There are experiences and accumulations that people have, consciously or unconsciously, throughout their life. These achievements are generally defined by names such as habit, moderation, temperament, and angel. While behaviors that are liked and praised by other members of the society are accepted, behaviors that are not approved are considered bad. Our habits are indispensable elements of daily life. Since they emerge without thinking and planning rather than being conscious, it makes life easier, practical and fluid. Although it is positive to make moral behavior and virtues a habit, when considered in the context of religious thought and worship life, over time, consciousness / consciousness disappears and can become actions taken without thought. When awareness and consciousness are disabled, religious thought and lifestyle show signs of degeneration. The way of life shaped by habit causes some behaviors that are seen as minor sins in the flow of daily life to be perceived as if there is no religious drawback in practice. Instead of shaping their lives in the light of the Qur'an and circumcision, people develop a unique perception of religion that begins to believe as they live. Verses and hadiths are understood beyond their real meaning with interpretations and compelling interpretations, where weak fatwas are accepted as sources. This situation leads the Muslim community to points that can produce dire consequences in terms of belief. In this study, habits-specific evaluations and determinations will be presented regarding these issues.

The study of living Qur'an is one of the studies in the form of scientific research on social events in the Muslim community by positioning the Qur'an as the main behavior and actions in daily life. From there, it will be seen how they react continuously and live up to the values of the al-Qur'an in their community. The study of the Living Qur'an appears as a phenomenon of the Qur'an in everyday life, namely the function and meaning of the Qur'an is understood and practiced by the Muslim community in real terms in everyday life. Unlike the study of the Koran which only focuses on the al-Qur'an as an object of study that focuses on the textuality of the Qur'an it self, while the living Al-Qur'an is more focused on the way people position the Qur'an. In his daily life. One example of this living Qur'an practice is the tradition of Free Lunch after Friday prayers at the Jogokariyan Mosque. In this tradition, the Muslim community tries to live up to the value of sodaqoh contained in the Al-Qur'an surah al-Baqarah verse 261. This tradition emerged in the community as a form of social tradition with the aim of providing assistance in the form of free lunch (free lunch) to Friday congregation.

The way of life of the Malay community cannot be separated from its traditional kampong or rural life, which forms the earliest template of life as family, community and nation, from the earliest stages to the developments of today. Changes over time have given rise to corresponding changes in the kampong, transforming them into advanced, modern towns and cities. This phenomenon occurred in Singapore and Penang, two cosmopolitan states of the Straits Settlements with close historical links. What occurred in Singapore may be discovered in Penang as well. The phenomena or dilemma of “cultural aridity” in Singapore may have similarities with the problem of “urban sprawl” in Penang. On this premis, initially the article discusses Hadijah Rahmat’s Kilat Senja . Do the socio-cultural issues of the Malay community in Singapore also occur in Penang? The answer to this question may be explicitly and implicitly resolved in Azmi Iskandar Merican’s work, Aci Patmabi . Subsequently the article raises and explores a variety of questions on the course of socio-cultural developments of the Malay community in Singapore and Penang. Keywords: socio-cultural issues, cultural aridity, urban sprawl, Singapore, Penang

Since 1980, epigraphic discoveries and researches have thrown new light on the Levant during the Achaemenid period (533-332 BCE). As an epigrapher who published many new Phoenician, Aramaic and Hebrew inscriptions André Lemaire shows how these inscriptions illuminate the history and daily life of the Persian period Phoenicians, Israelites and Idumeans. Thanks to them, it is now possible to know more precisely the history of the four Phoenician kingdoms (Aradus, Byblos, Sidon and Tyre) and of the Cisjordan provinces (Samaria, Judaea and Idumaea) as well as the way of life of Judean groups in the Diaspora (Babylonia, Egypt, Cyprus); they also provide new light on several aspects of the Biblical literary tradition. Profusely illustrated, the book shows how important these various inscriptions are for Biblical Studies and historical researches on the Levant during a period still too often qualified as ‘obscure’ but more and more illuminated now by contemporary documents

The objective of this work is to iconologically analyze the cave paintings of the Neolithic sanctuary of Pla de Petracos (Alicante, Spain), putting them in relation to the way of life and the religious thought of the society of the time, as well as the connection of these paintings with the Mother Goddess. To do this, firstly, the characters of early Neolithic agricultural and livestock societies, and the religiosity of the Mother Goddess that she professes, are contextualized with abundant academic documentation. The natural and religious scenery of the territory where the images and material goods—cardial ceramics, musical instruments, and ritual objects—excavated in the archeological sites located in the surroundings are described below. Finally, significant examples of ancient cultures related to the sanctuary are offered.

Abstract The term style is used in the philosophy of culture, in aesthetics, art theory and art criticism, in literary languages, in the plastic and monumental arts, in the way of life and behavior of people to characterize cultures, eras, creative individuals or works, so as we learn from philosophy dictionaries. If in Greek there is this duality of the terms style and yphos, the Romanian language uses only the former, while yphos appears to be used with completely different meanings, over time. Unlike the meanings in Greek, in the current dictionaries of the Romanian language the word yphos has a more pejorative meaning, suffering over time semantic changes. However, it seems that the old meaning of the term yphos reveals much deeper and richer valences than the term style and helps us to understand in a better way the conditions of an authentic musical-spiritual interpretation, in the “right spirit”.
