with 1/3 MS macro- and microsalts combined with IBA in concentration of 1.0 mg/l (until the end of subculture). Use of etiolation inhibited the root system growth of rootstock 106-13 microplants until the end of subculture both on medium with 1/2 MS macro- and microsalts and on medium with 1/3 MS macro- and microsalts, but it stimulated root formation of rootstock 106-13. However, use of 7 days etiolation at stage of in vitro rhyzogenesis of rootstocks 106-13 and 54-118 is not expedient, because it does not stimulate the increase in the number of rooted microplants at the end of subculture.
